Stayed overnight enroute to PE.Easy to find as it's just off the main highway. Beautiful rooms for an overnight stay.Room was very clean and decor was great.Affordable and you can see they make you experience a 5 star one.Well done - my first experience at a small town B&B - they exceeded my expectations. We didn't stayed here for the night (we wish we had). However, while looking for some respite before heading off to continue our journey, we were lucky to experience the most amazing hospitality from the owners. They definitely know how to create a welcoming environment. The place is lovely, with a very nice swimming pool. If you are around the area, we highly recommend it.

Good halfway stop in Aliwal, nice big garden with a pool, AC in rooms. Pet friendly dogs love the big garden and pool.

Highly recommended. What a gem! Easy to locate on a quiet street. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had a big corner bath and shower. The decor was welcoming and beautiful. The car port was right by door of the room. The electric gate ensured that we could sleep well in complete safety

Rooms and venue very neat and comfortable. Friendly reception on arrival. Visitors must try the Pantry Cafe for a meal. DO NOT BOOK FOR THE BREAKFAST AS IT IS TERRIBLE. NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER ONLY THE BATH. NOT ENOUGH TOWELS FOR EACH PERSON. ANNOYING DOOR BELL AT 05H30. WE WON'T BE BACK

Overwhelming and Welcoming service, Caring staff.

The place was okay, not over the top, neither underwhelming. They have loadshedding backup but it's only for the lavatory and the tv (which is openview). I really liked the private deck and the aircon. There was no toothpaste but there was everything else which included towels, tp, soap, shampoo, microwave and fridge. The booking had a 100% cancelation fee and they were adamant on check out being at 10am with a threat of charging a second day if not honoured. My issue with that was when I wanted to check out an hour earlier, there were no workers and the owners cell went straight voice-mail.

Owners have changed from our last stay which was fantastic. Rooms are okay. Very noisy as it is just down from the main road. Breakfast is not included so the price is on the high side for what it is. Also we were not told about breakfast not included until we were at Sondela. Outside of the house is very run down. One upside is the well kept pool. We will use another B&B next time.

I stayed for 4 nights...first morning there was cold cold cold water,😭it’s winter for Godsake. Then I was told my friends are not allowed to visit me there, they must not even get in. I really didn’t feel comfortable at all, was treated like a child. I’m not happy at all with their services,l even went to a meeting without having ironed , because there was no one around when I checked wanting to request an iron

If you’re looking for cold water everyday, a bit of racism and a room with noisy rats then go stay at Sondela. They will sort you out.

Friendly owner and very welcoming. They were very understanding for our very late check-in time. The rooms were very homely and warm.

I enjoyed my stay. The lady was accommodating and friendly and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast the following morning. Nice and clean room with an aircon and pool on the premises.

We book the place month ago the time we go the on the day we been told they double booked us and we been driving 7 hours and we paid full 😭 they refer us on the other BnB Tania guest House what a nice white lady she treat us like his family... She very kind and sweat and we stay there for two lovey days and the time we there sondela they called us to come back for one day... It was bored and place it good but the owner was not nice and we like there staff they very friendly... I will never recommend that place to any one they let us down.

I definitely have had better service from places with a much lower star rating
