We visited Calella for the Iron man and stayed here in our Camper vans as was recommended We stayed on level 6 which is flat with good views but to get these views the trade off is it’s on a very steep lung busting hill. There is a train that runs up and down to the great pool at the top fron 9am -8pm but we got back later most nights so walked it lol. We were here for 8 nights and all staff were helpful and shower/toilet blocks were clean. It’s position is good with a 20 min walk left into Calella and the same to Sant Pol in the other direction and both have good train links to Barcelona etc. we ate in the restaurant and the food was good and there is also a supermarket on site and a beach very near the reception area. NEGATIVE’s Only the lungs busting when walking up the hill but the camp can’t be blamed for that as views compensate

Sitio agradable, es grande pero todo hace una cuesta, tiene un trenet que te sube y te baja, super bien. La piscina tb esta bien, tiene dos, pequeña para críos y otra más grande, con xiriguito en la piscina que está bastante bien. Seguro repetiré

Super camping, avec une vue magnifique situé entre mer et montagne

We stayed at this campsite in our bell tent for 12 days in July-August. It was absolutely fantastic! We had the best time. The campsite is fully equipped with everything you need and lots of shade. We also hired a huge fridge which was invaluable. The facilities are clean and modern and the shop has freshly baked bread. There is also some really good entertainment at the campsite bar. There is a daily mini-train "GuaGua" that takes you up and down the camp site, as this campsite is on a huge hill it's essential if you want to go to the top to the pool etc. The nearby beach Playa Roca Grossa is STUNNING! The only way to reach the camp site is by train to Sant Pol or Calella and a 15-20 mins walk or a taxi ride. No buses stop at the campsite except for an evening service 5-8pm approximately. We would totally come back again! 💯 recommend!

We only had lunch at the restaurant, but it was very good, menu only 13.50 euro with 3 courses, fish and local vine. The camping looks amazing for the price and there is direct path to a wonderful cala. Recommended!

Our family of 4 has spent nearly 3 weeks in Bungalow of Roca Grossa. It was quite big and well organized camping, with very friendly staff. I was only missing a washing machine in our part of the camping. There are in total 2 but walking all the way with the stuff to wash wasn't the best. The camping is attached to a lovely clean sandy beach, great for kids. The only missing think is at least a little bar or restaurant on the beach but we have organized ourselves quite well:-). If you are deciding if to go, be ready for bit of more excersise as all the camping is on the rocks and you will be kind of climbing every day. But we have enjoyed it and I believe it wasn't our last visit :-). Thank you Roca Grossa for lovely holidays!

Estaba caminando por la zona y me apeteció comer y beber unas copas, quería también aprovechar a cargar un poco el móvil ya que no tenia batería y al momento de hablar con el camarero me ha dicho que no tenían servicio eléctrico. Al final me enfadé con ganas de no volver nunca mas, porque no puede ser que no te dejen cargar el movil. Informó!! Que con lo que yo pago por lo que vaya a consumir debe estar incluido los servicios. La próxima vez nos van a cobrar por ir al baño?? O por usar el grifo del agua??. Esto es inaudito. La próxima vez pagaré por la silla también.

Lovely camping area,I little hilly but the food in the restaurant was superb

We had a pitch with a great view. Very hilly but with the train running throughout the day it's convenient to get to the pool and beach. Facilities are clean and staff are very friendly. A bit noisy from bungalow guests

I visited this place few years ago and still its one of the best places. Its totaly calm, but close to city.

Very unprofessional... We agreed to get a Bungalow near the pool and at the time of check in, they decided to gave us another one near highway where you hear cars and loud karaoke music from the restaurant. We tried to complain that this was not what we agreed for and they were very rude. Finally we had to leave to another camping few kms away with better services, cheaper prices and much more beautiful Bungalows!

Amazing service, spacious bungalows and even though we had one for five we received two for 6. Also we could check out at 6 the last day which was so nice and we didn't have to carry around our stuff the last day and could go and enjoy and see Calella. Only one advice not for the campsite but when ordering a taxi never order from calella because they charge you from the moment they leave and when they arrive the meter is already at 9 which is rediculous. From the campsite to the station in st Pol we were charged 14 euro and its a 5 min drive. Taxi from st Pol is super nice and does have fair pricing.

People that work here are really nice . We were staying in the G9 part - Silvia is absolutely adorable and always helpful - the pool is clean although gets very crowded in the afternoon - the bar near the pool is good - the food is tasty - at least what we tasted - different tapas and caipirinha. The only thing that is critically bad in this camping is the communication - there is a board at the camping entrave - so one shall refer to that one, but you never know where in the evening entertainment - uphill or near the reception. Updates on the website for weekly activities would be nice. Since it is fairly steep to climb after the show untrained people is suffering - so the car is advisable.

Great place, good parking, has their own beach. Internet has to be paid for but is good. There Is free internet at the cafe and bar. 10-15 min walk into calella. Reception has many leaflets about many trips and things to do. 50 min drive to Barcelona. If you take the tractor (disguised as a train) you can get to the bottom or top quickly. Its better than walking a 30° path. On the top there is 2 pools, tennis courts, basketball court, a football pitch and a restaurant/bar. Great place to chill out. In the bungalow that I stayed with my family (it was for 6 ppl but we were 3 teenagers and 2 adults). We fit very nicely and enjoyed a full kitchen bathroom and shower. The restaurant had very good prices. You can rent a cabin or bring your own mobile home.

Not bad overall, very close to a beautiful beach and very green overall. A lot of shade as we requested but all of it is up hill so a lot of climbing - during the day there is a train that takes you there and they are suuuper sweet. The restaurant however is not very good and the usual overpriced supermarkets so go prepared if you do not wish to lose money. The beach is beautiful but small ( there are others nearby) and the village close to it all park in the camping to go to it on weekends

Very clean site,toilets and showers were cleaned many times a day.Family friendly peaceful and quiet site, The train going through the camping site is a life saving machine as site is situated on a hill side. Shop a bit expensive according to prices in Calella but hot baguettes are worth every penny, the only bad thing its not open till 9:30 which is far to late if you want to have an early breakfast and enjoy every minute of the beautiful Spanish sunshine on the beach. We visited the restaurant only once prices are quite expensive and because my son had a little accident with the salt, the cap wasn't screwed properly and when he wanted to add some salt on his fries the cap fell off and he ended up with half of the salt on his fries and his plate, the waiter saw what happened and took the plate of my son but instead of replacing the over salted fries he only replaced the plate so we ate in Calella since. I Strongly recommend Greenwich . Overall I would definitely visit this place again.

What a lovely site. Really friendly team who allowed us to choose our own shady spot. Just had such a nice vibe, shame we only stayed one night. Short walk to a quiet beach. Great facilities as well, couldn't fault it 👌 👍

Unfortunately, this camp is very overpriced. A bungalow is not covered with towels, pillows or even sheets. The so called „mattress“ is audacious! After having slept on this piece of nothing, we had severe back and neck pain. The public sanitary facilities are very dirty. What’s nice though is the beach, sea, the possibilities for doing sports. All in all, the bungalows are overpriced. A hotel with breakfast included is cheaper than renting a bungalow at this camp.
