Had the most amazing 5 day stay at Casa De Olivos! Spent the first few days relaxing by the pool surrounded by stunning views! In the evenings we fired up the outside bbq was great for our group of 4 to sit sipping sangria while we one of us cooked! Clare and Ed were absolutely fab hosts and gave myself and family great recommendations for day trips and couldn’t do enough for us! The studio I stayed in was stunning , with beautiful decor and a very comfy bed and a lovely view onto the pool . I just wish we could have stayed for longer!

We spent 5 nights at Casa de Olivos in Traiguera, Spain, in June. The place was really special. Clean, spacious and lovely decor in the apartments…The kitchen had everything in it you needed and there was a very generous grocery welcome pack too. The villa is on a steep hill so the road approaching it was quite exciting.. and the views at the top are stunning. When you walk to the very top of the hill you can also see the sea on the other side. The pool was lovely and warm, sun beds very comfortable and there are plenty of options where to sunbathe as there are pairs of sunbeds around the pool and in the gardens to the side of it. The holiday was very relaxing. The space around you just makes to chill out and the views and the sunsets you just stare at for hours. A really special hotel. Very unique and it deserves a very high star rating. Thank you Ed and Claire for inviting us to your free trial, we loved every minute.

Recently back from an amazing stay at Casa de Olivos. Had the best 5 days of relaxing poolside, chilling in the swing chair with a good book, eating amazing tapas & having a cheeky glass of Sangria. Nothing was too much trouble by our hosts who provided an excellent complimentary welcome package of food & drink and were happy to help set us up when we wanted to BBQ one evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing stay in a lovely area of rural Spain. Was part of free trial stay.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to be invited as a guest free of charge to try out the facilities, and I must admit that we found ourselves in a little bit of Spanish heaven. The location of the property was on the side of a mountain in a lovely quiet area, and a very easy hours drive from Valencia, with excellent directions provided. The grounds of the property were stunning, well equipped and laid out, with a more than adequate pool and lots of areas to sit and relax and soak up the sun in a very peaceful surroundings. The accommodation was decorated to a very high standard and had all the facilities and equipment required to make the stay very easy, and together with the welcome pack provided gave you a great start to the holiday. The hosts Claire and Ed were lovely, very welcoming and very easy to get on with, and couldn’t do enough for you. They were very helpful in their knowledge of the area which allowed us to see some beautiful sites, with different towns and villages to visit whilst we were there. This really is a great place to either chill and relax and to recharge the batteries, or use it as a centre for visiting different areas, and together with the effort that is placed into your stay by the hosts you just can’t go wrong, and we intend on returning as paying guests in the future. Thanks Claire and Ed, you have a beautiful property and we wish you all the best for the future

Our holiday at Casa de Olivos was just perfect! We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which had everything we needed, living area, gorgeous bedrooms with very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and spacious kitchen/dinning area, we also received Casa de Olivos very own homemade olive oil - which was so delicious. The whole place is stunning, ideal for walking, yoga practice, photography, painting or just reading a book and chill by the pool. Anywhere you look you’ll be amazed by the views. Thank you Casa de Olivos for our complimentary trial stay, we cannot wait to come back.

Just back from casa de olivos, a absolutely beautiful place on the hillside. The views are amazing with lots of different areas to relax, snooze and read on while enjoying the sunshine and views. The 1 bedroom apartment we had was stunning with everything we needed in it including a lovely welcome pack with fresh food and nibbles in. It was superbly decorated and comfortable. Claire and Ed were so helpful and recommended us lots of places to go, the towns are so pretty and just a short drive away. We enjoyed a lovely evening having a cinema night whilst using the outside kitchen and bbq area which is so well equipped. We will definitely be be back and look forward to seeing you and the girls again soon.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with some friends and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us and we even had a bathroom for each couple. We had a lovely city break in Barcelona for 2 nights then stayed at casa de Olivos for 5 nights which was just the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a different side of Spain! The place was massive with lots of different spots to chill out throughout the day and night to catch different glimpses of the scenery! There is also a lovely outdoor kitchen where we enjoyed a few barbecue’s and a great pool to chill in too! While on our stay at casa de Olivos we were able to visit numerous of different little towns and beaches too! Thankyou so much for our complimentary test stay, can’t wait to visit again soon!

We had a very relaxing stay in one of the two modern apartments. There are lots of unique elements to Casa de Olivos that we haven't experienced on other holidays. For example, in the evening we loved sitting on the Perch watching the sun set over the incredible views of the Spanish countryside, mountains and nearby Traiguera. We loved using the outdoor kitchen and BBQ after a day of swimming in the saltwater pool, sunbathing/reading on the outdoor four-poster bed and playing Petanque. Claire and Ed were on hand if we needed anything or had a question about activities we could do nearby. A brilliant place for relaxing and recooperating, in a part of Spain steeped in history. If you want to venture out, Claire and Ed were able to recommend so many activites, sights to see and beaches in the local area that we could have easily stayed here for 2 weeks and had plenty to do, although we loved lazing by the pool too! Our only regret is we didn't book for longer!

Just book it! Casa de Olivos is a hillside retreat that you just know you've found somewhere special as soon as you arrive, we instantly unwinded. Claire and Ed have created something really special. It's all beautifully done, inside and out. We had the two bedroom Garden View apartment, but were lucky enough to have a sneak peek of the one bedroom Pool View Apartment which was just as lovely. Everything has been created to a high standard, wonderfully designed inside and out, from the design and decor to the fixtures and fittings to all the small touches. We had a such a lovely time. Claire and Ed were there if needed, coming up with great suggestions of things to do and all that local knowledge. Casa de Olivos is equidistant between Barcelona and Valencia, so we'd taken the opportunity to spend a few days in Barcelona, then a few days a Casa de Olivos, then a few days at Valencia before heading back. Be brought back a couple of bottles of Casa de Olivos olive oil (pressed from the olives of the very trees all around the property) and some fantastic vermouth that Ed had recommended we pick up from an artisan vendor in Valencia's famous food market! Overall, just a really great find and being on a hillside you get to see the sunset unfold in front of you each evening. Hoping to come back again.

Truly special experience. Looked great online and was even better when we arrived! The views were spectacular and the setting was particularly tranquil. There’s tonnes of hidden but comfy outdoor seating areas to admire the views of the land scape and nearby towns. The rooms were spacious and well set up to allow us to have a relaxing stay but to be quite honest a camp bed would’ve done just to look at the nice Spanish sun setting over the hills. We also played golf and paddle nearby so there’s plenty to do in terms of activities as well. Self catering is the way to go, there’s a lovely outside BBQ area and a fully functioning indoor kitchen area to yourselves. You can definitely tell the hard work that’s gone into making this a top destination and we’ll definitely be going back!

Just back from a lovely holiday at Casa de Olivos in Spain. We usually holiday at all inclusive 5 star hotels so this was quite different from what we usually choose. But we were both really surprised how much we enjoyed it. Just to have so much privacy and space to ourselves was really refreshing. No need to rush for a sunbed in the morning so we were able to have a nice lie in some mornings, and had breakfast on our own terrace… no queuing at a hotel breakfast buffet. We even had the place to ourselves for a couple of days with no other guests, so it really was like having our own private villa, just perfect, with so much space. We went out and about a few days to explore the Costa del Azahar coast which was great, and had a couple of beach days at Vinaros and Peniscola. The bars and restaurants are great there and very reasonable in Vinaros. Peniscola is a little more expensive we found, but views from the castle are amazing. We also took a city day trip by train to Valencia which we would definitely recommend. Shopping and sights there are wonderful. You do need a car staying at Casa de Olivos as it is on its own on a hillside. Traiguera is the nearest town (about 2km away) with shops and cafes, bank etc, which do have all you need as staying self-catering, but we really enjoyed getting out and exploring. Thank you Claire & Ed for letting us test out the accommodation for you on our complimentary stay. We hope our feedback has been helpful. And we will definitely be recommending Casa de Olivos to our friends.
