Nice company! On the whole, I'm relatively satisfied. The arrival was relaxed, we were allowed to go to our rooms early and the manageress is very nice. I was very surprised by the rooms. On 2 floors. The view of the sea was great. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken in our room on the 2nd floor. Otherwise ok. The breakfast was fresh. Lots of choice but the same every day !!! I wouldn't actually visit the place again as there aren't many great restaurants (You often only find fast food and unfortunately rarely or never traditional food.) or activities in Pineda de Mar. Pineda de Mar is Not so good as a young Person. It is quiet and dark at 11pm. 🙄 Ps: The journey to Barcelona takes about 1 hour, and you should be at the platform 10 minutes early as the trains run on a whim.

Nice hotel, missing big pool and some changes would make it better, like do not charge for water during dinner time, just add this cost to the price of the room. I can pay for beer or wines when I want to have some, but still, water should be basic on any meal, just add costs to the price of the room.

The mini club for in this hotel was useless and we stopped sending our kids after the first two days. The animation team were young, inexperienced, and completely disengaged with the children. They made zero effort and barley acknowledged you when you arrived at the club. We used the free mini club on the nearby beach which was light years ahead. Some of the bar/pool staff were rude and service wasn't good. Apart from these two issues, the hotel was nice, and in a good location.

A superb hotel, my wife suffered a medical episode and all of the staff from the receptionist, bar staff and everyone showed a complete regard for her well being. We hope to return when my wife's health improves.

After a last minute change in hotel by our travel agent, we found ourselves staying at this lovely hotel which is located 100m across from the beach and 300m from the train station (which didn’t disturb us). A return to Barcelona was €11 return - well worth a visit, trains are every 30 mins. Lots of shops and eateries within the area, which were pleasant. All of the staff that we encountered were absolutely incredible and nothing was too much trouble - they are an asset to the hotel. the reception staff who were friendly, polite, helpful, found us some bubble wrap to pack the wine, bolt cutters for our case when I realised I had left the key to the lock back home and a kettle for our room. The front of house staff are attentive, friendly and engage in conversation. The housekeeping staff again are first class. The whole of the hotel and the rooms are kept immaculate, with daily cleaning. The bed was surprisingly comfy despite at first feeling like a wooden board, I slept well. We had a junior suite and the room was spacious, lots of hanging space and shelves with fridge and tv (tho limited English programs). Evening entertainment was varied, and good. No daytime entertainment but it was out of season. Buffet breakfast was good, lots of choice - however the scrambled egg needs lots of improvement- it was bland and had no taste, but the rest of breakfast was enjoyable. We only ate once at the hotel for evening meal, so can’t really comment other then it was buffet style and there was lots of choice available. Our last night we enjoyed a massage which was very good, despite being surprised it was one of the front of house team, tho he is qualified. The only improvements I would recommend for this hotel is soft closing doors for the rooms, as despite how quietly you try to shut them they make quite a noise. Sound proofing of the rooms, as you can hear lots of what’s going on around you. Improved scrambled eggs. But most importantly what really let’s this hotel down is the swimming pool - it’s an unheated smallish outdoor pool, and in the week we weee there I only saw 3 people use it, despite others sat around the pool after deciding it was too cold. An indoor heated pool would be so welcome at this otherwise amazing and beautifully located hotel.

It’s mine and my boyfriends first trip to Spain and we popped in for a drink and a bit of food and the service was incredible. The guys Aitor and Carlos were phenomenal, Mara was also so lovely and helpful, they were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We will be spending most mornings here. The food was delicious and the cocktails are out of this world. Thank you so much!

hotel located in a good position a few meters from the sea. the structure is a bit dated and would need a modernization, especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. as far as the services offered are concerned, unfortunately, I cannot give a positive opinion: the evening entertainment is a bit poor (with all my good will), then there is also a billiard table, for a fee, which would offer a bit of fun, but it's a pity that all the billiard cues are unusable (broken, without rubbers, crooked) and that in a week's stay no maintenance man noticed the damage? the pool is small and very cold. The reception and restaurant staff are friendly. we stayed with half board, the dinner was a buffet, quite rich even if the quality of the food was not exceptional. while the breakfast was delicious! overall it was a pleasant stay but honestly I would not go back again due to the poor quality of the services offered.

I stayed there for a few nights to accompany my son and his dance team between August 29th and September 3rd. Overall okay but not great. I forgot to pack one of my very favorite dresses. Called and emailed many times but no help was offered. I am very dissapointed!

A bit of a bummer. 90s style quality and furnishings. Suboptimally clean and lacking amenities. Small beds, tourist food and simply not a 4-star property. Safe is missing the lock! No kleenex! When, checking in, we literally got a metal key with a keychain with a room number on it. Haven’t seen one of those in 20 years. And only one not two. There is no deposit for beach towels and you can’t pick up new ones without going to the front desk and arguing with them :-(. Breakfast buffet is ok, but doesn’t vary much on a day to day basis. No trash can in the room (just a small, dirty, foot operated one in the bathroom under the sink). The food at the restaurant consists of frozen pizzas and hamburgers. We asked for the croquetas multiple times, but they were out. Very little Spanish food offering. A bit of a shame. Dirty walls, full of finger prints and flaking ceilings. The water temperature went from boiling hot to ice cold every 10 seconds every single day. A great budget option for teens perhaps, but if you’re expecting four star accommodations, and a modern property, there’s not much in this town, and this hotel certainly doesn’t live up to expectations. Wouldn’t come back…

Perfect stay at the Aqua Hotel! Close to the beach, shops and train station. Biggest minus was the buffet unfortunately, which had me to remove one start. There were milk alternatives which is a big plus point for vegetarians or vegans but when it comes to food it was just not good. Mostly staples, overworked staff (one day there were only two ladies for 200 people) and just not tasty except for the fruit and veg. Biggest plus point: the junior suite was really big and the staff of the Hotel (all of them!) was phenomenal, exceptionally friendly and helpful! We will definitely return! :)

Hotel was good but train is in front of the hotel, and crazy parrots in palm tree was wild and very loud. Thank god that my parrot left without any sound and never come back.

Great location right near shops, cafes, beach and train station. Friendly staff, rooms spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. Pool is small but we didn't use as beach literally across the road. Plenty of variety at breakfast and Dinner, great hot food, salads and fresh fruit, deserts ok but not a lot of flavour your usual bought in gateaus that were quite bland, rice pudding one night was great though. What stopped me giving 5 stars? Well there was no chest of drawers in the room to store clothes so had to leave in suitcase, bathrooms could do with a redesign, bath very narrow if your on the bigger size and like a bath, no tea and coffee making facilites, could have done with a kettle, mugs and spoons, don't need to provide the rest as could easily take, and a welcome manual with things to do and see would have been useful. Overall a great place to stay and would still return again.

Good hotel, nice location for beach and food buffet lovers. Nice standard bed and shower which we were expecting.

So small rooms and so noisy that you can even hear you room neighbors talking to each other later on the night, not recommended if you have that your children. Good reception and service. Location is really not helpful if you have car as there is no place for parking and you will need to search for hours (specially in summerunde 35°c) to find a place billable for 6 € a day otherwise you will be charged for 60 € by the city parking controllers.

Great staff - Relaxed and friendly. The hotel gets the important things right - good people, comfortable bed, hot shower, quiet. Not perfect, but nothing is.

Hotel is very good and all the staff are very professional and very helpful and the location is just 100 m from the beach. I will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Pineda de Mar. What else can I said... Just I will see you next year.

My wife and I stayed at AQUA Hotel promenade at the start of June 2022 and I would heartily recommend it to anybody wanting to stay in Pineda De Mar. It is located directly opposite the beach and just a couple of hundred yards from the main train station, from where you can easily travel to Blanes, Malgrat, Calella and even Barcelona. We chose to stay Half Board and although the range of food for our evening meal could do with being a little more varied, we have no issues with everything we ate there. Our Premium room was on the 4th floor (402) and had good views of the sea, with comfortable beds and a lovely walk-in shower. The room also has air conditioning, a fridge, reasonable sized TV and a balcony. No tea or coffee making facilities so we took our own travel kettle. The single biggest plus for this hotel though is their wonderful staff. Every single person I dealt with, without exception, was friendly & helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay that bit more enjoyable. From the restaurant staff, to the Reception team to the bar staff and the cleaners, they were all a pleasure to deal with. I think some of the staff could do with a few more pairs of hands though, as they were constantly run off their feet. All in all a lovely hotel that I would have no hesitation in recommending.

The rooms where nice and as shown in the pictures. Also the location close to the beach is really nice. The pool however is very small and most of the time occupied by children. So not the best place to relax. While the food was pretty good the bar was a huge disappointment and the worst experience I had on many trips. We had cocktails and sangria on two evenings and both times it tasted very watered down. The cocktails did not taste like they had any alcohol at all. My Pinacolada for example tasted like pure pineapple juice. Thank god there are many good alternatives nearby.
