Great pizza (huge and very good value and tasty), warm welcome from lovely staff, other patrons very friendly and a good selection of beers. View over the river was splendid! A lovely place to spend an evening.

Decently priced and the food was really good. Nice play area for the kids on the grass. It was a bit of a muddy mess due to the rain, but at least the kids enjoyed it. Nice relaxing atmosphere under the trees next to the river.

Excellent food, wonderful location and very friendly staff! I will definitely be returning! The chicken livers peri peri is out of this world.

First time eating there. The food was lovely, though the kitchen took a bit longer to serve it. All-in-all, it was OK. I would definitely go back, maybe during the day this time so that I can sit on the deck and observe the Orange River ☺️

Worst experience of my life!! Stay far away!! Ordered Bacon & Cheese Wagyu burger and it came to me completely raw on the plate. Myself and a colleague sent it back. They replaced it with exactly the same raw patties again. I then asked that they just put it back on the grill a bit longer so that they wouldn’t need to replace the whole thing again. The waitress looked at me and said: “So you want it dry?”. She took it to the back and brought it out again and somehow these guys have the opposite of a stove as it was even more raw in the center after that, but the outside was burnt to a crisp. Not a cheap burger to begin with, but I felt totally ripped off. No value for money here.

Unbelievable food in a simple beautiful setting with magical views of the Orange River. The food was just incredible. One of those nights that we will remember forever. Never expected this experience in Aliwal North!!

Stop over for lunch, self service which we didn't mind. Situated close to the river which was nice. A good kids play area is outside along the river. Ordered a meaty pizza and burgers which was good value for money.

The "no waiter service" is a bit off... you eat out to be served and not to go up and down and do several payments for each and every drink or additional needs... Very inconvenient when dining as a family with children, or when hosting a vibrant group... then you up and down. Couple or alone 😔 is just as bad for business because one paid one does not really want to go swipe several times. Unpleasant. Best sea food you will find in the area. Great service and good portions. Great selection of fish and the different ways they prepare fish (grill, fried or braai) is amazing

Went there on a date yesterday May 6th 2023. My partner and I ordered the Cheese+ bacon burger. The patty was think and inviting but the taste was horrible for me. Ended up giving it to my partner. By the way, we both didn't receive any bacon. The whole experience was just terrible.

Their food is delicious. The view is exquisite. I gave them 4 stars because there are no waiters..we have to place orders at the counter and that is a mini inconvenience.

Owner does not wear his mask, nor is there anyone making sure that patrons sanitize on entry. Ordering refreshments was a long process....the restaurant was busy, and queues were at the bar, however the staff weren't helpful or efficient. We ordered 4 pizzas, specifically a Chilli pizza and a vegetarian pizza, however all the pizzas looked and tasted the same. The base of the pizzas were half cooked. Unfortunately they're the only open restaurant in town on a Sunday afternoon.

The food is always delicious except for the service... We ordered an hour prior to serving but would arrive only to be served 30 minutes post arrival and orders would be mixed up

We always visit this spot on the way to the EC because we love their Wagyu Beef burgers. This time was very disappointing. Rolls were stale, service was awful and we really did enjoy it this time round. Not sure what happened?

Ridiculous experience! Ordered vegetarian pizza. Menu offered mushrooms, onions, peppers and olives. The pizza arrived loaded with pineapple and no olives! When I complained, manager informed me, without apologising, that there was a misprint on the menu, but that he had asked for the the pineapple to be removed from the pizza. 😳!! The right order finally came: it was dreadful! Base soggy, veggies raw, ....... 🤢 Want to forget the whole experience! The waiter was on form though.😊
