The coffee was really good! The fireplace was an added addition to the wonderful atmosphere.... the waiters were so friendly and the added bonus.... the coffee is fairtrade... win win... will come again!!!

The place looks amazing after renovation! Very nice furniture, cute little shop to buy snacks, great service and good quality food.

Best breakfast in the Eastern Cape. Definitely worth a stop if you are traveling through Aliwal-North. Unfortunately the food was so good, we ate it before I could upload some pictures. Friendly staff, clean toilets and the owners are a real joy!

The food was great . Fireplace added a nice atmosphere. Bathrooms are up to code. Sweets and other nice things are sold aswell . Maybe sell ice cream in summers hehe .

I called in advance to check if they are dog friendly. They said I was welcome and they have a spot for dogs somewhere outside. When I got there the waiter was not very welcoming and asked me to follow him, but then proceeded into the kitchen to which customers are not allowed. I don't know whether he wanted me to take the dogs through the kitchen which I find a bit weird. EDIT: I appreciate the response from the owner and especially that it has been addressed with the personnel. I'd like to try Pantry Café when I pass through Aliwal North again and will update my review then (updated to 3 stars for now).

Great stop at Aliwal North, beautifully decorated creating a very relaxing feel to the space. Small kids play area but it was nevertheless enjoyable for my kids. Ordered some drinks and cakes, the cheesecake was fairly good.

Definitely one of my favourite places in Aliwal North. The Coffee is highly recommended and such variety. Great and traquil environment to just break away.

Very nice cafe set up! Food could’ve been better in terms of temperature and seasoning on the chips, also not what was expected as ‘rustic cut chips’. They were sadly also out of ginger beer.

Took an hour and wasn't even sure what we ordered after ordering 3 timmes 11 months ago it was great we also went then the prices got higher and the service got worse Fine over the price then why was the service so bad and it hasn't been just today Ether way i won't be going again thx

This place is out of this world. The food are exellent and you can see this is not bread,ect that you can buy in a shop. Every taste is new and fresh. The service is wonderfull. The platters that I order for a function was special for me as I wanted it. But still it were better that I could ementioned. A real diamond in Aliwal North.

Sorry finger did not put in stars but experience was good the cake delicious will come and try your pasta love pasta. Your staff very friendly and we did enjoy the evening some reason while busy something happens so apologies for getting wrong impression it was really just problem appears while busy and when starting given stars the whole page just freeze and did not try on later stage but here it is now

The best breakfast and lunch restaurant in Aliwal North. The food was so delicious and fresh. Stake was prepared to perfection and the chocolate mousse cake slice I had was out of this world! The service was impeccable staff members are chatty and friendly, I highly recommend this restaurant. I was a bit disappointed though that they did not serve alcohol but because the restaurant has just been renovated so they do not have a liquor license yet. Hopefully when you go they would be serving alcohol But I am definitely going back, regardless!

Good food poor service, ordered at front counter, received our breakfast, placed infront of you and the waiter left, no anything else, enjoy your breakfast or do you want another coffee or sauces. Left a bad taste, friendliness cost nothing

Stopped here on our way and our way back from holiday. Lovely affordable meals with friendly staff and good service. There is a play area for the kids and you can grab something for the road from their lovely selection of takeaway homemade savoury and sweet treats. Highly recommended.
