Living in Calella, this is our go to bar/restaurant for drinks and/or food with a view. It is one of the restaurants situated right on the beach of Calella. A large menu of bar snacks, sandwiches, tapas plus main courses mainly consisting of meat and seafood on the grill, burgers and paella. Great selection of drinks including gluten free beer. The owner and staff have all been there for years and are friendly, attentive and professional. Prices are very reasonable especially when you consider the location and views. While some of the other beach restaurants may be more suitable for a little finer dining, this is the place we go and enjoy the most. Xiri 9 does obviously get busy during peak summer times so I would reccomend booking, or being prepared for a short queue, especially at lunchtime.

Best beach club in Calella ! All the staff is really nice, they make sure you’re satisfied. Even when it’s rush time they’re very organized and polite. They really deserve the best. It’s also super affordable, you eat and drink very well it’s delicious. We will for sure come back next year!

Very, very nice place! We have been having lunch here everyday during our stay in Calella. Very tasty food, big portions, quick service and very friendly and available staff. We tried quite a lot of options in their menu, and everything was very good. They have a lot of appetizers and sandwiches (which are half of a baguette) that can be modified as you like, but they also have very tasty Burgers, BBQ and paella. Awesome place!

Lovely restaurant/bar on the beach , came here twice whilst in Calella on holiday. The staff are friendly and accommodating and sitting on the beach having an evening meal was really nice and relaxing. The place itself is laid back. Food and drinks not too badly priced, cost around €45 for 2 meals, a dessert and a few beers and 1 cocktail. Would recommend to anyone visiting Calella.

I would not even give 1 star, I came on holiday from the UK looking for some where to eat and have drink solo traveling, as i approached the door all staffs heads turned and as I got to the door I was told it was CLOSED, after turning to walk away two cacausian females who stay in the same hotel as myself walked in freely, I waited a while to see and they was tended to and sat down inside, the gentleman was actually taking out the bin when I approach him, I said excuse me and he then said oh there are chairs outside now for drinks (clearly I wouldn't eat or drink there they might do something malicious to my food or drink) I walked off but clearly you can not go there as a paying solo black, I don't know how an establishment can go from closed to now oh we have chairs as he now knew I saw my own residences of the same hotel go in no issue. I want to state I was dressed appropriately and was polite and even did not make a fuss but Spain what a shame!!! I felt the racism I was warned about though my trip has been beautiful till now.
