My wife and I entered this hotel with a view to booking a room on our road trip… we were immediately shouted at by a receptionist as we walked through the looby he was very aggressive and hostile and shouted at us where were our arm bands… I tried to explain that we merely were looking at the hotel to see if it was suitable for our needs as we may book a room for a night… he merely shouted we should ask first to walk through the lobby !! I have never encountered such rude aggressive conduct by a receptionist .. needless to say we left immediately and the receptionist just stood there smirking !! Disgraceful staff behavior.. the male Recptionist was a thin and balding … he is not suitable for the job you have given him !!

A very very nice hotel, the swimming pools are great, for each is a choice, but because it is a holiday season, it's crowded every day. The food, how can I describe it. There are foods all Day long, from breakfast till 22hr in the evening. There are lots and lots of choices, but after few days it is getting a bit boring because the buffet kept presenting the same taste, and the foods need more seasoning for my part, a little bit more Spices and more varieties would be great. But for all, if you like to eat, it is a heaven for your taste buds. The staffs are super friendly. The animation team is the best I've seen so far, really doing their best all Day long. The kids were looking forward to the show every evening. The hotel in general is really clean, the rooms are being cleaned every day. The only negative point, is the bed, it is hard and sometimes it's rolling because of its wheels underneath, but because of the active days, you'll Just fall sound a sleep eventually. And at least, wifi only works well in Some parts of the hotel. The conclusion, it's a place to be. They get 5 stars from me. Of course there are points that I think could be better, but there are hundreds of guests, and each has their own taste. And Evenia is doing their best to fulfill those.

Just an amazing place. Clean rooms clean restaurant with a good selection of food. I was in need of a wheelchair and they provided one without notice. All members of staff no matter where they were situated could not be helpful. It goes without saying I'll be returning and thanks for a brilliant holiday.

I was staying in Evenia Olympic Resort. It was 8 days / 7 nights stay with my family (2 adults, 3 kids) in all-inclusive option. The whole complex is located a bit more far away from seashore in a bit less busy area of Lloret. We were accommodated in Olympic Suites although were using common places. The whole complex has a lot of great pools: dedicated for kids / for teens / for adults. There are also multiple restaurants, snack-bars etc. with different kind of food. It's great place for kids / families with a lot of animations / activities to perform. The hotels are though pretty aged and the rooms are not the bests in some of the hotels hence be mindful in which hotel you have accommodation. More details in specific opinions per hotel as these differs.

Rooms have just a bed, you can hardly walk around it. Electrics on show, wallpaper coming off walls, crawling with ants. Music is like an ibiza pool party on to after 12 like full blown party rang reception to ask to turn down, was told I would have to come down and talk to entertainment staff. not great for families. Pools are really good, inside pool should be cleaned and updated. Upgraded to suites for facilities with hob no cutlery, cups, pots, plates or glasses. Such a let down after reading all the reviews.

Full disclosure: I did not book this resort, but was brought here on a bus from BCN airport (94km away!) after a canceled flight. I want to give compliments to the check-in and hotel manager staff, they were extremely efficient in processing 200 unexpected arrivals arriving on 4 bus loads at night, just as staff was getting ready to go home for the day. Of all the things that were wrong with our day, this was probably the best part! Now we had good accommodations, hot showers, and dinner! The accommodations seem very dated, circa 1970s. The rooms are fairly Spartan, but there was a TV mounted on the wall that you could hit your head on, a very tiny kitchenette with very tiny microwave, oven, and absolutely no utensils, plates, cups, etc. In the bathroom there were no amenities, just a wall-mounted soap dispenser, and a very basic towel, which is very rough and sandpaper like. As for the cafeteria, it is buffet style, and had a mix of local dishes and more commonly recognized dishes. The noise level in the cafeteria was intense, because the entire place is just stone and glass and every sound echoes, every clink of the fork. Every conversation every scuffle of the feet. Very very noisy, seems more like a barracks canteen. The wait staff and the manager were pretty rude and just assumed all 200 of us knew how this place worked, or what was included in our airline provided stay. Overall, it seems like a decent place to stay for a family get away from it all vacation. The property is quite large, and there are several swimming pools. However, the beach Is about 20 minutes walk away through town.

Food not cooked properly food my boy got food poisoning on 3rd day. Rooms are really tiny no space to move about once suit cases are in. towels stained bedding stained. Not enough space for the amount of people there. kids club is bad out of 4 pools only the pirate pool didn't smell like a stagnant pond

Had the best holiday with my wife and 3 kids. The room was basic but there was plenty of space and it was always cleaned every day without fail. 3 pools were clean with some decent water slides and all astro turfed around them so it was really good for the kids. Plenty of day entertainment for adults and kids plus evening entertainment, from martial arts to circus performers. Well stocked bar and the staff were always friendly. There was always plenty of food to pick from and it was varied with some different themed nights, like our last night was mexican themed. The only small improvement could be that the food wasn't always the warmest. But if you read this before you go there is a microwave in the middle of the restaurant 👍 it's not a bad walk to the beach so location wise it's fine. Our son got a small cut his head one day (his own fault) but the staff were really helpful and caring, we even got a phonecall to check he was ok the next morning and they brought us sweets for all the kids. We'd definitely recommend it as a family holiday.

Difficult one to review. A lot of positives including the venue itself, great location and the pools are fantastic, especially the slides. Great place for those with children however for adults only, be aware everything seems themed to the younger ones. All inclusive drinks were good but always served in a plastic cup, not great for the environment. Food was sometimes amazing but more often very English and quite boring. Most of the food was the same every day and even the same for the different eating times as well. Be aware the food is awfully labelled, more frequently than not, it was not labelled at all. Food was only hot if you see them add the food directly in after cooking, other than that it was almost always actually cold. Not great for food hygiene or taste. Service was generally very good, a few bartenders that were bad but in general very good. Also kept very clean in general which was great. Only 10 mins walk to the beach and there were about 3 to choose from. If you like going out out then the strip is only 10 mins walk as well. Rooms were good enough, we had a family room for 3 adults with 3 separate beds. Bathroom a good size. Overall a good price but an average holiday.

This hotel is not worth the money paid. Pools are shallow but good for kids not so much for adults. Can only get 2 drinks per person from bar which is not good for a party of 8 yet the Spanish holiday makers could get as many drinks as they like very unfair. ( some not all staff were rude).Food wise plenty of choice but was always only luke warm (thank goodness for the microwave ovens and the local restaurants although we were all inclusive. The weather was really good but a lot of flys and wasps. All of what I have written is vigorously refuted by the customer relations team who constantly post updates on Facebook. Believe me it's all true.

We have just returned from a great stay at the Evenia palace in Lloret de mar. If you are looking for a great hotel to stay with kids, I highly recommend this hotel. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The room was nice and clean and the housekeepers did a fantastic job! The food is great with a huge range of salads, meats, breads and pretty much anything you can think of! The outside space including the pools and slides were fantastic, the kids absolutely loved being able to go up and down the slides all day, again the pool staff were very helpful. The one thing I would point out is if you want a lounger by the pool get up very early as the these are gone by 8, if not there is always somewhere you can find to spend the day. The entertainment team are great, very smiley and interact with the kids really well. All in all, if you have kids and want a great holiday, you can't go wrong here!!

bad hotel many bad sides . the room was not clean there was still hair in the shower from the previous people toilet was not clean. there were no sheets for the children so had to go find it yourself. for the people who could not read Spanish but have to find out for themselves what to do in the hotel is nowhere to be found on paper what to do in the coming days. every night there was ne saw guy who was playing some music. the person behind the bar an older man who could never laugh was a sour man . have complained to them with the request for compensation but unfortunately without success. so along this way I want to let people know before they experience it too. GET ONLY THINGS TOP IS THE FOOD AND TOP PEOPLE THAT I TAKE OFF MY HAT FOR THAT . if I could make the choice search further this was the worst holiday ever.

TUI customers are given the small tight rooms unless you upgrade. We have just returned today and was very disappointed. It’s never a 4*. positives are the pools and pool areas are good and clean, staff are helpful and maids do a great job. However as a disabled passenger I requested a low floor and was put on the top floor. We upgraded to a suite and again put on top floor. The room had no electric sockets in bedroom but 2 in living area that made life hard when I have an oxygen machine and cpap to plug in at night. Plug sockets were loose and covers on wall falling off each day. The food was Luke warm at best and we had to microwave food before eating. Everyone was complaining but nothing changed. I have never before stayed in a hotel where you could not get a tea or coffee with lunch or dinner in the restaurants. Had to go to a bar or the outside cafe for tea/coffee. Meal times were feral, and as TUI customers we could only use 1 of the 4 restaurants. There was no daytime activities, kids disco started when they felt like starting it, anything from 9-10 pm. Entertainment was dire except for 1 act. Outside of the buildings were in need of maintenance and a clean with paint peeling off, lumps falling off and panels hanging near the kids club. We ended up eating out for the 2nd week as the food was cold and the restaurant and site was feral. I would not return or recommend, and TUI should look at its grading. Never a 4*

Just returned from family holiday and had a lovely time. Complex is large so lots of walking between pools and/or bars. It was busy and there's the usual race for sunbeds in the morning but the facilities are great. Three pools, saltwater one not loved by our kids but was busy, has its own pool bar and snack area. We mainly settled by the middle (tropical?) pool, with jacuzzi areas, bridges, different depths, fountain and own pool bar accessed from land or in the pool. Last pool has lots for littlies including a pirate ship, next to that are some larger slides that older kids and adults can go on. Beside here is a bar and snack bar. There is a small indoor pool but we didn't venture inside. All the communal areas and our room were very clean. We had a family for 4 room, comfortable and spacious (but there were only two if us in that one due to how our family group split the rooms). Bathroom with bath/shower, bidet and toilet, bedroom with kingsize bed, made up with clean, white sheets, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, case shelf, tv with main 5 English channels available alongside Spanish tv. Through sliding glass doors to room with sofa bed, more drawers, another wardrobe and tv, then double doors to the balcony. Both rooms had separate air con. Enjoyed every meal in the restaurant, lots of selection although the kids chose the fresh pasta most nights. We usually went to eat at 7.30 when the restaurant opened and there were a few waiting at that time but we got in and were seated quickly. There was a bit more of a queue when we came out later. On a day out the hotel arranged picnics for us take and as we had an early departure, breakfast picnics to take on our journey to the airport. Service - the staff clearly work very, very hard in this hotel, from front of house and catering to cleaning staff and groundsmen - we had great service but it's a busy place and you may need to queue for a bit sometimes at the bars. Different activities for kids and adults during the dsy and entertainment each evening. Location - Its a ten minute stroll to the start of the town, streets and streets of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants. Carry on through the town and you come to the beach. It's a very fine shingle so bare feet a bit uncomfortable when it's hot. Can hire beds and/or brollies for 8 euro. Other way from the hotel a 20 minute walk to Waterworld, a lovely day out but expensive! Would definitely recommend this hotel - go and enjoy!

When 800 people are booked for 3 nights, I give a lot of slack. Most of us were booked 2 to a room. Many (maybe all) of the rooms were configured with 2 beds next to each other, rather than seperate. I think they all had sofa beds, though. The on site buffet was good (but not great). 10 minutes from the beach on foot. Nice, touristy city.

Very nice hotel for when you are with small children. Fantastic pools and slides. Breakfast and dinner are of good quality and varying. Even the snack bar had plenty of choice and was freshly prepared. Tip for the hotel: bringing suitcases upstairs as a service. As a guest you really don't feel like doing this after a long journey in such a large hotel.

This hotel is a great place. The food is OK and changes every day, lots of activities. Spa is just awesome. For the price and the all inclusive the service is great, but I didn't like the fact that they take a 20€ caution for the safelock key, and when I lost it they ask for an extra 10€. Otherwise the hotel is really nice, nice swiming pools !

Excellent hotel, great facilities. Reception staff a bit hit and miss. When we arrived the team on duty were great. After that not very friendly which was a shame. But the space used for classes, excellent. The rooms were one of the best I've come across. Dining/restaurant too was a nice space and a commendable, well presented selection of food, no fault there whatsoever. I would definitely recommend and stay there again

Everything was perfect. We paid for all inclusive so everything was included. The food was great with so much to choose from and it's in a buffet format so there is no limit. The rooms were clean and a regular cleanup was done as well to maintain the cleanliness. There are a number of activities that you can find to do in the hotel as they have a game room, shows at the end of the day, indoor swimming pool and a tourist office for recommendations for places you could visit. The hotel is 20minutes away from the nearest beach. The only points to mention that weren't the best is that the drinks are from cheap alcohol unless you would like to pay extra for the branded bottles. And the thing I really didn't enjoy is that the water in the swimming pool was cold. Apart from that we had a lovely time.

We are a family of 4, with two kids aged 8 & 9. This was our third stay at the Olympic Resort, and this place did not disappoint again. The pool area is such an amazing resource for the hotel, and my children loved spending all day going down the slides. They never got bored. The hotel provides lots of extra activities during the day, such as circus activities and zorb balls on the pool. The evening entertainment is top class, and keeps everyone entertained from young to old. They seem to change from year to year, as over the three years we have been we haven't seen many the same. I have two quite fussy eaters, and there was always plenty to keep them happy, especially the vast quantity of desserts. From an adults point of view, the food was lovely. Plenty of choice and variety, and always fresh and hot. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with a family, you will not be disappointed.

Really lovely hotel this place is much better then the smaller hotels. Staff speak good English and very helpful. Good for kids adults. Great food. Less trouble at this hotel was most people staying family.

Nice rooms and showrooms, missing some amenities in the room for a 4 star hotel like an iron...

Nice rooms, a large choice of food! But noisy in restaurant as all people come at once.
