Wonderful experience seeing the garden. I did not know I have to get tickets for the house tour weeks in advance. They are timed and only allow a limited amount of people in a time. Suggest buying tickets at least a month in advance or you will have to go through a high price tour company. Separate tickets for the garden and the home. The garden alone was worth the visit!

This was my favorite Dali museum out of the three! We went early in the morning on a Tuesday morning and loved the views from Dali’s personal Seaside mansion. This gives you a very close glimpse into the artist’s and his wife’s life together. Make sure to buy tickets beforehand! This was a very easy drive from Fugeres.

(Translated by Google) Interesting visit. It is a spectacular house and it is always interesting to be able to visit first-hand where such important figures in the history of the country have lived and how they have lived. Miss any anecdote or more information from the guides. In one of the rooms there was a projection that did not work. Somewhat expensive for the tour that is. But as a curiosity the visit is fine. (Original) Interesante visita.

A must stop for any fan of Salvador Dali’s life and work. Get intimate with his life work by visiting his house in Port Lligat. You will learn so much. Do the house tour and visit the olive garden. Beautiful views from the top. A magical place for sure.

Must see! Mandatory to book the visit in advance. We’ve planed too visit the Theatre Dali Museum in Figueres and due to time availability, we decided to visit the house of the artist before. Unfortunately we didn’t planed right and didn’t booked tickets in advance. The result was that the day was sold out. Still we managed to visit the gardens and exterior (separate ticket), which was available. The pool is also included in this tour. It tooled us aprox 1h and it gave us an idea regarding the house interior. It definitely worth to see at least the exterior if not the full house. As Dali himself stated, one cannot understand the artist works, if one hasn’t visited the artist nest.

What a cool experience! We visited the house right after we visited Dali’s museum in Figures and a quick trip to Cadaqués, so this really completed the entire experience! The tour was a little less an an hour. The house is super interesting and quirky, and the views are absolutely amazing. Worth it!!!

If you are Cadaqués, you definitely have to visit Dali's House. The tour was amazing. We didn't expect that somebody will guide us and give interesting information. We were surprised and just loved it. I would recommend to everyone to see and learn more about Dali.

When you go inside this crazy house you can feel the genius of Dali. The house is like when he left it. It’s very nice to visit. I discover the Dalí intimate. You can see some art of Dalí also. You can visit the house even if you don’t know nothing about Salvatore Dalí. You must book entrance in advance.

I feel like it had more potential - they could have made the whole tour QR code audio guided. He seems like an interesting character so I’m sure it could have been packed with fun facts and his life story. They have mini QR snippets here and there but literally like 1-3 sentences that hardly offers value. Watch a documentary about him beforehand to get a foundation first because you won’t be taught anything about his life Eg where he grew up/where he’s from/ how he died/his career. It’s cool to see the quirky house and garden. And the little bay that it’s in is cute. But definitely unmet potential.

This place is super interesting and a must see if you’re in cadaques. There is the tour of the house and also a garden that is full of interesting facts, dalis art and some pop art collection. There are also actual footage of Dali that makes the house even more interesting

When in Spain, visit Dali! The view in front of Dali's house is no wonder why he was such a great artist! Full of scenic view. It's a bit of walk of ups & downs from Cadaques center but worth taking one. The house is now a museum surrounded by a small cafe, a washroom and an art gallery.

(Translated by Google) DALI TRIANGLE - SECOND ANGLE: PORTLLIGAT Unlike Pubol, this place is much more crowded, more popular and more visited. And one more thing: if the Gala castle in Pubol is a place that feels completely feminine, then here it is a masculine place ... If you arrive by car, at the Av. Salvador Dali and Carr. St. Baldiri, next to the church of the same name, there is a free parking where you can leave the car, and further to the village and to the museum about a kilometer downhill on foot - not tiring, but a gradual approach to the Museum sets you up for further perception of its exposition and the life of the GENIUS. While waiting for the excursion, you can walk along the embankment to the "Gala boat", there is where to eat or buy souvenirs. But, just in order to fully visit the museum, you need to pre-order a ticket for a specific date and time of the tour. The groups are small - 8 people, which, apparently, is due to the small size of the premises of the house-museum, the many passages and stairs. Maybe sometimes you get lucky (just like us: there were a couple of free places for the excursion "in an hour"; but for now we walked along the shore). The ticket price for an adult is € 11 (for me - for a pensioner € 8). The excursion was mainly English-speaking with a switch to German, as the group included a German family. After the tour, you can wander around the beautiful garden of the museum for as long as you like, enjoying the small forms made by a GENIUS or admiring the surrounding landscapes. The object is a MANDATORY VISIT. Further - see the photo. Salvador Dali и Carr. It’s a great place. It’s a true home where you can feel less madness of Dali but more everyday life of the artist and his wife. They lived here and it’s obvious. But you can still see his amazing flair and talent. However the system to buy and get the tickets is weird. Even if you buy it online (which i strongly recommend) you have to arrive 30 mins in advance to pick them up and wait for 30 mins to start the visit which doesn’t make any sense. We were here in winter and there were no places to stay a bit and drink coffee or have any snacks. 30 mins of walking around is not so cool. Meanwhile the museum itself is worth it. It’s the third spot out of three museums within the Dalí triangle. I would say that it’s not so surprising and expressive in comparison with others but it helps to understand how Dali felt the world around.

Buy tickets in advance, well worth trip. Super interesting space, good compliment to museum. Cadaqués right next door is beautiful as well. Overall you won’t see many of his paintings but more of his mindset and thinking

If you are Dali fan it’s definitely worth visiting this place. The house is rather small (and cute), the surrounding area is very nice and charming, especially the city. Very smooth service and polite people that speak few languages. I recommend buying ticket way in advance. I didn’t have mine, but because it was middle of the week, I was by myself I managed to get it on the spot.

What a wonderful and interesting place! The Dalis must have had so much fun living there. We sure had fun experiencing the house and grounds and imagining life there during it's hey day.

This little town has so much character I just wish the tour guide matched the spirit of it and the house. It’s a rushed tour and since we were mixed with a Spanish group we were second in terms of left over time. Had more fun exploring alone and I took a Dali egg picture that Im sure would make him proud. Don Q.

It is the coast of Spain. It is Cadaqués. And it is Gala and Salvador Dalí. Seriously, you cannot possibly go wrong! Absolutely amazing - pay the utmost attention to all the details and still don't try to make sense, because this is not the purpose. Just feel the region, feel the vibes of another time, another place, another mind, and playfully enjoy!

Customer service only review: extremely rude, unorganized, and unprofessional. Had an appt at 230 and showed right on time. Would NOT accept virtual tix. Went to the box office and was told we were late due to the printing. Had to wait an hour and a half for another “tour”. Prime French box office gentlemen was egregious. Do better Dali House!

A military organization! To get in the museum, you need to pre-book online. Then you need to collect the entrance 30 minutes before the time you booked. And you have to enter right in time or you will never enter. The law is the law. I would agree with the unfriendliness of the staff I read in other comments Definitely the leisure part of visiting a museum has been forgotten in the whole organization To visit this house you hence need to be very well organized and follow the instructions you receive by email to the letter (Catalan speaker recommended as I received mine in Catalan). Swiss watches highly recommended!

A fantastic window into Dali's life and thoughts. His studio is wonderful, once you see some of his large pieces at the museum you'll understand his movable easel. Make sure to have reservations or be ready to wait and get there early.

Highly recommend visiting the Dali House Museum. His home has been preserved except the books and paintings which are now located in the Dali Museum in Figueres. Make sure to buy tickets well in advance. You will need to arrive 30min before your booking otherwise you will wait for next time allocation. The drive to Cadaqués can get take 1 hr due to traffic so take this into consideration.

We loved this house tour! Dali did a lot of curious things and this house is full of interesting things to see. The people there are very particular that you have to pick up the tickets 30 minutes early and you can only go in the house exactly when your ticket says. There is a delicious open air restaurant about a 2 minute walk from the Dali house, right next to the bay. Check it out.

A neat and interesting look into Dalí’s life and how it influenced him as an artist. They were quite strict on the time to enter, but did ask to arrive half an hour before, so plan on wandering around the estate a bit before the tour. We did end up spending much longer than we anticipated since we enjoyed it more than we thought we would. What a fun house!

Really fascinating architectural design with some interesting Dali features (sometimes a bit disturbing or odd). My kids didn't really appreciate his artwork inside the house but it was an interesting tour in a beautiful coastal setting.

Entrance fee is 19€, but online 1€ cheaper, better to buy in advance, especially in summer. Visits are possible in small groups, ~10 persons. Guido speak English, Spanish, Catalan, French (not audio guide). You’ll get a map for your tour. Video about Dali’s life in the end of your visit, optional to see, language Catalan 🤦🏻‍♀️ We enjoyed our visit, recommend

Very touching and intimate to see where the genius and his muse lived for most of their lives. Most is (said to be) untouched. Awesome details, such as the mirror in which Dali could see the sun rise from his bed, the installation to put the paintings in place, the tiny chairs that Gala collected, the J&J baby powder in one of the bathrooms... The tiny houses, gardens, terraces, swimming pool and sights are all surprisingly rustic and romantic.

Dali's home at Llobrigat is a wonderful experience with as much out there stuff as one would expect. A number of cottages joined together, it houses an amazing array of items in each room. • 4/5 Maria R. 4 years ago on Google
Beautiful setting on the cove of a sleepy fisherman's town. A home with a very purposeful design, from the setting of Dali's ateliers as a function of light (the bright sun room, the dark room, and the medium light room). The home of a very eccentric man is also very eccentric. gardens, bedroom, sun atelier, and wardrobe are fascinating places. Other rooms, like the medium and dark light workshops, Gala's sitting room, and the pool area are a bit strong on the kitsch.

(Translated by Google) Anyone who wants to learn a little more about Salvador Dalí and his many years of life together with his muse and wife Gala, and who would like to see it, MUST come here in any case. In contrast to the museum in Figueres, where the main focus is on his extensive work, here you can see what the everyday life of the famous couple was like. Among other things, such small details are interesting - such as For example, that Dalí had a large mirror built into one of the walls in exactly the same way to allow the evening sun to shine better into the house and especially on the bed. In any case, you should pre-order the tickets online, otherwise you could be unlucky and not get access, as the number of tickets is very limited every day. If you liked this house - which, by the way, Dalí did not set foot in after Gala's death, which is why there are still unfinished paintings there, which he therefore no longer finished - you should also visit the castle in Púbolins Take a look in which the two also lived and which gives further insights into private life.
