I absolutely love this hotel. I arrived at 2h30 in the morning and they had arranged a cold meal upon arrival. Also during my stay I felt at home.. impeccable service in the bar (special thanks to Cheyenne for making my negronis), at the reception and in the welness. Thumbs up for the friendly cleaning ladies as well 👍...

Our stay at this hotel during our summer vacation was amazing. The staff was kind and attentive. Great variety of food we enjoyed for both breakfast and dinner. We even had caviar a few times, which was a delicious. Our room offered great sea view. The hotel has three pools, two bars (where you can have pina colada) and spa with training gym. This hotel is definitely one of the best options to stay in Malgrat de Mar.

We had the most incredible time. The hotel is beautiful and so well kept. Our room was lovely as were all the areas we could sit. We enjoyed sitting by the pool bar, the main bar, and out on the terrace. We were all inclusive so enjoyed so much free food and many many drinks. Everything was delicious and great quality. The staff were all so helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The pools were all beautiful and so well kept. We loved the beds in the pool and we enjoyed the aqua gym each morning! We also enjoyed our free pass for 2 hours in the spa. The Turkish bath was incredible, and the beds in there were so comfy. Overall, this is the best place we’ve ever stayed. We have absolutely no criticism. The only thing I could think to suggest is there aren’t enough toilets by the pool, but that’s all! Thank you for the most wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Not up to the standard we expected based on other reviews. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the food was poor quality (onion rings, chips, burgers/sausages etc.). Not to mention the fact that there were very few vegetarian or vegan options so definitely would not recommend if you don’t eat meat or have other dietary restrictions. The sheer amount of meat served is actually quite off putting and seems unnecessary with a lot probably going to waste, so clearly the hotel has no concerns or efforts around sustainability, when the only vegetarian options on multiple nights were pasta with tomato sauce or some cooked vegetables. The area itself is not very exciting with little to do. You also on only get one two hour use of the spa facilities then have to pay €10 per person, this was not made clear when booking. However, the service from staff was good as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. Overall we were disappointed with our stay compared to the expectations we had and would not recommend this hotel especially if you are younger and actually want to be in an interesting area.

Just killing time before our transfer to the airport, I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to do so due to the amazing quality of this hotel. We could not fault a single thing, impeccably clean, fantastic food, attentive friendly staff and great facilities. All in all, one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at!

I loved the show on Saturday Night at the bar of the hotel. The band was good and we could dance some rock and roll and other rhythms 💃🕺the waitress was very cordial and hospitable, without interrupting. The drinks were good (tried fruit smoothies) and the price was correct. Such a fun night!

Adults only place about 200m from the sea BUT not on the beach. Has all inclusive option. NO beverages at all are included in dinner. Nice European kitchen. Great breakfasts. Very firm beds which was fine for me 😊 Did not make it to the pools (yep, plural) when the sea is so near.

We really enjoyed our stay on this amazing hotel! Pool area is really nice, and with 3 different pools. The breakfast was really nice too. Erik Camarero is the best waiter, such a professional at his job. Can highly recommend getting a drink served outside from him 🥰

It was my 2nd time in this hotel and I can truly recommend it! It has very well maintained pools, with enough sunbeds for everybody and designed so that you can always have some privacy. Common areas and rooms are well maintened and nicely designed. Food during breakfast and dinner is tasty and there is good variety (even vodka and caviar for breakfast;)). Spa area is nice and as it is additionally charged never too full. Staff is attentive and always nice. There is big public parking nearby and beach just one block away.

The overall experience was alright. The beds were rough. Some of the workers were very nice and some were always rude. Overall the ammmenities are worth it. The spa was the best part. You should do half board instead of full though.

The best hotel i have ever stayed at. Really nice staff and great service. A lot of variation at the buffet, amazing room cleaning service and a beautiful pool. Entertainment like aqua zumba, bingo, live shows in the evening,… Spacious and modern rooms and a perfect balcony. Could not recommend it more!!!

A thoroughly enjoyable and mostly faultless stay. Food is great (we went all inclusive) and you can order "snacks" throughout the day by the pool although they're more like full meals! (Pizzas, burgers etc). Drinks are of a very high standard, draught local lager (estrella) and delightful cocktails that were of an excellent standard. The room was great & bed very comfortable. We had the pool view and that was probably the best one available. On our last day, we checked out at 10am but flew at 11pm but were allowed to continue drinking throughout the day and were given lunch too! Staff really care and genuinely all seem to love working here which is a real bonus for us to see. We will certainly be back to AQUA hotels as it was very much worth it & a true pleasure to experience!

This is a five star hotel! It is not comparable to other four star hotels in the area. The staff, food, drinks and overall facilities are amazing. I would encourage anybody to come here and relax and enjoy. It is the only reason I would return to Margaret de Mar.

Lovely hotel maintained to a high standard. Cleaning is good and constant. Rooms are large and well equipped. Going again in Summer 2024. This will be our 4th time. Meals are hot and cold buffet all to a very high standard.

Where do I start? I was a solo traveller, who stayed for a week, all inclusive at the AQUA Hotel Silhouette & Spa, Costa Brava through Jet2 holidays. From top to bottom, I am extremely impressed with the stay I had at the AQUA Hotel Silhouette & Spa, Costa Brava. AQUA Hotel Silhouette & Spa, Costa Brava itself is incredible. Very clean, and calm hotel, a perfect getaway for travellers looking for a relaxing week. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, with different towns only a few kilometres away and only just an hour away from Barcelona if you wanted to make a day trip there. But if you’re like me and might need to break up the sunbathing part, with your pick of 3 pools, you get a free 2 hour spa to relax (Which the staff member Paco allowed to pick anytime to visit!) and there is a gym as well with cardio equipment and a pretty impressive set of free weight dumbbells if you want to get a little burn on. Ray the entertainment guy has great personality, and got me involved with the Dutch game Sjoelen which was a great way to meet other guests and make friends, and have some fun. He also met me in the hotel bar so I had someone to chat to. The reception staff are the 24/7 and the hotel staff I was very impressed with were Monica, Ava, Anastasia & the doorman Miguel. They were all very professional, nothing was too much trouble and they always had great suggestions if you weren’t sure what to do that day! It also helps that they all have a great sense of humour which is always a nice bonus! I had all the all inclusive option, so I had all my meals at the hotel, and I was very impressed by the variation and quality of the food, and the service was excellent. Karl’s staff were prompt, polite and friendly. There was always traditional Spanish food each night as an option but there was always sometime for everyone, from Bao buns with kimchi and Pulled pork, to pizza, pasta, huge salad options, soup, desserts, ice cream and even a chocolate fondue! The breakfast was also great, with selections of cereals, hot food or cold food, meats, cheeses and fresh bread, tea & coffee etc. Now we get to the hotel lobby bar and pool bar staff, who were absolutely phenomenal! I was made to feel very welcome by the staff, and they were very personable and fun to interact with! I want to make a specific praise for the bar staff: Xavi, Marc, Jose Maria, Lukas, Cheyenne, Miriam, Sandra , Erik , Dayami, Eli & Lola. But in particular, Xavi and Cheyenne. They had amazing personalities, great sense of humour and their customer services was first class! They let me watch the Arsenal vs Manchester City match, we’re always interested in what I had done that day, and they even invited me to go with them to an English pub to play darts for Eli’s Birthday when the bar closed at the hotel! Absolutely incredible!! I would 100% recommend this holiday to all of my friends and family. And it won’t be long I hope until I book another holiday at the AQUA Hotel Silhouette & Spa

Excellent service and really friendly staff, real professionals. Delicious buffet and great drinks. Nice 80's vibe. There is a little gym with basic fitness equipment and dumbbells up to 35 kg. The weather was too great to spend time inside and to try out the spa, but it looked very nice looking through the window at the gym. Malgrat de Mar is nice and I definitely recommend it over Barcelona if you want some peace and quiet, but there is a lot of night life too.

From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing. We had read about how friendly and helpful they were but experiencing it ourselves it was some of the best service we had received in a hotel. The buffet was well varied with tasty food, the pools outside were lovely with one heated one and the spa was a great place to relax. The rooms were nothing exceptional but very comfortable beds and kept very clean. Overall a great stay and we look forward to coming back!

AMAZING HOTEL! I loved my stay and would consider going back. Delicious food, friendly staff and clean facilities. I have to take one star off for two important reasons: 1) it’s a SPA hotel, however massage isn’t great (honestly). Staff just touches the skin, that’s it. No professional techniques. 2) there is construction just next to the hotel. It makes a lot of noise and you cannot enjoy the view. You cannot dry your clothes or seat at the balcony either since it’s dusty there. Thank you for everything!

Very nice Hotel. We’ve stayed for a week. Everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Rooms are big enough and very clean. Excellent breakfast with cava for those who want. 3 swimming pools, one heated. The beds are very hard, but if you ask for it (reception) they ad a matras topper, highly recommend 😉

We cannot complain about this hotel. The cleanliness, quality of the food and drinks (although too cold for us, use the mic) is good. We don't normally bother with entertainment, but it was great and varied. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of what was probably a thriving resort back in the 70s. We would return again

Pool area is very nice. Bar and terrace very good. Food is excellent. Safe in room is free which was excellent. Room balcony is small in my opinion as you can only just get chairs on. Rooms and housekeeping are acceptable and staff are friendly enough. I have been to prettier holiday locations . No tea or coffee facilities in room for 4 star hotel.

The atmosphere was relaxed. The staff were happy, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Room was comfortable and spacious. The outside was fantastic with all of the palms and other planted areas and 3 clean sparkling pools. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. A massive thank you to all the staff.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed staying in the hotel, but we do reccomend booking spa time and massages for your first two days in advance. They have 2 ambient temperature pools and one heated pool (24°C) outside. Outside and indoors bar areas. Clean rooms. Enjoy your stay here.

I absolutely cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The staff are all excellent and friendly,helpful and lovely. For us Toni stood out. He made our stay even more enjoyable. He helped us with trains and places to visit and loads of friendly chats. Thank you!!! The room was comfortable and everything we needed. We opted for a premium room and had a lovely poolside view. Room cleaning service was also on point. The food and drinks...variety a plenty. We loved every minute of it. The pools are amazing. You honestly won't be disappointed. Malgrat is a fair sized town with enough to offer in terms of shops and meals out. We came just before the season started. The weather was great and town a bit quiet but we liked it this way.

Very nice hotel! Clean, beautiful swimming pool, breakfast was great! Only thing was that the rooms are a bit noisy. In the morning we hear every person walking in the hall. But next time I definitely choose for this hotel when I will visit Malgrat de Mar again.
