Great hotel for a short break. Food was excellent with plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Good service and clean rooms and facilities. Ideal for kids with a variety of pools for all and a few daily and evening activities. Beach and local shops were a 10 min walk away. I feel that maybe some different entertainment for adults and children would be good, but don't be put off as kids enjoyed all. Also some of the drinks you had to pay for even with being all inclusive which I thought was strange but again just being picky.

Our stay at Hotel Pineda Splash was very good! The animation activities were great, very suitable for adults, families and children. For example, every day a mini disco was organized for the kids, a Disney show was held once a week and next to the bar/pool a playground is located. The common areas were very nice too. The pool areas are clean and suitable for all ages, complete with different slides and water play. The hotel and the rooms have a modern interior, are spacious and clean. We requested a crib for our one year old and that was already made ready when we entered our room. We booked a week at Pineda Splash, with breakfast only. The breakfast was good (every day the same though). When you haven’t booked all inclusive you can still pay for the lunch- and dinner buffet. Location-wise the hotel is in a good spot, very central, close to the trainstation, beach and shops. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Pineda Splash and would definitely recommend it 🤩👍🏼

We’re just back after an amazing holiday! Hotel and all the staff couldn’t have been nicer! It’s a short drive away from Girona Airport and a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach. The town as such is also only a small walk away. We were there as a family with kids ages 7 and 4 and they had the best time. Kids club had lots of lovely activities. We went for the all inclusive package and felt there was a great choice for everyone, and plenty of great food (and drinks) to be enjoyed. We had booked the 2 bed family room and it was very spacious and clean. Our daughter had an accident on one of the water slides, we received great help and assistance from the staff in caring for her. Staff and service couldn’t have been better. Thank you. Would defiantly recommend this Hotel.

This is our first day here the girls and I love it so much already! I'm absolutely blown away with how incredible this place is, I'm so glad it's still not well known which gives you the advantage for everything! Service and entertainment are brilliant 👏 The rooms are beautifully white and kept so nice, there are kids pools with loads of fun slides, adult boring pools with jacuzzi, bars are very quick Service. The beach is literally a few minute walk away with a sea inflatable jungle gym, Fisher boats up and down the beach at night, night friendly bars Edit *My only issues are at night there isn't any outside music playing when the inside entertainment is on at night for those who want to have a relaxing drink outside And day time there isn't an outside snack bar that offers burgers and chips for those who want to stay by the pool. It's just the only holiday we've been to that doesn't have one.

Had a lovely week away. As others have said, pools were chilly but refreshing and there were plenty of people in them each day. Everything was spotless, rooms were brilliant, if a little small but the fact the the little one had almost a bedroom to herself was fantastic. Great location with a short walk to shops, bars and the beach. Train station also just by the beach for cheap trips out. €11 to get to Barcelona for the day. Would definitely recommend.

A fantastic hotel, perfectly located in the lovely Pineda de Mar - 10 mins walk to the beach & shops/restaurants but in a nice quiet area. Our room had a lovely view out to the surrounding hills and was spacious, clean and fresh. A balcony, kettle and fridge are all so useful. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice and because the restaurant is so large you never feel like it is too busy and you are having to queue for the buffet. The staff were all really friendly and always on hand to answer any queries. We took advantage of a special arrangement they have with the local sailing school to have a free hour of kayaking in the sea - definitely recommended! There are loads of nice areas to sit both indoors and outdoors around the hotel. The range of pools and loungers is brilliant and we never struggled to find somewhere to rest which made for an extremely relaxing holiday.

Currently here on a 5 night break, 3 nights in and having a wonderful time…. Food has been gorgeous every evening with lots of variety, loved my 13 year old “fussy eater” has tried crab, mussels, cordon bleu, veal ect and enjoyed it all. Breakfast and lunch are very standard fare but with lots of choices…. Same with snacks, yes leftovers from breakfast/lunch but with burgers/hotdogs fresh salad. Plenty of drink choices on all inclusive and discounted prices for premium all inclusive. I’ve yet to meet a member of staff who isn’t attentive and helpful, they’re all Friendly and fantastic! Rooms are small but well thought out and fine for a base. Pools are cold but it is October so to be expected, very clean and slides are a lot of fun. General area is lovely with a clean each on your doorstep and train line into Barcelona very cheap and easy. So pleased we came here, we’ve loved it so far and look forward to making the most of our last few days. Thank you to all the wonderful staff here at Pineda splash, you’ve made out holiday.

Pros: Hotel with good kids entertainment, nice pools, plenty of sun loungers and close to main area of Pineda de mar, beach and train station. Friendly staff. Every night there is entertainment for kids and adults. Kids club is also on site. Cons: Food quality is not the best, fish and meat is soaked in oil and they repeat it too often in short period of time. When ordering soft drinks, they are trying to sell Coca Cola and Juice from machine for the same price as unopened glass bottle. I was also charged 6€ on departure for unpaid drink, which was not the case, since I always paid my drink. They could not prove it with receipt with my signature, but I paid anyway. Insulation of the room is not the best, as you can hear everything from corridor, which is not great when drunk guests returns to the room in the middle of the night. Cleaning of the room is basic. On arrival it was very dusty under the beds and it stayed like that for the whole duration of the holiday. If ever returning to Pineda de Mar, I would not stay here. It was not bad, but also not great.

Stayed here for a long weekend with friends, had lots of ups and downs. The food is decent, definitely worth the low price for all inclusive. But there were many times I tried something from the buffet and didn’t end up eating it because it tasted canned, chemically, or processed. The service was sometimes good (there were a couple bartenders we loved), and sometimes bad. We had some strange experiences with the restaurant staff where we were scolded for asking for water, or for moving tables to get away from screaming and crying children. I do not recommend this hotel at all if you don’t have kids. The amount of small children here caused absolute chaos at times, and made meal time seriously unpleasant. The location is great for beach and getting to Barcelona. Overall I would say if you’re looking for somewhere cheap this is a decent choice.

Great location. Swimming pool first class, I couldn't kick my kids out from there. Entertainments super. Food good. good choice of buffet style food. Staff great were helpful accept General manager. On her shift in restaurant on one of evenings service was completely down. At that night when we went for our dessert our table was cleaned including ours drinks and personal belongings when we back new customers was just about to sit down. After complain to manager we was told they think we left, left hats, jumper ,kids mugs , and few other things behind, we was sat down again and we got new drinks. Imagine my surprise when after checking out I was asked to pay for my extra drinks from that day. Miss general manager U better stay in office, I will give 5 stars if I will never meet U, leave service to your experience staff.

I read many reviews of this hotel before arriving and was very apprehensive if I'm honest, therefore I wanted to post a review that wouldn't freak out the next traveller. All in all we had a lovely time, the hotel fitted the criteria and would recommend to anyone after a hot and sunny holiday on a budget. My experience in order of events below: - Arrived late - Reception friendly and booked us in efficiently - Room - small but doesn't need to be any bigger, clean and tidy, aircon good but think it was on a schedule so a little warm at when we first got in, kettle and fridge but no actual products to make a drink (all inclusive booked so this was a little frustrating). The bathroom had an amazing shower, which was huge and had shampoo and conditioner provided. Drinks - were given 4 drinks tokens per room...hand one over to get a drink, take glass back for more until you're ready to ask for token back. Simple system that worked well to keep excess glasses on the tables. Bar super busy most of the time but efficient. No problem with drink flow throughout the whole day /evening (all inclusive 11am-11pm). Beach towels- €15 deposit per towel added to room card, returnable on exchange of towel at end of stay. Pools - Adult recommended pool quieter but does have children in it. Not a major issue, also 2 other pools to choose from that had slides, also a children's park etc. There were loads of sunbeds (variety of soft and hard beds) really good...clean and tidy everywhere. Entertainment - programme super busy for kids/adults throughout day and evening (didn't do much of it...short stay). Evening entertainment was great in particular the live 2 man band who were amazing....entertainment team great. Food - buffet hall clean and tidy, staff friendly. Food not out of this world but perfectly adequate for all inclusive buffet for the 2/3days...quality or presentation of food needs improvement and better salad bar. Lobby area - very grand looking...probably a fantastic looking and very grand hotel in its early days. Built up area around hotel which impacts the view. But hotel cannot help this and it didn't impact our stay as we didn't do much other than eat, chill and sunbathe. All staff very friendly throughout whole hotel. Hope this review is fair and helps the next traveller with their future booking.

Amazing hotel! Definitely a 4* Just got home and looking to book again! The Staff are amazing so polite and helpful, friendly and the hotel is spotless. We took our 2 1/2 year old and she loved it. Great pools, great food & drinks and fabulous entertainment staff!! Can't wait to come back. 😄 Also, a child hurt his head while we stayed there and the staff were amazing and so helpful, ambulance was called and arrived shortly on scene. English guests also helped out and in return the hotel gave my family some thank you gifts for our support to the family and staff as it was a distressing time. *The little boy was okay and just needed stitches and was only at the hospital a couple of hours. *** just please have insurance as ambulance staff did request this for the treatment and additional fees did need to be paid*** thank you again for our amazing first family holiday abroad and can't wait to see you next year! Laura, Mark and Olivia 😁

The strength of this place is the staff. From the entertainers to the cleaners to those working in the restaurant. Everyone was absolutely fantastic with my two boys and went out of their way to interact with them. If you have a family I would strongly recommend this hotel.

I won’t be going back. First issue is the reception, the staff are nice and polite. However, it took me almost an hour to check in. One person checking in around 15 families. Other staff just not helping. Seemed ridiculous. Second issue, the food. It is massively repetitive. It is nice and of decent quality. But it’s just the same things every day particularly for breakfast. Third issue, the snack bar. It is a bit of a joke. Only open 3 hours. The morning snacks are left over breakfast. The afternoon is left over dinner. You also have to be dressed and dry before enjoying a warmed up snack. You can’t take to your lounger etc. with kids it was just inconvenient. fourth issue, the restaurant setup. It’s a complete effort gettting a drink, no dispensing facility. So there is one bar and one person serving. You can imagine the time it takes to get a drink with your food. Fifth issue, the pool needs money my daughter found about 5/6 loose tiles that had come off, the grids around the pool are unsafe, so is some of the tiling. Pineda itself was nice enough, not much to do, but was a decent place. I would say the entertainment staff are great, without them it wouldn’t be the same. The cleaners are all lovely and polite. The drinks coupons wasn’t a huge issue for us, just the rest of it. I struggle to understand how this is a 4* hotel.

Just finished our week long stay here. Overall the hotel is nice. We stayed all inclusive for the week and it felt very restrictive. The pool and bar areas are very nice and the entertainment to go with it is also good. The food however wasn’t the best. Not bad at all just very lacking in variety and a lot of the food choices are confusing, got quite boring towards the end of our stay so would recommend looking for somewhere to eat out for a night or two. The rooms were good, kept clean with very adequate facilities, overall the hotel is a nice hotel but lacking in areas, considering it’s a 4* hotel I expect a bit more but it’s not bad by any means. The area surrounding the hotel is nice, local markets and shops and the beach is lovely with some great bars and overall good atmosphere. Overall would recommend staying there if some of the above don’t bother you as much, for an all inclusive holiday for a week by the pool and in the sun you certainly can’t go wrong!

This isn't a 4 star hotel. The staff are lovely, hard working and helpful. The food is good. The hotel is clean. The rooms are small and very basic. It is noisy, especially at night. The inclusive drinks are basic, nicer drinks you have to pay for. Our 4 year old loved it as she wanted to stay in the pool all day. The staff work hard and the entertainment for the kids was good.

  • 3/5 Pieter-Jan B. 7 months ago on Google
Room was nice, we had the deluxe room for 4 people. Kids had a bunk bed which they enjoyed very much. The hallway was noisy and the walls were made of paper as each movement around the building you could hear. The pool was a good size, the slides perfect size for kids (5&7). The animation was very friendly for our kids, they enjoyed joining the mini club and dances. The food was okey, not much variation. Annoyingly the all inclusive option is quite restrictive. It was basically ‘full pension’ type of all in. The people at the desk were very friendly, some bartenders weren’t though.

Really good family hotel. Lots of things to keep the kids entertained. Pools are great, the staff are amazing and work very hard. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The food is OK. There is always a lot of selection but as they are cooking for alot of people, some of the options look questionable sometimes. Overall, a good holiday.

  • 5/5 lisa m. 5 months ago on Google
Really good hotel really modern. Exellent all inclusive food and selection of food and drink. Entertainment is 💯 and the pool in both sides were good. Overall the hotel is amazing. The area around is not as good not much to do around as it's Derrick and empty and closed restaurants and bars. There is a train station which takes to to the next island harbour and barsonlona. There is a street where you can get medication and little shops to buy souvenirs.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Pineda Splash in Pineda de Mar, and I am very pleased with my experience. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating to all my needs, and the activities/animation were suitable for all ages, making it a great family holiday. Furthermore, the hotel is pet friendly and adheres to a strict sustainability policy, which was very impressive. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

I would never recommend this hotel at all! What is being announced is certainly not the same as the reality. Initially, I had an 18m2 bedroom instead of the 23m2 reserved at their site. I made many requests before they finally granted me in the second day the room I reserved. There is no deluxe room as they said, this hotel does not deserve 4* I think 3* is enough please check out the pictures below. To be fair, thanks to Lisa from the reception who was very helpful and the ladies from the mini club, the kids were very excited about the activities.

Wow. What can I say. Me, Myles and my best friend aka Daddy Dom visited this unreal resort. Quality food, quality times. We went to celebrate my grandad who died, he was the oldest man in the world. It was his fave place. I loved the kids pool and my dad loved the food options. The sun was blazing and so was I if you catch my drift. Staff friendly and well dressed. Boom time buffet. Can't wait to visit again in August 2024. This place makes all your dreams come true. Best wishes Roberto Cleary. Aka sick guy.

The staff at Pineda Splash are absolutely wonderful, so hardworking and always willing to help. The hotel pool areas are 2 very different vibes, one is lovely and chill, and the other is perfect for families with children who love activities and pool slides. The lifeguards are very attentive at both pool areas. The food is okay, and despite being a veggie my daughter was able to find lots to eat at each meal. The location is fab as it is so close to the train station. A trip to the next door village Calella is a must! Reception does often have a long queue as people tend to all go at the same time and in big groups, and the staff are very thorough with everything so it can take a little longer, but there are lovely sofas to wait on and water provided so that makes it much easier. The rooms are simple but as we didn't spend much time inside that is perfect. The housekeeping staff keep everything pristine which is very much appreciated. There are plenty of activities in the evenings that you can dive into or stay away from - there is no pressure. *handy hint, there is a little corner shop near to the hotel, very reasonably priced, and sells all sorts of things from groceries to bikinis!

A fantastic family friendly hotel. I have never experienced such dedicated and hardworking staff. Every interaction was professional and friendly from the bar staff to the kitchen staff and especially the entertainment staff. There are activities all day for both children and adults. And live entertainment in the evening ranging from live music to acrobatics and brilliant Disney show. All of which was lead by a young man called James who was so full of energy and had the kids hooked. The pools are well maintained with plenty of sun loungers. The hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained. The food was good but would benefit from a few more choices for children (maybe some chicken nuggets every once in a while). The bar was well stocked with booze and actual branded soft drinks. The hotel is situated in a residential area which is fine but there wasn't much around to explore (that we found). The beach is around a 5 minute walk. All in all a great hotel that I cannot recommend highly enough.

The hotel wasn't massive but was clean and well maintained. Rooms were rather small, particularly for 5 of us. The food was nice although a little repetitive and limited for those with specific food requirements. The staff were amazing, particularly the entertainment team. My kids had the best time as a result of the staff who went above and beyond to make sure they had the best time.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Pineda Splash in Pineda de Mar and I was very pleased with my experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was super fantastic, nothing can be better!!! The room was cleaned every day. The pools are great, but I prefered to spend my sunny hours at the beach which is just 5 min of walking, and it is really nice! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value for their money.

Excellent service, Room's were good in size, staff were very helpful and definitely kept our grandchildren busy. Food was plentiful and a good selection, I'm a fussy eater but found the choices where very varied. Would definitely holiday here again. Just want to say thank you all for a fantastic time. One of the hotel holiday guides MARTA was extremely helpful in organising our trip.

Staff are fantastic. Great place for families. If travelling without children, it can feel a little chaotic, which is to be expected. Management needs to consider providing an adults only section on the restaurant and by the pool. Other than that, it’s a great hotel where everyone makes you feel welcome.

We visited this hotel for a week and it is a nice and clean hotel. Decent modern rooms and always cleaned. Outdoor pools and slides and entertainment for kids. Staff are always willing to help with great customer service. The drinks bar is good and entertainment shows in the evening. The food and desserts are lovely, we always had someone at the door who always helped us known as Afzal Ahmed he was always willing to help us and was very polite. If you have any problem in the restaurant he will always help you. However, the negative impact was the air conditioning. As this is warm place and I had asked the staff to put the air conditioning on and they would not allow as they have a specific season in July time for that facility. They did not even give a

What can I say about this hotel? Absolutely brilliant! We stayed all inclusive, and had the best week ever here. The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating. The cleaners were amazing! My brother had an epileptic fit and cut his head, the cleaners came in and helped as if he was family , so lovely! Everything was modern and fresh. I give a 10/10 for everything. The food got a little boring after a few days but that’s fine because everything else was so amazing. Would recommend to any family A** Went in sept and weather was fantastic :)
