I was a bit hesitant to visit the museum but I don’t regret visiting it at all! It’s a small museum that tells you the story of how they used to live in the past. You can find magical diorama of scenes showing you Cordoba from the past. It’s very well made! You can also access the top of the tower to see Cordoba from the top. The only downside was the audioguide that wasn’t working very well.

Great place to visit after crossing the bridge to get a beautiful panorama view of Cordoba! The entry for adults is € 4.50, with reduced prices for pensioners, students and children. I definitely think it's worth it. You get some nice insights into the history of Cordoba and how it developed. The audio guide is good, but a bit flimpse. The red button system is quite useless, because it makes you jump to everyone in the room, rather then to start the recording from the beginning. But definitely good place to visit!

Museum was very dated and the audioguide dry to say the least. Models were good though, as was the rooftop view.

The museum was really interesting. I got to learn about the culture of al-Andalus, and it had a lovely view of the Roman Bridge and Cordoba. You have an audio guide that tells you what you are looking at as well.

Medieval tower that used to guard the entrance to the bridge. It is now a small museum. Nicely restored and kept up.

Nice museum, however audioguide plays music for 3-4 minutes before started speaking, it’s like you are on the phone and ‘your call is very important to us’, however exhibit on is really good and guide is actually funny, so definetely worth a visit and it’s really cheap place. As extra bonus you get a rooftop view on the city

Small museum covering the history of Andalusia and Cordoba, €4.5 entrance including audio tour (not available separately). Worth the visit for a general background, cool down from crossing the bridge and to have the beautiful view over the bridge. Toilet downstairs (stairs). Watch out for your head when coming up the stairs 🤕😉

Worth the fee for the view up top. The audio tour is nice, but very slow. They have some very nice models of the buildings nearby.

This is such an unexpected museo! Such a wonderful little place. Very affordable museum has free audioguide and beautiful models of the Alhambra and Mezquita. I learned so much about the wisdom of the Arab ancients and the daily life in Al Andaluz! The view from the top is beautiful. What a gem!! Do yourself a favor and don't miss it.

Torre de la Calahorra is a fortified gate of Islamic origin in the historic center of Córdoba. My wife and I stayed in a hotel on the other side of the river and enjoyed a beautiful view of the tower and the bridge that leads to the old town.

Cordoba is a tower located at the southern end of the Roman bridge. An old defensive tower of Muslim origin was remodeled and fortified in the 14th century by Enrique II of Trastamara. The tower can be visited and houses a small Andalusian museum. Various things are on display inside. The entrance fee was pretty cheap. There is an audio-visual about the history of the city and several models on daily life in Muslim times. There are also two copies of the Alhambra in Granada and the Mezquita in Córdoba. From the highest part, the view of both the Roman bridge and the mosque and the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos is magnificent. Climbing to the top, you will be faced with an excellent view.

I am giving three stars because the staff there was very polite and welcoming, and the view from the tower is pretty. However, I find the whole live-museum concept as executed here to be rather tedious. I'd be much happier to just read the information, rather than listen to not very high quality slow paced recordings, which try perhaps a bit too hard and unfortunately not in a good way.

Walk across the bridge, pay the small fee, and walk up to the top of this tower. Fantastic views of Córdoba and the Mezquita-Catedral, and the Roman bridge.

Not sure if due to COVID or other reasons but it is closed, so my opinion is only about the outside. It is a beautiful tower in a very nice place over the river near the Roman bridge. Totally worth the walk 😊

Interesting. Definitely worth checking out. Given it's price and size I would say make it a must on your trip particularly given its focus on andalucían contributions to the seeds of the Renaissance

Merece la pena. You'll have a kind of mini speaker to listen history of Córdoba in different rooms. You can also go upstairs and see Córdoba from the top of tower. Nice visit!!

Probably one of the best museum experiences I had in Cordoba! Absolutley loved this history - each floor had a different vibe and I learned so much! Highly recommend!

Only if you have enough time left for it! The main points of attraction being of course, the Mesquita, the Alcazar, and the narrow, stunningly flowered streets of the old city. So if you stay at least 2 full days in Cordoba, this is a good choice.

This was surprisingly good! And for the price! Lots to see, interactive, immersive and very well curated. I found it fun to learn about that historical period of Cordoba

A massive structure on the path to the city. Perfect composition along with the ancient bridge and mosque - cathedral in the background.

Beautiful - takes about an hour audio guide sucks.

A must see if you are in Cordoba. Definitely listen to the audio tour in order to understand the history of the Moorish culture and significance of the diaromas and artifacts. Loved the balance of histories shared between Jewish, Muslim and Christian culture as told by Maimonides, Alfonso X El Sabio, Ibn Arabi and Averroes. And definitely climb to the top in order to see spectacular views of the city. Entire visit took less than 1.5 hours. As a Muslim - made me feel proud to learn about the accomplishments of Moorish culture and my Muslim heritage!

The models of the Mezquita-Catedral and the Alhambra were really cool! Some audio guide points were meant for a group instead of individuals, so a lot of times one would be listening from the middle of a narrative rather than from the start.

Have to pay to get in and did not do that. The building, like the bridge is far too much restored and looks new, has no charm

A normal simple tower at the end of a Roman bridge. Of course if you are in Cordoba, after having visited the cathedral and the alcazar, you can walk till here to watch it 10minutes.

However, the place become more crowded as the sunset approach. But sadly, We came there in the evening, so the place is already closed.

Really good museum. Kind staff and audio guide included which is so sensible. Well worth the money. Some of the models they have in there , like for instance that of the Alhambra, are quite lovely. Lovely view from the top. Dirty loo though.

Small museum about Islamic history. Likely targeted for children and young teens since content isn't too substantial.
