Awesome view! And you can climb up the hill on foot by some short cuts alongside the woods, very cool.

This place is one of the best sightseeing we have in Uruguay, it's a city called Piriapolis, surrounded by small hills and the beach. The road is not very steep, so you can easily drive up there. Over there there's a nice restaurant in which you can use the pool if you have lunch or dinner there. There are mementos for tourists, nice food and amazing views!

everyone visiting Uruguay should stop at the hill, the view is great and give the visitor a good perspective of the area.

It’s a easy hiking hill (1-2 hours), during the whole journey going up the view is great, at the top there are 2 sourvenir stores, a statue of San Antonio and one small kiosko that sells drinks, torta frita and churros. The easiest way to get to the top is with the “aerosillas” 200 pesos round trip. If you have more time besides visitting the beach and going to Piria’s castle this is a must do.

Located on a hill in Piriápolis, it gives excellent view of the Piriápolis city and is located on the 58 meridian.

Beautiful sightseeing with the visit. Small coffe shops and gift store make it better for tourists. The religious images are beautiful from classical to modern style. If possible, prefer a guided tour, as those leaving from Montevideo, so rich the local history is.

Beautiful landscape. To go in chairlifts they only accept cash. Cost 300 Uruguayan pesos per each to go and come back, if you decide just to go and come back walking cost is 200 Uruguayan pesos. There is a restaurant in the top, a santuary and a little shop to buy some beverage or gifts.

Stop on bus tour to Punta del Este from Montevideo. There are a couple of shops/restaurants.
