My wife and I came here for our 27th wedding anniversary on the back of a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Food, service and ambience were of the highest order, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food.... well, the chef's pie and the Beef Wellington were exceptional. The wine list was well balanced in terms of style and geography, something there for everyone, I'm sure. Prices were very reasonable for the quality on offer, and I have no doubt this will be a regular haunt for us in the future.

Went here for a friend's birthday, very accommodating and helpful. The service was really good, and the waiter was very funny too! The food was amazing, a little pricey, but the quality was worth it, we also had a 25% off voucher which helped! I had Duck with dauphonoise potatoes with a cherry, brandy & orange sauce, so tasty. They gave the birthday boy a birthday song at end with a candle on ice cream which was a nice touch. The champagne sparkler was a lovely drink, it didn't last long! Would recommend for a special occasion, which appeared to be the theme that night, think we were the third table for a birthday!

Had a lovely family lunch for 6. Luckily it was a warm day and we were able to sit out in the back terrace which was lovely. Dishes all fab, staff very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

An absolutely lovely place for a special meal. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny and would definitely visit again. Service was extra special.

Sunday lunch - couldn't fault it ! Staff met us at the door, showed us to our table, brought menus & water & took a drinks order . Our starters arrived promptly, very well presented and tasted delicious. Our main courses were also excellent lamb & vegetable pie and belly of pork. No space for desert this time ! The staff were impeccable, the service perfect and I'm really looking forward to a speedy return !

Always a delight to eat here, such a nice setting and lovely staff, good wine (and gin!) and wonderful food. The chef's pie was steak & ale with stilton... the tart was from the specials, lobster bisque recommended by one of the lovely staff and it was delicious 😋

Went for a birthday celebration on Sunday. Had a nice private area downstairs. Food plentiful and loads of it. Skate was superb, I was too full up for sweet, but a couple of our party shared some, again they were lovely. Won't we leaving it too long before we go again. Staff helpful and unobtrusive. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for, well worth it. Keep it up.

Literally nothing to fault about The Blue Strawberry! We came as a group of 6, which included a celiac child and a fussy veggie. They were so adaptable to slightly altering certain meals on the menu to cater. We all agreed that it was by far the best food that we had eaten for a long time, I highly recommend!!! The extra birthday treat that they had caught on to was a lovely extra bonus. The staff were amazing which made the whole experience a special one! Thank you! 😊

A lovely restaurant with fabulous service for my Dad's 80th Birthday lunch. Really fresh tasty food, and a little extra surprise for the Birthday boy! Would always recommend the Blue Strawberry for a special occasion!

Visited yesterday for a birthday meal and what a wonderful place to go to. The service was excellent and the food was superb. Large portions served and we all left completely full and not one of us able to eat a dessert. A shame because i was eyeing up the dessert menu. I can't wait to go again soon.

Superb restaurant in Hatfield Peveral, more than a Gastro pub, service was impeccable at a level one would expect in the capital and a very good food & wine menu. Yes it is not cheap but there are plenty of Gastro pubs in Hatfield Peveral but the Blue Strawberry is on a level on it's own! The restaurant was very busy when we arrived on a Tuesday and that days a lot, seems people travel far & wide to visit this establishment and I can understand why. Nothing was too much trouble, service attentive but not intrusive, we will be returning regularly!

Popped in on a Friday on the off chance, just liked the quirky look of the place. On entering through the fun revolving doors we felt the lovely ambience and friendly welcome. The staff were extremely attentive and experienced- this makes such a difference. The drinks came quickly and the menu was excellent. I had the special salad which was gorgeous, real thought had gone into the flavours, the quality of ingredients was obvious. My husband had a lovely steak and blue cheese pie, he's a big eater but was totally satisfied. Overall, great atmosphere, food and service, all at a very reasonable price. So pleased we visited and will definitely be back!

Love going to the Blue Strawberry. Great menu for adults and children, the food is delicious. To top it all off the staff are always amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel special. Highly recommend and if you've never been, you're missing a real treat.

Our go to place to celebrate. Parking can be tight at busy times. Food and service excellent. Atmosphere is partly what you make of it and is a little off for me although cant quite put my finger on why. However, it doesn't detract from the occasion. Main washrooms are based upstairs.

We love this place but haven’t been able to get here in a while until today when we met friends for Sunday lunch. They have such a great menu with many tempting options. The food was as fantastic as had I remembered but the best thing is the outstanding customer service. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming, but our waitress today could not have done more for us and went out of her way to make my 6 year daughter happy. Thank you 😊

Really enjoyed it here. Really lovely food and atmosphere, little bit quirky inside which makes it a bit unique. Had the squid for starter which was lovely and tender, then skate wing for main. Was cooked really nicely, although a little heavy on the butter and caper sauce which then kinda filled the plate and made everything a little greasy. But no real complaints at all and would go again for sure.

Incredible food. Came here for our Christmas Meal and was more than just pleasantly surprised. Our host Koren was lovely, attentive and most of all welcoming. Will certainly be coming again!
