The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great holiday. It's very very clean and fresh towels everyday. Its just a 5 walk minutes from the beach. Which is very clean with lots of lifeguard. At night it lovely and quiet. On Saturday night they had a DJ. But the is a hotel on the beach front that plays music every night until 1. The area is very child friendly with great parks all a long the beach front. The rooms are outdated however the beds are very comfortable and we didn't come on holiday to spend time in the room. The shower in our room was AMAZING! A power shower you will never forget. 😄The food was good.. We was half board. Our room was 415. With a slight beach view. We came for a relaxing holiday, that is what we got. Will be back next year.

Don't be fooled by the 3 star rating. The hotel is way worse than a motel by the side of an interstate. They had two beds that were placed together to be made into a queen/king bed. The AC was something they brought from a 70s thrift store , complete with a water pipe to drain. Also, the walls near the bed had mold and mildew to complete the ambiance. Since this hotel is a blast from the past , it has the power key setup. So you have to leave in your key in for the lights to turn on. We asked the front desk if there were any other rooms that we could upgrade to, to which they politely responded that all the rooms were the same. I definitely don't recommend this place. The pictures online are deceiving and falsely advertised.

I would like to get the main gripe out of the way 1st. This hotel is NOT actually in Blanes. It's around a mile away to Blanes. It's the area called S'Abanell where the hotel is located, so if they say a short walk to the centre of vlubs, bars discos, etc, around a 20-minute walk at pace. Well, what can I say? When we first arrived and went into our room, my heart sank. It's like walking back into 1981 with the choice of decor and colours. Our double bed was 2 singles pushed together, even the bedding was single sheets, etc. There's no hot drink making facilities and just a single plug socket. If you're planning on staying here, then take a trail extension lead. In this digital tech hungry world, 1 plug will not suffice. The chunky key fits into the box, so the lights work, but this didn't actually work, especially if 1 went out needing the key. TOP TIP. USE A FOLDED CARD IN THE SLOT, IT STAYS THERE ALL THE TIME (SEE PHOTOS) The TV doesn't have a single English speaking channel, so that's a write-off, not even bbc news! The hotel itself is clean and gas a basic functional purpose. Is it a dreamy holiday location full of style, charm, and luxury? Nope, not even close. However, you certainly didn't pay for that. Did you? You, like me, went budget! It's that but it's clean, the staff are absolutely amazing. The restaurant staff can not be praised highly enough. They are like crazy busy worker ants taking away plates and constantly replenishing the food. There is a coffee machine with plenty of choice but this is breakfast only! For lunch and dinner, your ONLY choice is water! Also, with lunch and dinner, there's no butter either, just odd. Most of the staff sadly do not speak good English, but then again, my Catalan is equally as poor. This was a challenge when required items or food information wasn't listed. The pool is tiny, and the separate children's pool they advertise, it's that tiny semicircular bit at the side of the pool! There's a bar selling an assortment of hot and cold drinks, a gaming room with 2 pool tables, and an air hockey game, too. This area was very run down, and I'd imagine in season would be mad busy. One night, there was a teen disco in the main bar area, 100 screaming shouting, drinking teens, joy.... Overall, would I go back, probably not? However, would I recommend it, without doubt. Aim your expectations low, and you won't be disappointed. At the end of the day, it's a budget 3 star hotel in a great location.

Would not recommend. When we checked in they kept our passports, not sure why they held them. Never had that happen anywhere else. When we came to check out they claimed they did not have our passport, eventually they found them but not after I had to continuously ask them to actually look. It did not feel very safe or reasonable. Staff unhelpful and rude. The rooms were very dated, only positive is that the air con is clearly new and it worked very well. Uncomfortable beds and you can hear everything from above, outside and around you. Our trip was ruined by a large school group of teenagers staying in the hotel who were blasting music from speakers late into the night, running around in the hallways and being exceptionally loud, so much so you could hear them down the street. Staff wouldn’t do anything about it, many sleepless nights.

Our children bought this holiday for our Golden Wedding and paid for full board. We are having a good time here and we love the proximity to the beach. Swimming in the sea is a bit challenging as the beach dips down and we find it difficult climbing out. Food and service are good and the weather amazing. The buffet meals are varied but complimentary water, tea or coffee would make a huge difference...at present they are only in offer for breakfast. All the staff are very helpful and are multilingual. The excellent weather was a bonus. Thoroughly recommend this family run hotel.

I give one star because of how the gentleman from the pool service treated us. The gentleman was aggressive and said- we have 10 minutes to leave jacuzzi!😅We are not children and he is not our parent so he can treat us like this. What poor customer service! 😱😱😱😱

Decent spacious rooms for an affordable price. Not outstanding though. Staff is really nice, from reception to bar. Breakfast buffet was rich, fresh and tasty: sweety or saulty as you whish. Swimming pool area is outstanding. A rarity for the price being.

The time what we spend here was awesome. The staffs were smiling and proffesionaly everytime. The breakfasts and dinners were awesome. When we plan the Holiday to Catalania we go back to this place and when it possible we go to this hotel.

Old hotel that could do with some rejuvenation but friendly staff and good location for beach and shops etc. Food was OK but gets a little repetitive and boring after a couple of days. We would recommend it if you can get a cheap deal. As others have mentioned there are large groups of children from France which were very noisy and disruptive which could have ruined our holiday if we were not in a room away from them.

I honestly don't know what to think about this place. Staff is super friendly and helpful, location is brilliant, common areas look great but rooms really need updating. I think the biggest downside was the lack of the fridge in the room. Regarding the food: they have a mix of local cuisine and continental food. Everything local was absolutely brilliant (tortilla and seafood soup were my favourite), the rest ok. Fresh pastries were so so so tasty and still warm when served. I think the pool doesn't get much sun so the water was cold but we were not bothered when you have the longest beach in Costa Brava right at your doorstep. We sat down by the pool one day and my son had yellow stains on his shorts which looked like bleach? Maybe it's chlorine I might be wrong but it was weird. Overall it has the potential to be a brilliant hotel if the rooms were updated. It was also very clean.

Went there 2nd September 2022 and stayed a week. It was good a nice hotel me and my boyfriend stayed the location is hood next to beach and near town and loads of shops every corner. Food was okay we got breakfast and dinner and it was okay but was horrible. Overall it was a good stay and enjoye the time staff was very helpful and also it is about 20 minute walk to train I think cannot remember. But it was a good stay. Also just to note when we were there they did have Ukrainian refugees which was nice to know as I am Ukrainian and you will find kids sitting in the lounge but are behaved.

It's not worth it. AC didn't work in the rooms. They make you slide the key into a mechanism to access any electricity. The shower was poorly designed, made it impossible not to soak the floor.

We got an extremely fair price for a one night stay with dinner & breakfast. The pool was nice, the rooms are priceworthy. Unfortunately we were deeply disappointed by the dinner, pretty much everything was either tasteless or cold. Breakfast was better. Location of the hotel is very nice! Staff is polite.

I have just returned home after a five night stay at this delightful hotel. I can't fault a thing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful they're constantly bending over backwards to ensure a fantastic time is had by all. The rooms are spotless as is the rest of the hotel inside and out, the pool was cleaned every morning. More food than you can shake a stick at and a good variety, all really tasty especially the fish mmm. I am already looking forward to returning later in the year.

The hotel is located close to the beach. In neighbourhood is few shops which are cheaper than this one in city centre. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Room was tidy. Housekeeping cleaned every day. Wide range of food during the diner which was really tasty. However on breakfast was a bit worse. I would expected some fresh veg there, such as tomato and cucumber. In addition to that coffee with milk from machine was horrible. If you would like go for great holiday without spending a fortune that's right place.

Food is terrible and also the air conditioner makes you sick. Stayed there for a week with my team because we had a football tournament. Came home and got instantly sick. (fever, coughing etc..) Wouldn’t recommend this hotel, but if you want to get a tummy ache after eating there or get sick because the air conditioner is old and bad then go there.

I stayed with my 10 month old daughter for 7 nights half board. If you are staying out of season…. Don’t! You have gangs of football boys EVERYWHERE. I had no warning before booking! I was kept up at night, and my daughter kept being woken up too. The first night our room was next to the fire escape and ALL night they were running up and down it! I went down to reception and there wasn’t anyone there to complain to!! I just had to grin and bare it. We woke up early the next morning and I went down to reception. There was a guy behind the reception - I think he just does the nights. He only writes down a list of what needs to be passed onto the main day staff. So basically at night you can’t complain!!! I was fuming. We were moved rooms where I thought it would improve. I was concerned it wouldn’t make a difference when the boys were being loud outside this room in the day time so I went to the reception to say I’m worried - the immediate person I smoke to was helpful but an older woman (had a ponytail) said I can’t keep changing rooms!! Safe to say THE NOISE DID BOT STOP! By this time I was exhausted. I had travelled to Spain from the UK with a 10 month old by myself and I just wanted to sleep! In the evening I heard music playing VERY loud. I went down to the floor and shouted at these kids for what they were doing then I went down to the reception crying saying I need something done about this now! They said if they do it again the police will be called (a woman with shorter hair was concerned at this point- sorry I didn’t get her name!). However nothing was done about it, they were still noisy - I was expecting they would be removed from the hotel, but this didn’t happen. I gave up in the end and used earplugs and white noise. These boys were also rude in the day. Crowding around the lift. Pushing in before me and a pushchair! One time I resorted to running them over with the pushchair because they didn’t move. They were vultures at dinner and I had to wait until they had got their food before I got mine and my babies food! Basically do not stay here with children! Anna did give me full board instead of half board for compensation I did appreciate this, however I wanted quiet. Not food.

👍 Booked this site in 2020 just before Covid. The team have moved and re booked my week many times. The pitches were Well packed into the available space. The on site shop and bar were very good. There was lots of shade from the trees and the staff kept it very tidy. Our van is 7.4m long so it's quite...
