👍👍 Absolutely loved this place right next to the beach. The amazing helpful staff made you feel welcome. Went night snorkeling with some staff who caught a lobster bare handed then cooked it for me mmmm. People often mention island, beach, local, family, snorkeling, Huraa, time,

My wife and I stayed at Beach Heaven in the month of November 2017. I'm laying out my experience at the Beach Heaven during our stay there, and the reader must note that the situation may have improved later after we were at the homestay. The photos online looked amazing, whereas we were truly disappointed upon reaching at the homestay. The room had an attached bathroom and the bathroom door wouldn't close. There was no wifi connectivity in the room we stayed at - the few times we did get a signal, it was very weak. The toilet towels were arranged in the shape of a heart, but had a bad stench to it (the kind of stench when clothes aren't allowed to dry properly). The manager, Natasha, initially offered to us that we could check out after 2.30pm, but later asked us to vacate before 1pm so they could get the room ready for the next guest. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and thought we would experience the local culture at Maldives, but the homestay was a terrible experience and we won't be going back there. Also, the Google profile manager appears to be discrediting negative reviews by calling the profiles fake. My wife also got such a review saying she wasn't a guest there. Very unprofessional and lots of scope to improve. All things said, the local eats at Huraa were very tasty and the locals were friendly. We will return to the Maldives again sometime in our lives, but not to Beach Heaven for sure.

I've seen better places for this money on Maldives. Pros: resting area, clean bikini beach 5 minutes away, quite clean island (on Maldives standards). Cons: food, shallow waters around island (no good place for snorkeling directly from the beach), bikini beach next to garbage dump.

Mustafa and his family were great hosts.... beautifully clean spacious rooms for our family. Huraa is a beautiful island with a wonderful bikini beach for swimming and snorkeling. Huraa island is right next to Club Med island on the Nth Est and Four Seasons on the Sth ..(1 minute boat ride)... yet staying at Beach Heaven is a fraction of the price . We had a great time

Stayed for 3 nights before going on a liveaboard. Fantastic friendly and very helpful staff. If you like a cosy charming place with good local food , then this will definitely be a good choice. You also have a beautiful bikini beach very close by. Good value for your money, specially compared to all the over priced resorts offering less local charm.

Ocean Vibes and Beach Heaven guesthouses have same owners, it's a really great place with kind personell. It's the second time we come here this year so that should say everything. Not to confuse with a hotel, it’s a guesthouse. Located on Huraa island, a local island, not a resort island, it’s about 30 min by speedboat from Male Int’l Airport. Huraa is located between the 2 Resorts Four Seasons 5* and Club Med 4*. On Huraa is a bikini beach 5 mins by foot from the guesthouse. They have an own restaurant so you can get accomodation with full board. In the local shops you can also buy some extras if you need or forgot to bring. As in all of Maldives local islands alcohol is forbidden, but you can ask the owners to get you a daypass or eveningpass in some of the nearby resorts where you can get some drinks. We did that every 2 or 3 days. Also they offer a lot of activities at reasonalble prices like: dolphin safari, snorkeling with turtles and reefsharks (witch are no danger by the way), stingray safari (a unique experience while snorkeling near a tuna factory where you feel like in an aquarium surrounded by thousands of different fish), piknick on an remote island or on a sandbank in the middle of nowhere :-) Btw: we go the 3rd time in april next year!

Room size & toilet is good size. Bed is comfortable. Also it seems clean. But you can see cracks in walls. This place is a house converted to a guest house. There is no TV, no water boiler in rooms.

Rooms are really spacious and comfortable for price and very clean. What really set this place apart from most other similarly categorised places and made my stay special and memorable was the amazing hospitality here! As locals we are usually just given the room at check-in and then we only see the management when it's time for the checkout process. I am used to such treatment which is vastly different compared to what foreigners get, which usually is the case for locals like us at places in this price range. I was expecting the same treatment here too, but Boy! Was I blown away! From start to finish, the owner Mustafa and his family were there right by our sides chatting away with us, giving us tips on where to go, drinking coffee together at the attached restaurant(his treat), constantly making sure our trip was going well and all our needs were being catered to, he treated us as family and really opened up to us, making us open up to him in turn. When we asked for his help in purchasing some local delicacies of the island, he of his own volition refused to let us pay for it, claiming it a "farewell present". After we left he even called to make sure we got back home safely . I am glad to have met such a jolly and generous person who genuinely loves his work which is apparent in the care he provides for his guests, it was the highlight of our trip. We made an amazing friend, No. An amazing older brother for life on this trip. I will definitely be going there again! Next time it is to visit the new family I have found with Mustho, his wife Ainthu and everyone else!!I highly recommend this place if you want excellent hospitality and service and to be treated as member of the family instead of exorbitantly high prices at a resort for same quality of service while being treated as a guest. Let me just say, being part of the family beats being a guest of the family 😉!!

Room here was pretty nice. Comfortable (but small) double bed. Hot shower. Wifi worked ok but dropped in and out. The staff were friendly and helped us out when needed. Probably wouldn’t recommend the snorkelling trip. Was disorganised with a temperamental boat.

We had a decent stay. Breakfast was complimentary, but all the days that we stayed there, we got egg and toast along with butter and jam, a fruit platter, pancakes (the pancakes tasted bitter and even the pancake mix tasted stale), along with juice and hot beverages. There are very few breakfast options. I seriously think they should expand their breakfast options. No lunch or dinner was provided, even when asked to pay for them. Our room was pretty congested, and the bed kept squeaking the entire time. When informed at the reception, they were ignorant of it and didn't do anything about it. I wouldn't recommend the romantic dinner at the beach. It was a complete waste of money. The set-up was fine, but there was no music, and the photos and videos taken that were complementary were blurry. Even the dishes for dinner on the beach weren't great. And some of the dishes which looked appetizing on the menu we requested could not be provided. They charged a huge sum for it, and it was a complete waste. The snorkeling which the hotel organized was a great experience. Hotel personnel were decent.
