Friendly staff and fast service. They slice your ham right at the bar while you watch. Casual and fun.

So glad we tracked down this place! It is simply the best, in terms of service, food, drinks and value for money. Located just on the street behind the main beach drag, the atmosphere and ambience was cozy, friendly and authentic. Legs of ham hung from the wooden beams along with hundreds of beer mugs from all over the world and old farm equipment. The staff were really lovely and welcomed us warmly. And the tapas, they were the freshest and tastiest ones we’ve had on our trip. So yummy, I can’t wait to go back there for another round on my next stop in Tossa! Melt-in-your-mouth serrano ham, fresh manchego cheese, yummy croquettes, bruschetta with fresh tomatoes on freshly baked catalan bread and the best patatas bravas ever - I am salivating as I write this - plus well-kept spanish beer on tap, nice! The staff were cheerful with everyone and happily interacted with each other, we all felt like one big family! What a great place to wind down and relax after a day in the sun. Highly recommended.

Staff were fantastic! Food was out of this world, croquettes and pinxos were really tasty, the croquettes were all made in house by the team! And you can definitely taste the difference! The team couldn’t do enough for everyone was nice to see people being so friendly and interacting with everyone! Great place can’t recommend this place enough! They do a few dishes very well, and I mean very bloody well!

It was our third visit of Tossa de Mar - and Bar Don Juan. And we LOVE it there! The crew is awesome, always talkative and friendly, willing to find the right drink and goodies for your mood. Every time we felt welcome and stayed a bit longer than we planned :)

I’m from Canada & my partner & I shared a pitcher of red sangria & it was one of the worst sangrias I’ve ever had (very sweet, kinda watery, limited fruit, reminded me of those fake grape drinks). Food was ok but very greasy (we had croquettes & chorizo). Felt like it mostly catered to tourists. Waiters were great!

Very nice place for drink and snacks. All guys very friendly. Everytime we walked through we did stop there. Very kind atmosphere. You just have to visit Don Juan...

We tried a few tapas dishes and the red sangria. The sangria was really tasty and the meat was really good! The croquettes were definitely the star, they were amazing! The servers were really friendly as well.

Excellent little bar in the heart of Tossa De Mar. Staff are superb...friendly, attentive and full of life. Never had the food but always looked delicious. Great atmosphere with traditional hams hanging from the ceiling. Full and interesting selection of drinks. I shall return.

Great pub the "ham bar" as we called it, with great service from the very friendly and attentive staff. Didn't try food here but what we saw being served looked most appetising and was definitely cooked fresh. Great selection of drinks - various spirits including local specialities and brown/dark beer. Seats could be a bit more comfortable - only downside.

We really enjoyed taking a break from discovering the city at this bar. The service was great and fast, no unnecessary wait. I recommend for tapas and a lovely ambiance!

Very expensive for the low quality of the tapas. A few small frozen croquetas 9.5€. Do not recommend. It's a tourist trap.

Lovely bar for tapas. Friendly and multiple languages spoken. Highly recommend the patatas bravas. Plenty of different beers available and a lovely atmosphere with an olde world fun decor.

My family and I have been going there all my life (28 years) and longer. The Bar Don juan has managed to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity in that time! Apart from "Dino's", it is the only place that has moved with the times and simply appeals to everyone with its food and drinks! But the most extraordinary thing about the shop is the people who work there, who are friendly to everyone and make you feel like you belong in the place and in the shop! I am happy to spend my family holidays in Tossa de Mar every year, also because of the shop. I don't think it would be so regular otherwise!
