A pleasant and entertaining museum, dedicated to exposing the use of the Ter River in the textile industries of the area, in the last century. With reasonable prices, temporary exhibitions, activities... The visit can be complemented with a walk along the river, which is next door.

Museum dedicated to the textile world (machinery, looms, spinning tools...) Very interesting and worth a visit. Everything is very well explained. Recommended to go there.

A must visit not only if you visit Osona, but in any case that you want to know the industrial (especially textile), entrepreneurial and working reality of Catalonia since the industrial revolution. A spectacular museum, with a unique industrial canal in Catalonia, where the turbines still work today. I recommend it 100% to everyone. The attention of the museum staff is 10 out of 10. They do guided tours of the museum and the town if requested, and it's well worth it. Manlleu has a lot to show.

Spectacular, guided tour, you enter a thread factory. You know and see how the water pressure of the Ter was used to move the machines throughout the factory. And on the human side, you feel and understand the sacrifices of the people who worked the long hours. From Monday to Saturday, 10 to 12 hours a day.... Don't miss a visit to the upper floors. Where you can see, in cinema, recreations based on the way of living at that time.

Open day, with my beautiful girlfriend, we enjoyed the dramatized visit, we really liked it, we recommend it without a doubt, the guide is great. Very nice museum, parking next to it, wc, souvenir shop, nice atmosphere. If you can, take a walk around the Ter River area, which is very beautiful.

Museo del Ter, an essential museum to understand the industrial history of Catalonia and the rest of Spain. They have an old Renault fire truck, looms, industrial machines, and the most interesting thing is that the hydraulic machine that gave power to the looms and machines still works, they even put it into operation if you ask them.

Very interesting. The splendid guided tour that Jordi gave us allowed us to know and understand the operation of the textile factories, the social organization, the conflicts... that occurred during the industrialization of the Ter and Catalonia.

(Translated by Google) It has been a pleasure to visit the museum. We went there with a former textile co-worker, we had worked together at Filatures Gossypium in the 90s, we know the subject well. Congratulations on the assembly! We made the theatrical visit, led by an actor who represents Quim, the ghost of a spinning worker, who perfectly tells the story of the operation of the factory. We were especially impressed to see the hydraulic turbine in operation. We hadn't had a chance to see any of them running, the ones we've met were already electric. You can be satisfied with this work that people enjoy and appreciate!

Me encantó

(Translated by Google) Located in an old factory, the museum has three floors. The first is dedicated to the evolution of the textile factories in the area, the second continues to develop the subject and also talks about the theaters of Manlleu. The third (the most empty) talks about rivers. Notably, they show a Fontaine turbine in operation: they start it, connect it to a muddy and put into operation 4 machines of the SXIX. Although the demonstration part is spectacular for young and old, I don’t think it’s the best place to go with kitsch, it’s easy for them to get bored, as the museum is adult-oriented.

(Translated by Google) In this museum you realize the poor working conditions that women, men and children had who, at six, seven, and eight years old, already did it like their parents. It must be recognized that this textile factory on the banks of the River Ter was a positive change for the region. In this museum they explain it very well.

(Translated by Google) Curious. There is a dramatized visit that makes it more enjoyable. The only thing is that the turbine did not work and you could not see the machines in operation. (Original) Curioso.

(Translated by Google) A luxury heritage center, a 21st century textile factory with turbines that are still functional, with a varied educational display explaining the operation, management and social life that the industrial era generated. There is also another part dedicated to the natural ecosystem of the river. Special note to the kindness of the responsible staff, from the management to the reception, who put real passion in this work Highly recommended for educational visits, groups interested in social history, technology and nature, and families who want to enjoy this area of singular beauty, away from mass tourism. (Translated by Google) The museum has three well-differentiated themes. About the yarn industry in the area has a magnificent museification. About life in these same days also has a great quality. Finally there is a small section on Mediterranean rivers and their conservation. Good quality but too short.
