This place is incredible, and a must see. The ticket price is reasonable, and the audio tour is great. Fun fact: In the USA, we use the term “gaudy” to describe something flashy, or colorful, well, that term comes from this wonderful architect, Antonio Gaudi. You’re welcome :)

Very beautiful building where Gaudí used to live for almost 20 years, located inside the Park Güell. There’s not much to see inside the Building

Such a whimsical and Incredible park, make sure you bring lots of water. There were wild parrots all over! I love birds.. Gaudí was so ahead of his time, his home was beautiful, along with all the other structures in the park. It was PACKED!! Wear comfortable shoes, it's all walking and alot of steps.

Was a very house, with very lovely architecture, was very busy when we went and would recommend buying tickets at the ahead of time on the website. It’s located in a very lovely park with lots to do and see. Great place for families and kids. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

My wife and I took a look at the Gaudi House Museum, which is located in Park Güell. The museum is the residence where the great Anthony Gaudi lived for almost 20 years. A collection of furniture and objects designed by Gaudi is now on display here. Very nicely arranged.

It was nice to see where Gaudi lived for about 20 years of his life. I paid 5.5 euros to get in. It is a small place and there is not a lot to see, but I liked it to do once in a lifetime. The furniture is nice to look at, although you cannot sit on it.

It isn't expensive to visit at €5.50 per person, but there isn't a lot to see. We had gone around everything in around 15 minutes but did linger longer as it was lovely and cool and the temperature outside was 37°c.

It was okay. I would go if you need to burn an hour or so. It’s rather inexpensive to get in, there’s just not much there. There are much better Gaudí museums/buildings to visit.

This museum explains Gaudi's life and projects. The park had no informative boards posted and the map online is not informative but the museum is well worth the few euros to understand Gaudi.

An opportunity to tour a complete house built as "a model home" at Park Guell (originally meant to become a 60 houses resident project). It ended up being the home of Gaudi himself, where he lived for almost two decades. This is an opportunity to learn a bit about Gaudi's daily routine and the humble life he chose to live despite his success, as well as to see some of the furniture and other items he designed.

  • 5/5 Davis D. J. 4 years ago on Google
I am not much of an architecture buff, I'm much more interested in ancient ruins and monuments but for those that are this is one of the rare places in the world where a city has a star architect that has been elevated to great heights. I was moved by how simple his own needs and desires were when it came to his personal effects and room. It could not have been more of a contradiction from the ostentatious nature of his design.

  • 5/5 Paul C. 4 years ago on Google

Parc guell must go in Barcelona with beautiful architecture though it two residential buildings were built but this place is good to be at sunset

  • 5/5 Jordan V. 4 years ago on Google
I visited the house in December 2016. There was a great interactive feature which showed the house how Gaudi would have seen it. The architecture is unique, being quirky and funny in some places, and breathtaking in others. It is small, but you need to take your time during the two hour tour to really appreciate the designs. Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) It was interesting to know the house of a genius like Gaudí. It is located in the Park Güell in Barcelona. In this place it was planned to build 60 houses by order of the Catalan industrialist Eusebi Güell; he asked Berenger, a Gaudí collaborator, to do the project. But because he did not have the title of architect, Gaudi signed the project. However, only two houses were built. The work was carried out between 1903 and 1905 and when it was finished it began to be sold. Nobody bought it, Gaudí decided to do it. He lived here with his father, who died the same year, and a niece who also died in 1912. He continued here until 1925 and then went to the Expiatory Temple of La Sagrada Familia for a few months until he died. He donates his house to this institution, which has four floors. It shows his personal belongings and also furniture that he had designed for Casa Batlló, Casa Calvet, Casa Milá, Casa Vicens and the Crypt of Colonia Güell. It is important to reflect on the stupid death that this creator had, being run over by a tram and not only that, but being mistaken for a beggar.

We noticed a discrepancy that when we show the Gaudi House Museum tickets at the entrance of Psrk Guell, we were automatically allowed into the Park Guell which we actually paid for separately but not asked for. So we could have toured the park after visiting the house museum. The runners and locals are allowed into the park without any identification.

Gaudis house he lived for 20 years. Very fun history tour, short and a self learning experience. Takes about 10-15 min to walk through the house. 30 if you read everything. It was only 5 euro.

  • 5/5 王文龙 4 years ago on Google
It is a simple house. Considering its ticket price, it is good enough. I went there as I bought the ticket of this house together with the ticket of la Sagrada Família. If Parc Güell is on your plan, this house is a good place to visit. If not, as it is not that easy to reach by tourists (it is on a hill), it is somewhere you can skip. If you finally decided to go there, it is better to buy the ticket together with ticket of la Sagrada Família. It is cheaper.

I stopped by here since Park Guëll had sold out Got to see some of the designs of Gaudi and learn a bit about him. It’s worth the €5.50. walk to the house/museum through the outdoor architecture. Plan to spend about 45min between the 1st and 2nd floors. After the museum, walk past the palm trees to hear the noisy monk parquets, and glance over the entrance to see a view of Barcelona over the park. Public transportation buses can be caught either side of the park with an easy walk.

  • 3/5 Lisa A. 2 years ago on Google

Beautiful! The whole park was impressive (around Gaudi's house there was a garden arch with yellow, fragrant flowers and there were beautiful birds too). There is a lot to see (take your time) and the entrance is not expensive. They will ask you to pay using your phone- there is free wifi if you don't have internet. Tip: make sure you have a good phone, when you buy your tickets online (you will need to scan a QR code then to pay online).

You have to buy tickets for the Museum, but they are cheap (about €5). You can't miss to visit it, it was the Gaudí's home for over 20 years, and you could see where he lived and the way he lived. You could watch a video about his life and the story of the park, which really worth it.

The place is okay.. for a stroll around but there isn’t a lot of architecture and you firstly have to pay to enter the park and the pay again to go to the museums in the park!! The plants and nature is beautiful but it’s always very full and somehow the tickets are always sold out. So I recommend buying ahead of time.

On the very Same streets that he beautified, he was hit by a tram while on his daily walk (Not sure what to make of that!). Perhaps thats why the church is a building site until now.. lovely food

A fine house with a rich history in Barcelona, Güell, and Gaudi. There is a spartan decor and a few good features. There were no waiting time and not many people inside. They have free WiFi, which is needed to buy the tickets! Not sure it was worth the entrance fee, though...
