So just arrived at this hotel. The reception looks very old, it looks like a hostel the entrance as soon as you arrived in the VIP room with sea view the rooms were quite dirty full of dust the air conditioning and hot air didn't work the balcony had excrement the VIP area the deckchairs didn't have never been cleaned in a week they had the same bird droppings, then as soon as the food arrived in the restaurant. It's fine for what you paid,The dessert part is a disaster, vegetable cream, every day I had almost the same desserts, absolutely no improvement, the desserts were absolutely not good. but the cleanliness of the restaurants should be given much more attention and the air filters are dirty and the window joints are also very dirty, the chairs had a lot of handprints from the day before, the floor was full of hair. The waiters in the restaurant are friendly, even the managers .In short, these things need to be looked after much better, also because it involves hygiene. 7 waiters are very kind. Then regarding the bar there is some guy who is quite grumpy and not kind and during the VIP Service at 3.00 pm they should have come to ask if we wanted to drink something it was part of the VIP service, but almost never anyone comes it's presented. The elevator that takes you to the rooms if you look at the ventilation air there is mold inside and it hasn't been cleaned for decades.

All staff were really friendly and what a clean hotel! Food was always very nice with so much variety from pizza, pasta, salad bar, fruit bar, paella, meats, etc. Enjoyed all our breakfasts and evening meals. Great location and ideal for families - our 3 year old loved the play parks especially. Swimming pool is big and clean. Entertainment was fun too. We stayed with breakfast and evening meal included (half board) for a cheap price. Small queues for restaurant which always went down quickly. Service with a smile from everyone. Also the best shower i have ever had in their bathroom (haha) Thank you for such a lovely holiday!

Avoid this place if you want to sleep before midnight or have small kids that need their sleep. Extremely loud live music that is played for the 20-30 people that might actually enjoy it at the bar, but can be heard and felt by the other hundreds of guests throughout most of the building. Our child woke up from it even though he usually sleeps through everything. Nightclub on the other side of the building also with loud music until midnight. Staff does not care. Complaints at reception were met one time with "oh yeah, you are not the first one to complain". Other time with excuses saying "everything in Spain is loud". I appreciate some live music and the artists were decent, but it should be an opt-in event, not an "ear plugs required for sleeping" kind of deal. Rest of the hotel is average for the price. Rooms clean but they look old and tired. Ours had a power socket that didn't work, a literal hole in the wall, dents on the ceiling panels. Strings of dust coming from the air conditioning vents. Elevators are slow and broken a few times during our stay. The main positive for us was the view and proximity to the beach. The food was pretty decent but nothing too special. Serving staff were mostly great. I will not come back here, or recommend it to others. I'd suggest to spend a bit more for higher quality and a more peaceful stay.

We had a great time here. The hotel appears old, but really well-kept and clean. The crowning glory here is the staff, from reception, cleaning, poolside bar and dining room everyone is friendly, helpful and attentive. I wouldn't call it a 4star establishment, but certainly value for money for a 3star. The variety and quality of the food was amazing! Some small suggestions: 1. First hotel anywhere in the world I've been where there is no coffee station in the room. Make it standard PLEASE. 2. Upgrade the TVs to be Netflix capable. Not everyone understands the lots of Spanish or Russian (I think) channels. 3. Heat the pool! 😂🔥

Hotel near the railway, but you don't hear the train when you close the door. Nice hotel, very close to the beach, shops and restaurants and with good food and great cocktails. close to the beach. The disadvantage is poor English level of waiters, chaos in the swimming pool caused by children and their stupid parents and also the communication between reception and animators. The receptionists didn't know about their animation programs. Room was nice, but just with one electrical socket in the bedroom.

Lovely hotel. Rooms & beds are very comfortable. The shower room is awesome. Plenty of hotel water. Very clean. However lifts (3) can be a bit of a nightmare! Beach front one side of the hotel. Restaurants/bars & shops etc the other side of the hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay and, would revisit. See

4 stars (luxury) hotel might be overrated. Rooms are spacious and comfortable but can be noisy sometimes. Staff is nice. Breakfast is good. Location is perfect by the beach and close to everything in Santa Susanna. Very good value overall.

This is our third time staying at this hotel. The customer service is top notch. You are always greeted with a smile. The rooms are very good and I would recommend you treating yourself to an ocean view room. It was quite nice. We have also stayed in the pool/sea view rooms and you clearly have a great view of the entire accommodations. We chose full board which provides three meals per day. All of the food is fresh and quite delicious. When we get back to this region we will surely stay here again.

Decent hotel, located right in front of the beach. The pool is very big but keep in mind so is the number of room so crowded all day long. Food was surprisingly good, drinks not so much. Big downside was how noisy the room can gets (you hear prettu much all the coridor and the room next to you) but for the price it's a good place for family!

Excellent location and service by the people. Although the hotel front desk did the check-in in a hurry and did not inform me everything, the suites reception was really very helpful. Overall it was a great vacation and i will highly recommend this. Bonus point, there are watersport activities right outside the hotel at the beach.

The location is great! Plenty of food during both breakfast and dinner. Queues are managed quickly and professionally by the staff, no problems there. However, the rooms are not good. They are quite small, and The one particular room we got had a bad smell like coming from sewers, not that strong but still you could constantly feel it. Room also did not have any desk for working with a laptop. All of these would be tolerable, BUT the air conditioner was barely working, and it was hot in the room up to the point you actually sweat..

The hotel itself is very good. Comfy rooms, nice view (on the pool side), very good standard. What is huge bummer is the restaurant. And I do not mean the food. There is large amount of different dishes, so you always find what you like. There is enough of everething, being refilled continuously. But the restaurant capacity does not cover the capacity of the hotel. Almost every time you have to wait in long (sometimes very very long) line to be seated. And what is the worst, they require to pay your drinks after every dinner, so you have to wait in another line again on the way out! Standard is that you pay all your extra spendings together at the check out. Nevertheless, nice place for holiday for families with kids.

Very nice hotel and a lot of food. On the beach plus large outdoor swimming pool. Parking is €15 and it is not included, You will need to find a place to park outside the hotel but not enough lots for everyone in the hotel

We stayed at this hotel for ten days in July. We had a wonderful time. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, starting from the girls at the reception to the workers in the restaurant. The food was really excellent, fresh, and everyone could find something for themselves every day. What was great for me was the several types of plant milk we had available every day. Sometimes you had to wait in line to enter the restaurant and that was never more than 10 to 15 minutes, which is really not a big problem. The hotel is clean, trash in the rooms was removed every day, towels were changed. The only thing that could have been better was cleaning the floors in the room or at least sweeping them a little. The hotel is in a perfect location. The beach is right next to the hotel, the train stations is ten minutes from the hotel. It's not noisy; music, etc ends at 12 in the evening. There are plenty of activities for both adults and children. It was a bit crowded at the pool, but since my husband and I went to the beach, it was not a problem. Given a truly great experience, we will definitely be back again.

Good location for the formula 1 with the track 40 mins away and the beach being directly outside the hotel. Food is really good however one night it was only sea food which was disappointing. Drinks service at the bar is fantastic and the waiters are really friendly but the drinks service at dinner is very slow, had to ask someone 4 times each night if we could order some drinks before we got any. Room was very clean, the housekeeping team do an amazing job. The shower in the room could have benefited from a small shelf to put cleaning products.

We had a lovely stay at Tahiti Playa. Rooms are very clean, beds are massive and super comfy. We had a double room with 2 double beds put together. We got half board and I was so happy with the decision because the food is so varied, tasty, fresh and so many vegetarian options too in the buffet. Definitely recommend going for half board. A lot of activities for kids and for adults too, live music in the evenings, a ping pong table, pool tables, very clean and big swimming pools. The beach is just as you walk out of the hotel and you have a view of the beach and pool from every room. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. Definitely recommend this place, especially for families with kids. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice big rooms with airconditioning, the beds are incredibly big and very lovely to sleep in. The pool is nice, but if you don't like pools only 20 metres and you're in the sea! The food in the restaurant is lovely and the staff are very friendly, they clearly work very hard. A lovely hotel to stay at!

Overbooked, too many at the pool and people arguing over sunbeds. We had booked with dinner at the restaurant, but didnt use is more than two days. Everything was bland and overcooked, and when we had raw chicken at the buffet, we didnt go there for the rest of the week. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the events for kids were really good.

Beautiful as always. Located right on a sandy beach. You come out of the hotel grounds, onto the sand on the beach. Good range of shops around the vicinity selling EVERYTHING! Carrefour within a shopping mall at a walking distance and if you choose not to have the half board etc, great choice of restaurants all around. Disabled friendly and electric scooter hire place at a walking distance too! Ask reception and they might be able to help with that! Rooms spotlessly clean, excellent room service, towels etc replenished every day. If you can go for the balcony option, do go for it. It's perfect. We had room 451, and loved it there! Working fridge and a small TV in the room. There's a safe too but you need to pay a small daily amount (a bit over €2) to use it. Lavish breakfast and dinner (we didn't try lunch) Breakfast is more or less the same every day but great choice, many many types of bread, pastries, eggs, sausages and cold meats + salads, fruit, olives, cheeses, sauces etc. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and juices included. Dinner also amazing and a HUGE choice, with different dishes every day, including different grill options, all sorts of sea food, vegetarian options, salads, cold meats, fruit and sauces. However bear in mind, you have to pay for your drinks/ water at dinner time and can't bring your own!!! This was a bit sad! Also, our ONLY concern/suggestion is that the dishes are not marked for ingredients 😑 Every day one or two members of our group with nut allergies were experiencing horrible allergic reactions to the point that on 2 days they just didn't eat at the restaurant despite having paid for it. Also found out that some pastries for breakfast that we thought were vegetarian contained lard?! That felt a bit awful. But staff are helpful and if you check with them, they're happy to help. Still EXTREMELY, extremely important that the dishes are clearly marked about ingredients as staff don't know if anything contains nuts or nut oil, and this alone might influence our decision to visit again even though we love the place! Also, athough there are more than enough vegetarian options, because of NOT CLEARLY marked, and lying beside non veg options and getting cross contaminated, the choice becomes a bit limited. Overall, best place to stay at out of all the hotels in the area if you want to enjoy a relaxing, fun holiday by the beach. Music and entertainment organised on most nights, great drinks choices at the bar till late night, including cocktails and mocktails, table tennis and pool tables available to use (borrow equipment from reception) excellent pools and jacuzzi and plenty loungers for everyone. Shisha place nearby, bustling shopping parade opposite the hotel with money exchange places, tobacco shops and even caricature artists offering their services for great prices!😁

The location of the hotel is very good - right by the sea, close to the promenade, shopping center, shops and restaurants. The building itself is big, comfy and clean. The only downside is the elevators - they are slow. However, if there are no health problems, you can move up the stairs faster. My room was very comfortable, beautiful and with a view of the sea, I could hardly hear the neighboring rooms. The purchased VIP package included, in addition to three meals a day, the use of the minibar (2 bottles of water) and also a glass of juice, a glass of champagne, etc. every day at 12:00 and 15:00. The restaurant is large, the service is very pleasant and of course the food is very tasty, varied and has a large selection. Water, juice, coffee, etc. are included in the price only during breakfast, at lunch and dinner it can be bought either in the form of a bottle or as free tap water. Sometimes there were queues at the restaurant, but they moved quickly. In addition, I asked for a lunch box on two days and they were decent: water, yogurt, two types of sandwiches, pastries, cookies/waffles and fruit and cutlery (in addition, my lactose intolerance was taken into account and gluten- and lactose-free products were also included). The hotel's pool is large enough, in addition, there is a separate pool for children with attractions and a jacuzzi. When I was there in the middle of October, the pool water was cold and I didn't go swimming there. Coming to the weather - there was sun, heat, rain, cooler weather and wind. On cooler days, I looked for a spot in a sheltered spot because the wind was strong and chilly at times. There were enough sunbeds and there was no shortage of them, and it was forbidden to reserve chairs. The VIP package included a separate and private area with sunbeds. The beach is sandy, it gets deep very quickly and the waves are strong. Sunbeds on the beach are available for an extra charge, but you can sunbathe on your own towel for free. The hotel Wi-fi works very well on the beach and even a little away from the hotel Would I recommend this hotel? Yes

We’ve stayed here for eighth nights in one of the bigger vip sea front rooms last week. The room is great, the cleaning is ok and the view is fantastic! The food and staff in the restaurant are very good. The staff in the bar by the pool are unfortunately ignorant and it’s a struggle to order anything. This happens to us, my father in law and our friends. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the last day when they changed our sheets our baby’s pyjamas disappeared. We talked to the front desk but we haven’t heard anything more despite two emails. What happened? Will they compensate us? I don’t now. The pyjamas was a very loved piece so we are very sad that it’s gone and that the hotel doesn’t seem to care. So de staff by the pool bar and the pyjamas missing is affecting our experience of Tahiti playa but it’s definitely worth the money and I would really recommend the vip sea front rooms.

I give this hotel 5stars . Can't fault it in any way. Food was great with plenty of selection, we went half board so we had our breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. Rooms were spotless and cleaners came everyday and did a great job. It's right beside the beach and has beautiful swimming pools. Overall we had a great holiday here . Would definitely go back again.

Good location of a hotel with perfect access to the beach. The rooms have a pretty modern bathroom with great showers. Decent balcony but TV's could do with being a little bigger (just me being picky) Unfortunately service wasn't the greatest with what we experienced with both reception and at the tapas bar by the pool (one waitress didn't smile the whole time she we were there) Must say the breakfast table staff were the only ones worth mentioning and the greeter too! We do not have kids, but from what we saw, considering the fairly small area size of the hotel, there was numerous things to do including an inside play room, outside play area and animation staff with games throughout the day.

We stayed in this hotel for a family holiday. The room was nice and spacious. Lovely sea view from the room. The food was okay and there was not much variety. Same food everyday. The hotel is located in a good location and near all shops. The main reason not to give five stars is that the food is not up to the mark and the kids club was below average. Previously we stayed in a similar hotel and had a great time but not this time

This place is fantastic , we enjoyed our 6 days stay in their suites (appartment like). It just a minute walk to the beach. Their staffs were really nice. We took breakfast and dinner in one of their restaurants (connected to our building), breakfasts were good but the food during dinner were tasteless. On the other hand, food during lunch in the other restaurant ( connected to the hotel) were amazing. They have a bar in near the pool, and they have the worst margarita that I’ve ever had. But for them it was good when I told them that it taste really bad. I paid for nothing cause I could not drink it. Also, we’ve asked everyday to clean our room but then they never refilled our toiletries.i did not feel the need to ask cause luckily I brought ours. But I think it’s essential for them to check it specially during the 5 days of cleaning, without refill seemed really impossible. Overall, it was good and most importantly, our children enjoyed it.

Stayed in one of the VIP suites with a queen size bed, that was really just two smaller beds pushed together. That's my only real complaint. It's noisy at night but most of the noise after 11 is coming from the hotel on the other side of the train tracks, so you can't really fault this hotel for others noise. The location to the beach was great. It was never too crowded which made it enjoyable. Unlike the pool which was always crowded, so we just opted to go to the beach everyday. The food was just ok. Paella super salty every day. The menu did change daily with a few staples but they were definitely on a no waste thing as lunch items would appear at dinner and dinner items would appear at breakfast. As well as "salads" would be offered that were just a mixture of left over things. Sometimes the food was not very warm, but most of the time it was fine. That really depends on how long it's sat before you took it. The food was often over/under seasoned making for a real mixed bag. Drinks are not included with any of their meal deals, even VIP only gets 1 free per meal, and often it's not enough to get through the meal so you contemplate buying their drinks at €2+ Overall it was a nice place. My main issue was just the beds being made the way they were. The staff were all really nice and helpful no complaints about the staff. I think every employee that you interact with was at least bilingual to some degree. Would I go back? Maybe not too this hotel but definitely to Santa Susanna. Just might give some other place a try in the future I included some pictures from meals so you get an idea of what to expect. Usually there was always some lamb/beef/pork and some kind of seafood on offer at each meal

The swimming pool and the sea view is amazing. A variety of delicious food is provided for breakfast. In addition, the live music in the evening made our stay even more enjoyable.

  • 2/5 Bjorn V. 1 year ago on Google
The good: + Modern room with airconditioning and fridge + Last day room + Friendly staff The bad: - During our stay the hotel was overbooked. This resulted in queues (approx. 15 min) for breakfast and diner. No available beds at the swimmingpool if you're not someone who gets up early in the morning to reserve one with a towel. - The hotel doesn't have sunbeds (or anything else) on the beach. This costs about 18 euro a day to rent.

Nice renovated hotel located just on the beach, close to Barcelona, Girona and other places of interest and within 20 min driving you may visit every day an another of the beautiful Costa Brava beaches. We are a family of two adults and a teenager (one vegetarian) booked 10 days half-board but unfortunately this was a waste of money as food reserved is of really low quality. Fruit in poor condition and some almost rotten, meat very dry and hard, tasteless frozen fish, falafel with a sign under the name of farfallle still raw inside maybe because was not well defrosted, overcooked vegetables and much more unacceptable for a 4 star hotel food. If you have allergies of a special diet it is like lottery what to eat as many dishes have incomplete information or not any information at all of what is it. For a vegetarian this is hotel is a No No! Even the breakfast is very poor, I don’t recommend this place except if you book only the room or in worst case BB, not worth paying for the food. 5 more days to go I just counting down. Update: big chaos with sun-beds, day 6 we deside to stay at pool area for save some money from sun beds at beach but unfortunately this was impossible as all sun beds were reserved with towel despite the hotel policy not to do so. The guy working there was very rude with a couple and unwilling to help as he denied help by say “No comprendo - Español”. Big queues at the breakfast, I feel sorry sorry for the staff working hard to keep everything running. Update No2: Despite the irregular beginning of our holidays at the hotel in question and some unfortunate events the hotel manager get very serious my feedback they accepted negligence on their part while their reaction was immediate. I upgrade my rating to a 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the professionalism they have shown in handling complaints and their intention to maintain the high standards befitting a four-star hotel as well as meeting their guest’s expectations.

Spent a week in this hotel with my wife from the 6/4/23 to13/4/23 Don't know were to start with the praise for this hotel. From the minute you walk in the door you are met with reception staff who are very welcoming and very helpful The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff in the restaurant are the best we have ever met as for the food, absolutely beautiful great selection every day something for everyone. Let's just say fantastic hotel, fantastic staff, would definitely recommend it to anyone. We will be back again

Breakfast could be much better. Dinner is OK, sometimes even really nice. Staff barely speak English and generally the hospitality touch is missing. Good swimming facilities.

OK, I did not expect beforehand that I would leave a 5 star review. Before we booked, from other reviews we had mixed feelings about the hotel. We booked anyway as we were in a hurry. But gosh, what a pleasure was this hotel!! We were staying as a family with 2 kids 4 and 6 years old. We had such an amazing time. The staff was unbelievable helpful and friendly. All of them. I have a gluten free diet and they helped me so well. I could choose pizza, pasta, meat, snacks or whatever I wanted, they would be able to prepaire it for you. Never had this kind of amazing service. Also the animation for our kids was very good. Our kids wanted to go there every day. The ladies are so friendly for them. The room was also perfect. It was an amazing shower, good temperature. Nice and clean beds and room. Cleaning was done every day in our room. Some key points that come to mind about this hotel: *friendly staff. *The food, lots of options every day again. *The amazing assortiment for gluten free food. Pizza, pasta, deserts, snacks.... There was so much I could eat. *The wifi was exceptional good, even in our hotel room *the free parking outdoor and also paid, secured parking inside. *The animation for our kids during the day. Our kids 4 and 6 where so happy to go to animation. Lovely. *the beach!! It is less than 1 minute walking from the swimming pool
