After a two year hiatus I came back with my boys for a one night stay. A lot has happened in the intervening years. The new Waterfront wing is in full swing; the old accommodation wing rooms tastefully revamped but maintaining the original style; the food is great; services upgraded. The whole experience is wonderful.

A full five star Malawi experience. Great views, rooms, food and service. Ideal for exploring the local area but progress is pushing this location towards the business sector and not the tourist way. Which is unfortunate for those looking for a break away. Still a fantastic place to hang out!

After a couple of days in Lilongwe, we visited lake Malawi for a change of scenery and this was a great one! The location is spot on, at a long wide beach with soft sand. Quiet, tranquil and relaxing. What a great location to visit. The food was excellent, we tried the chambo fish, grilled and butter fried and they were good. They also have a noon day buffet and the selection was grade "A" and the staff very attentive. In addition, there's decent accommodation if you want to spend the night, and camping options. We wished we would spend the night. Lot's of activities too, play area for the kids, speed boats, volleyball court and the jetski. Will I be back, definitely!!!!

Had to make my kids feel at home after being disappointed in Mangochi. The Service is great, rooms are just perfect. Friendly workers. Chiyembekezo, Daniel, Valencia and the entire team. Just perfect. (Waiters and Waitresses ) keep it up guys At least had a word to tell my kids about my beautiful Malawi. The Warm heart of Africa. I wish i could stay longer but time is not on our side. If you ask me to rate you . I will give you 10/10. Evene its 100/100 No Regrets at all.

Waterfront hotel looks like a third grade block of flats rather than a hotel. Swimming pool very small and third world design. Staff are nice. Food is nice. The road to this hotel is VERY bad though. Consider a proper car park.

When it come to hospitality in Malawi, Sunbird have the best hostels, and such a one is sunbird Livingstonia Beach. The beauty about this hostel is that it is just next to sunbird waterfront. When accommodated here, you will have a good view of the might lake Malawi. Boat cruise and swimming is one of those things to embark on to create good memories.❤️🇲🇼

Wow! Such a beautiful place, you walk outside and your right on the beach of Lake Malawi, rooms were amazing, the restaurant deck is absolutely lovely when having your breakfast or lunch such an immense view of the lake. Wow!!! I also took a hike up one of the hills... oooh my goodness it was so worth it Definitely eager to revisit this amazing resort in Salima, 🇲🇼 Malwai

A real get away, a home away from home. It was a wonderful experience there with my family by the beach. It is so relaxing, serene, and clean. The staff are wonderful, hospital, courteous, and friendly. It's a must go vacation resort.

The place has a beautiful view, good for vacation. If you're looking for a place to live a luxury life then this is a place to be, but I didn't like their food. I'd rate it 1/5. I didn't like the buffet honestly since the food was as if it has been cooked yesterday. The fish didn't look fresh even. It wasn't tasting nice. There is need for huge improvement on that. Had a great time thou.
