4/5 2nd November 2023 Came here for 7 days. It was my second ClubMed as I have been to the Malaysian one, Cherating. So my review will be based a bit on my visit to Cherating as well. So it's beautiful here as I came in October towards the end. We received two days of rain but the rest was sunshine throughout. The GOs are nice. Some who stood out were Leo, Rey, Julie, Dr. Joy and Vishnu. Good people. The place has lot of beautiful around it. The water is so clear. Only draw back for me is the food is good, but compared to cheating the offerings were not as much. I understand as it’s an island the import is an issue. Also the shows were not as good as I witness in cherating. I would definitely recommend this place for sure though.

For the first time visiting an all-inclusive resort the choice couldn't be better. When we were boarding our flight to Male I expected this to be a very lazy holiday and with great joy I admit that I was wrong. Club Med Kani offers its guest a huge variety of different activities from petanque to scuba-diving. During our time here we mostly did snorkeling, yoga, paddle-boarding and kayaking - and it was really great. All members of staff working here are with no doubt professionals and I can't even describe how amazing they are with creating environment of joy and excitement around them. After day or two you feel like you are on holiday with your friends no less. I would like to especially thank the snorkeling team for the all marvellous experience that we've had: seeing coral reef, swimming with school of fishes and turtles was truly amazing. I also should mention the high quality and variety of food served here - restaurant team doing a great job, never have I had such delicious meals. Thank you, Club Med Kani team. Hope, that we'll meet again.

Overwater Panoramic View villas .,.,, I had arranged a surprise for my partner for our anniversary prior to leaving Australia. Upon arriving in Maldives I made sure surprise was organised and all ready to go and then requested that our panoramic view room be located on the side of the island out of the wind and rain! As staying in this beautiful room with the rain and wind come in there is no point what so ever! They finally agreed to move our room to the south east side tier 1 but with a room down grade room 170 fantastic! I then requested another extra night to make it special with our anniversary as requested with special Cake wine and decorations! So on day of upgrade I check in at time 2pm revive our new wrist bands and inform them we are going on exercising and will return at 4pm please ensure room decorated and ready concierge assures me this will be and shows me Room. We leave go on exercusion to come back and enter our new room with our new wrist bands we enter room with our wrist bands that allow access to room 170 which I had checked into at 2pm to find out someone else belongings are in our room and that our belongings no where to be found! We then exit room and go to concierge to find out they don’t know what has happened and told to wait!!!!’ An hour passes to find out they still unsure and no solution.... surprise is totalling ruined destroyed thanks club Med Kani mantra collection.... Now hour and half past missed the sunset in over water villa missed decorations and wine and cake surprise to be told they will put us back now in orginal room purchased over water panoramic view but tier 2 not on this one we had requested we say thank you and go to room. Disappointed room not decorated as requested no wine no surprise very disappointing. Our 3 night stay at expensive cost not worth it room service they forgot something if not many items on menu and had to request for it to be brought out again! Alexis concierge is not very accomodating if anything makes you feel as thou you are requesting too much- sorry Alexis I did pay for this and would request service as advertised! Refill of mini bar - told abruptly by Alexis they have until 2pm sorry I am paying huge money to stay out here I would assume I would be first prefence and we requested this now 4 times finally at 12:39pm they refill or good enough. Tea bags in room well I had to take from main restaurant after numerous times for request never got refills then even informed GO in main restaurant as he questioned what I was doing - I was just doing your staff job of refilling anyway he assured me he would make sure this was rectified - yep you and right they did not! IF EXPECTING HIGH STANDARDS AND QUALITY CONTROL NO SECURITY BREACHES DO NOT STAY HERE! I would not recommend. An absolute gem of a resort. Went here for a family vacation and it was amazing. The mini club is great for keeping the kids entertained, and giving you the opportunity to explore the resort and all the fun activities without the kids. It was such an incredible experience and being part of all the fun in the evenings is also a great way to unwind and enjoy. The themed nights are always fun and it’s fun dressing up for those. I would recommend this resort if you’re looking for a great way to enjoy fun activities with the whole family. The GOs are very friendly and ensure that your stay is just that extra bit more comfortable and special. The food on the resort is lovely, but maybe a place where you can get a meal outside of the normal dining hours would be great as we did miss breakfast once and had to wait an hour and a half or so until lunch time for a meal. Besides that, I cannot fault the place and it is definitely worth a try.

Fantastic little island with very friendly staff and caretakers such as Hans and Pim who cared for the Teens Club, they are very kind and inclusive for everyone who wishes to join them in their many activities. The food has some of the most delicious banquets and platters i have seen and tasted in my life.

Every day has its unique dress code, schedules and night party, awesome Foods are excellent. Love the flying trapeze....first time ever try doing it, it was so fun. Over the water suite has breathtaking and mesmerizing views.

They are totally money minded. I lost a beautiful 👗 there when I went to change for swimsuit. Someone I told to connect them to get back the dresses, but they didn't help. Employees are not helpful at all. I will never ever go there again. And also not recommend anyone. It's not worth the amount you spend.👎👎👎 Infinity pool is also not a fun place to swim in salty water and with lots of restrictions.

This was my first ever vacation with Club Med and I was unsure of what to expect. I would say that my expectations were very high especially since the prices are high end. The whole trip was organized through Club Med including flights and transfers to the island. We arrived early at around 6am at Malé airport in the Maldives. We were right away greeted by a Club Med representative, he informed us that we had to wait until around 1,5h for the boat transfer, since it was too early in the morning, this was a bit disappointing as we were exhausted and eager to get to the resort. However the time passed and our boat transfer arrived and brought us to Club Med Kani in around 30 minutes. As we approached the island we were very pleasantly surprised to hear some great music and a nice GO waiting for us. We were welcomed by the warm smile and enthusiasm of Emilie. Emilie, welcomed us to the island, brought us to the reception and took plenty of time to explain to us all the facilities and let us see where to get changed as we waited for our room to be ready. The room was available in the morning which was fantastic so we could enjoy a freshen up and nap before getting on with our first day. The rooms were below our expectations as they need a bit of a freshen up, but the bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was spacious, with perfect water pressure. The cleaning was impeccable, so compliments to all the cleaning staff. As for the restaurant we ate at the Velhi and Kandu restaurants, since we had some intolerances it was often very difficult to understand which food items we could have, when we asked the staff they often did not know. We had to ask directly the kitchen for information which was not very convenient at times since they were so busy and we felt like we had to bother them. The fruits and breads were excellent, however the rest was hard for us to judge as most items we could not eat because of our intolerances. What meals we did have were not fantastic. Furthermore, the house wines are awful and the tap water after heavy rainfall tasted like bitter salt water. Despite these disappointments, this was one of the best vacations I have had in 10 years, thanks to the amazing Club Med Staff. We stayed for 12 days on the island and as the days passed the more we got to know the GO's and this made for an incredible stay. We went on many snorkeling outings with GO's: Mossey, Joey, Kevin, Iru, Sophie and Sham and these were some highlight moments of our holiday, we were fascinated by their free diving skills and also we got to see turtles, dolphins, rays, mantas, colourful fish. In the afternoons Nella organized the volleyball games and we became huge fans, and teamed up with GO's Sham and Iru who became not only our teammates but also friends. We looked forward to all the occasions to pass time together with them during the sports activities. The themed evenings that were the cherry on top after long days of swimming, playing, eating and drinking. The beach aperitifs in the evenings with DJ Victoria and visiting sister Emma were great fun, good music and good company. The shows were good, in particular we loved the Beyoncé show with Emilie as the front woman, great stage presence and amazing dancer! We joined in on all the dances and loved it, such a great way to unwind and pass time with our favourite GO's. Special mentions to the GO's: Behind the bars: Ferry, Anaïs, Arina, Kawser, Monir. Berenice for her smile, energy and laugh. During dining: Fellow Canadian Sean and also Vichy. Sham and Iru: for snorkeling, volleyball and their friendship. Dudu, who was everywhere on the island wherever needed, great smile, great dancer! David, for organizing transfers and crazy dancing at the end of the day. Brent and fellow GO's at trapeze who helped me in my first trapeze lesson ever, so fun! Thanks to all the staff for this unforgettable vacation, you made the difference!

Hello, We have been day pass guests and were treated like royals. Amazing service, especially by Su who was our welcome responasabile and by David, the transport manager. They made sure that we were informed and have a great time. If this is the treatment for the day guests, I don't dare imagine how good it must be to be a staying guest. We were already looking into staying there. Great food, great entertainment and fantastic/paradise location

Very nice experience. We got to see what we never see at home. If you are going for snorkelling, please follow this young Taiwanese lady's name, Peko. She is the best lead in the activity. She is not like the other lead. She cares and always looks back and checks if we are able to follow up. We also met a very pro chef, Subeesh. He shows genuine interest in all his cooking! He cooked us a big fish with our local style when he found out that I didn't eat the fish that he cooked due to me not used to the way he cooked.

Fantastic experience, staff are wonderful and obliging. Plenty of fresh food and the scenery is breathtaking ❣️ Thank you to all the wonderful staff! Bless you all, we shall return for sure!❤️😊

What a place.. .words cannot describe it.... must be seen to enjoy it... it was a holiday where could relax. All staff were fantastic... they were there for your every need. . And the weather was perfect....

Five stars just don't seem to be enough! One of the best vacations I have ever had. The staff is incredible, friendly and caring. The facilities are clean and beautiful and not a thing is missing and if it is it will be replaced super quickly and always with a smile. And the location... Heaven on earth! With great activities and always something to do with the amazing crew that runs the place. Will absolutely recommend.

We stayed 5 days in the amazing Clubmed Kani. Our vacation was perfect in every way. The resort staff are super friendly. And especially Alexis, who helped us all through our stay with every thing we needed. The room (panoramic water villa), was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed all the included activities, and the excellent spa. Although the weather was not always perfect and it rained quite a lot, it was never cold and the water temperature was also nice. Highly recommended for anyone who can efford it.

While the resort is good, it is not an all inclusive experience. There are so many add ons and the hard sell for extras is very irritating. Also our arrival and departure experience tainted our stay. Both were chaotic and unpleasant. 19 people were left waiting for more than an hour at the hot airport in Male. When we asked to eat something on arrival our request was denied or ignored. I could not find food for my elderly parents until 6 pm and they had not eaten all day. Club Med was too eager and greedy to grab a deposit to hold and totally disregarded our comfort- particularly the comfort of the three vulnerable members of our party - despite numerous pleas. Our check out was a disaster and we were forced to listen to four separate sets of reasons as to why our payment had / had not been received. Club Med uses an extremely unfavourable exchange rate to take an extremely large deposit for a hotel - this is not disclosed until arrival. Club Med also opened my account to my children. I requested that access be cancelled but it was not and my children made further purchases. Staff lied to their manager when I raised this. In fact, any issues raised were met with justifications and obsfucations to suggest that any issue was entirely my fault.

I love everything about Kani! Most importantly I loved their staffs. All of them are so welcoming, good with greetings and know how to entertain peoples. My credit goes to Iyerdh Ibrahim, he is funny, helpful and very kind to me and my friend. Club Med Kani definitely gave us an unforgettable and wonderful experience. We loved that our overwater bungalow is in the lagoon with corals where we could see many fish and friendly reef sharks from our balcony. We also snorkelled everyday right by the bungalow. Mini Club - included We highly recommended this resort, especially for family with children from 4-10 years old. The Mini Club had a comprehensive program to entertain and educate kids. They also have a separate program for 11-17 years old. The Mini Club staff were patient and fun to hang out with. We were comfortable to leave our children to them. Job well done and big shoutout to Aurel, Kat, Naja, Omen, Tyra and Yazudan! Snorkelling - included We snorkelled once or twice a day during our holidays. We got to see many mantra rays, bigger fish, sharks and sea turtles. The snorkelling team was very responsible to keep their eyes closely onto us. Whenever we went astray, they immediately got us back on track in line with the group. Huge credits to the professional and skilful diving instructors: Iman, Joey, Kevin, Mossey, and Risa! They made our snorkelling super safe and fun. Other notables Geoff the Village Chief was great leading and recognising his team. Food (multiple countries cuisine) and many water sports (paddle board, kayak, sailing) are all included in the package. Few fun special dinner/night events throughout the trip. We enjoyed our trip so much that we would absolutely save up to visit again!

Lovely place , very good team, but throwing plastic confetti on a terrace by the sea is definitely not a good idea...

Perfect stay, great staff, and the resort is superbly managed. From the welcoming on arrival till the departure, we were very nicely catered for. One of our daughter had her b'day, thks to all for the kind attentions you had for her on that special day Warmly recommend Kani

there are definitely room for improvements to be made but overall had a good stay. We didn't get a GO who stuck to us like we saw others had. Even it was all inclusive we had paid quite alot for additional tours.

Well, place is gr8, staff is extremely nice. Food is good, a lot to choose from. Alcohol bar is good Lots of activities So why the 4 stars? 1. expensive 2. you need to walk a lot from place to place, I mean a lot (I walked around 60 km this week…) 3. Rooms are ok. Club med is gr8, not sure we’ll be back at these prices.

The hotel have amazing view. Over the water view isn't just a view. You can swim with the fish right below your room. The food wasn't good. Alcohol freeflow. For service it's great most of the time. Just that I found one case of worker teasing drunk customer.

Beautiful place with amazing view and great atmosphere. Staff were great, always helpful with a smile. The rooms require urgent maintenance work, the condition is really bad and something you are not expecting even in a 3 starts hotel.

My sister and i had THE BEST TIME!! The staff is absolutely amazing, the resort and the beach are breathtaking, the food is amazing and the overall vibe is so great! I cannot recommend enough!! Worth every single penny!! 100% will come back as soon as i can!!

Simply put- an amazing experience. Writing this review from home I feel as being locked out of Heaven and so I really look forward to returning back there. Everything about Kani was perfect. The scenery/ excellent food & beverage department (wow!!!)/ amazing water villas/ shows/ ambiance/ diving center/ excursions. All these give the resort the 5* vacation ranking easily. But the people (Staff) there made it a heavenly vacation. And this is not measurable (as in ratings). Because I have not met such a caring and warm people ever- starting with Jonathan - the marvelous F&B Manager through Geoffrey- Chef de Village, Al Amin and Sharrif in the main bar, Akko, Hassan.M, Mavi, and the entire excursions team to the diving center and the Kani Bar- through Ariel from the Manata collection Concierge center and many more. Everyone I met was always interested in my well being asking this with a cordial and sincere smile. And this filled me with energy mostly.

The best kids' (and parents') vacation The activities are fabulous for both children and adults: volleyball, pétanque, beach tennis, badminton, snorkling, trapeze, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, jet sky tour... everything you need to enjoy and discover the Maldives and its natural beauties. And above all, an atmosphere of madness every day. Truly unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the entire Club Med Kani team (cooks, waiters, GO, the emblematic Village Chef Joef, the diving instructors, the maintenance staff) without whom we would never have had such a good time. vacation. Truly a paradise, the pearly white beaches that separates crystal clear water, Overwater villa that being the farthest away from the shore, amazing water sports, relaxing bars, mouthwatering food, and a big shout out to their GO/GE team- they try hard to make the best out of the whole experience for every guest.

Great experience staying at Club Med Kani. Shoutout to Ariel and the crews! If you prefer a place or resort which is more happening, Club Med is definitely the best place for you, undeniably. If there is thing to improve, it is surely the food. The food was so so, if compare to other resorts. But overall, it is a great stay at Club Med Kani.

Beautiful resort, great staff - warm and very professional, really nice animation and activities. Great kids club . We spent a week and absolutely loved it . Only 30min boat from the Male airport

Overall giving this resort 3 stars due to a couple factors but the staff deserves 5 stars. Vishak and Mosey were our tight friends by the end of the weeklong stay. They dragged us to dance parties, showed us amazing things while snorkeling and were always fun to talk to. The pool was awesome and the setting is beautiful. Reason for the 3 stars is that it doesn’t measure up to the price and most excursions were extremely over priced on the island. The entertainment was underwhelming and they spend the last 30 minutes thanking each performer. The beach is rocky when getting in and coral is strewn along the upper parts. We had ants in our room daily and our queen bed was just two single mattresses pushed together. The food is nothing to rave about but there is usually a gem a day. Having been to 3 other all inclusives, this was the lowest in my ranking but it was still a blast. It is hard to find a resort offering 2 snorkeling trips a day for no extra fee so take advantage of that. The wildlife on the island was also fun to watch (fruit bats, geckos, sharks at night, etc.). There are people from all over staying at this place so interacting with them was also very enjoyable.

We visited Club Med Kani in late November for 5 days with my parents (total of 4 adults) and we had the best time even though it rained and was overcast for the majority of 3 days. There was plenty for us to do throughout the day and well into the night - from meditation, yoga, snorkeling, aqua-fitness to bar hopping, watching shows almost daily, eating yummy food and participating in organized parties! You will not be bored. Pros: -The super talented staff at Club Med Kani are very good at what they do, love their jobs and it shows! We were in awe and cannot thank the full team enough for their hospitality. The general manager's was also omnipresent and his energy, enthusiasm, and smile was infectious. -Just a short boat ride away from Male Airport. -Good food was available throughout the day at different places so you don't have to worry about missing specific meal timings, although the main buffet restaurant does have the best variety, several live cooking stations, live music and/or shows to accentuate your meal. Cons: -Snorkeling off the villa/island itself is underwhelming, and while the complimentary snorkeling team members are great, the few spots they take you to are a bit hit or miss. -There is a bit of a walk involved from the overwater villas to the resort hub. I'd asked if there were any buggies available if required as my father cannot walk for long distances but was informed this could be made available for emergencies only. My parents were able to manage, we had to be a little strategic while leaving the room. Thank you Club Med Kani for such a wonderful holiday experience! Room Tip: Overwater villas provide access to 2 additional bars + an additional beach, and beautiful sunset/sunrise views. Our favorite bar was in this section, and my parents loved watching sharks and rays swim by as they couldn't go snorkeling.
