I would have given 5 stars if I had dined outside, but based on my experience inside, I cannot. Upon arrival, I observed one of the chefs frequently coughing into his hands and not changing gloves afterward, which was a bit off-putting. Towards the end of our meal, there was noticeable sneezing and coughing coming from the kitchen. The food itself was enjoyable, but the overall experience was marred by these hygiene concerns.

A very popular sushi Restaurant in Blanes, very broad menu with good range of sushi to choose from. I am surprised to see bao (包) in the menu and as a fellow Taiwanese, I have to try. We ordered both flavours, prawn and pork, and traditionally, we only have braised pork bao in Taiwan, however, I prefer the prawn bao over pork one in Akuma. (Not gonna lie, both baos are good, but as I am more familiar with the traditional pork bao, I have higher standard for that one, that’s why) In general, sushi flavour is good, but it didn’t wow me, for the price, I would expect a bit more, tbh. Would still recommend tho.

It was one of the best sushi restaurants of my life! The quality is amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful. The place is not very big so I recommend to book in advance if possible :) There is not a big variety of dishes but the dishes in the menu are very sophisticated, elaborated and creative and they are REALLY good. 😍😍👏🏼👏🏼🔝🔝 Highly recommended!!!!

Best place we ate in blanes. Don't know much about how to order japanese but we tried a variety of stuff from sushi to the waygu and all was simply lovely.

Best sushi you will find in the whole Costa Brava! Two years ago we visited Akuma for the first time, it was an amazing experience!! Everything is very well worked out and the sushi has a lot of details (as you can see in the pictures). Yesterday we went back after two years and they even improved it!!! It’s even better and tastier that the last time!!! LOVED IT! Thank you guys for the great afternoon and see you soon!!!

The salmon sashimi and tuna roll were not very good. The tuna roll was simple and there was barely any fish in each piece. The quality and flavor of the salmon was not good. But we really liked the akuma roll!

The sushi was really good (a bit overpriced in my opinion). We were disappointed because we ordered a salad where the main ingredient was mango and they served without it! When I asked the waiter he told us that the mango was over, but they served it anyways without telling us anything...the worst was that after that, we listened the same waiter explaining the menu to a couple next to us and he didn't say anything about the lack of ingredients, in fact they where offering food specifying they include mango. Eventually, they charged us the same price for this salad that was basically lettuce with wakame. I mean, the food was good and the place is quite nice, but when you pay for €€€ restaurant you don't expect this kind of things.

It's not bad, but overpriced. Too many sauces on the sushi in order to hide a blandness to the overall taste as well as a a rather poor wine selection. Avoid the 'lounge' area as there is a terrible stink coming from the toilet area. Should be better.

Excellent food and service sometimes a little fast bringing the next plate or removing a plate. But quality as always perfect.

Scam. Terrible. Stay away. If you ever ate sushi,you will be disappointed. Ridiculously overpriced. Never in our lives tried soooo salty sushi. Soya sauce is extremely salty. Must admit serving looks good. Nevertheless : stay away,not worth it at all at all.

We did not anticipate stumbling on some of the best sushi we’ve ever had while in Blanes…then we did! Wagyu, smoked salmon, and spicy tuna rolls all done to perfection, each with a unique touch, or two! Even the salad was great and the pork boa buns were another absolute surprise, they were amazing! In a sea of Spanish restaurant options we highly recommend this change of pace. 👍🏻👍🏻

Nigiri salmon wasn't very good, all else great (Bruce Lee, Spicy Salmon, california, Smoke salmon, salmon rice bowl was juicy, Prawn Gyoza good 👌
