Tasty food and great service. Fully recommended

It was our first time here and have very positive feedback to give. Staff were very welcoming with excellent service. The food...delicious with a good portion. One of the best lamb and chicken i have eaten.. and thats having eating in the middle east, turkey and as far as mexico! Only 1 star dropped for lack of value for money, which are close to London rates. I would definitely eat there again, bit not as frequent for the budget l.

Had a fantastic meal here, The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was really fresh and really tasty. If we lived local we would visit all the time. The decor was really nice which also gave it a great atmosphere It wasn't expensive either We really recommend visiting here Five stars all the way

Really lovely clean place. The staff were especially nice and welcoming. My husband and I really enjoyed the food my only point of improvement would be less salt on the chicken and better calamari. Otherwise great food and drinks 🤗

Lovely food and a great meal out. Starters were slightly above average, and the meat platter was really well cooked and seasoned. Shame there is no doner meat on the platter however. It was quite noisy and packed in, and the male toilets are upstairs so beware of that for accessibility issues. Other than that, recommended!

Astare has been recommended on a few occasions so we decided to try it out. We were given a warm welcome and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered the set menu and was very impressed. The portions were good and it was all very tasty.

Food here was absolutely delicious. The best I've had as far as Turkish cuisine goes. The reason that I haven't given a 5 star review is because of the space. Like others have mentioned, the restaurant is too crowded. We were sat right up against the bar, so had restaurant staff constantly taking things to serve. It was uncomfortable and therefore we were unable to relax. Small place, over crowded, but the food & service is excellent.

I had my 70th birthday lunch there yesterday. I can nott recommend the restaurant and staff highly enough. The whole experience could not have been any better just perfect in every way. Worth every penny. Thank you.

What a amazing place the food was fantastic the staff were a perfect balance of welcoming polite and helpful but also left you alone to enjoy your food. The interior is very good and well thought out. I just hope they don't take there eye off the ball and drop there standard's as there high at the moment and that created a wonderful experience.

The food here is excellent, good portions and their side salads are really tasty. The service is outstanding and as a result I often come here with family and friends. I would highly recommend.

Had date night here with the missus on a Friday night. The food is really good and the service is excellent. The price is reasonable, too. However, the tables are too tightly packed for my liking, and the food courses came out so fast, followed by the bill, that it felt like we were being rushed. We were in and out within 50 mins! I know the more customers you get in and out means better revenue, but we are unlikely to return here, which is a shame because we loved the food.

I have been coming to this restaurant a few times a year since it opened. It has always been an amazing quality with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. My latest experience wasn't to their usual high standard of food in my opinion, but the person I went with had a wonderful meal. My calamari wasn't cooked well and it lacked flavour. My lamb kebab was tougher than expected. All in all it doesn't put me off coming back. We all have bad days.

This is no simple kebab shop. I’m staying with my girl and her family who are all vegans. Told them I had to run to Boots and stopped in here for a quick cheat meal. It was absolutely delicious. Best meal I’ve had since I got to England.

The food is amazing, really decent fresh meat and vegetables at such reasonable prices. The service is excellent, spot on timing from friendly attentive staff. A definite must go to, we've been several times over the last few months, visiting on our own, with family and with friends on different occasions. All of them have been amazed at the food. We're so lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep.

We have been to Astare several times over the past 3 years and if anything it just keeps getting better, the food is amazing, atmosphere is great and the staff are just so lovely. Great for couples, families and groups of friends! The king prawns I had last night were the best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Lovely food and atmosphere. The meze starters are amazing and the lamb shish islander is my favourite main, but everything is incredible! The staff are really attentive and I love coming here for a meal.

Not worth the money one has to shell out for low quality and bad tasting food. Disappointing is an understatement. A kebab takeaway in the industrial estate in Witham serves far tastier food for less. Don't waste your money. You will be left with nothing but regret.

Ordered & collected from them earlier today, however the collection time was only 20mins which is good but unfortunately the food didn’t taste fresh and tasted like it had been reheated. Sadly it doesn’t taste as good as other Turkish restaurants I have been to. Chilli sauce gone off, wasn’t fresh at all. The lamb chops wasn’t cooked fresh either, dry and tough. Definitely won’t be ordering again!

Food was gorgeous, staff attentative, but not always asking if you need another drink, place was 3/4 full, but no long waiting for any course. Only disappointment was that they added a service charge to the bill, even on a table for 2, not just for larger parties. Overall though, loved it and would highly recommend

This is no simple kebab shop. It does a great array of food and all of it tasty. The meals are well presented, with reasonable portions, and the waiting staff are attentive and friendly. The food itself is very nice, with the meat juicy and well cooked, and the salad crisp and as you would like it. All in all if you want an evening out, where you get a tasty meal at a restaurant with great ambience and good staff, look no further.
