Not long back from spending a week here and after booking it and reading reviews I was a little worried about staying at the hotel. After staying here, I honestly don't get the bad reviews. Hotel location - it's 5/10 min walk to beach with plenty of shops on the way. A further 5 minutes away is the Calella Lighthouse/museum. A 15 minute walk will take you into the beautiful old town where the church is located with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around. The hotel itself is clean. Regular cleaning was carried out around toilets etc the rooms were also clean and cleaned on a daily basis, with fresh towels daily. The room isn't overly big, but big enough for my family of 4 to be comfortable. There's a mini fridge, walk in shower and a hairdryer. There is also a safe available but extra cost for the key (which we didn't use) irons and kettles etc are also available at reception for an extra cost. Pool area - not overly big. There's 1 main pool and jacuzzi, 1 pirate splash area, 1 baby pool and 3 water slides. Definitely recommended for kids. There is the usual sun bed dash that you get anywhere but there is plenty of chairs as well as sun loungers. Pool side bar was good. Snacks like toasties, burgers, chips, ice cream and popcorn. Food - I am a really plain and fussy eater and this was a big concern. I had no need to be worried. There was always plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner with different foods cooked fresh in front of you each time on the grill. I never struggled to find anything to eat, and what i did wat was lovely. Although by the end of the week it had become very repetitive. Entertainment wasn't the best, the usual cheesey holiday thing. It wasn't for me but kids enjoyed it. Overall it is a great hotel. We had a brilliant time here, it's clean with pleasant staff and a great hotel for families.

I must admit my stomach turned after reading some reviews (post booking) however I find some of these reviews to be very different to what we as a family experienced. We travelled as a family of 8 which consists of my Mum and Dad, my husband and myself and our 4 children ages 9months,3 years, 10 years and 12 years. The hotel- Well presented and clean, both the rooms we had were cleaned daily with replacement towles and the bed sheets changed in the week. The majority of mess (toilets or food on the floor) was caused by dirty people (sorry there. Is no other way to put it) but it was cleaned by the staff throughout the day. The staff- yes their main language is Spanish and some speak better English than others however each and everyone we spoke to tried their best. My eldest daughter and myself spent a little bit of time learning to ask for/speak the basics in spanish. The swimming pools- the small pool down the bottom is a salt water pool so it may look cloudy but it is clean and is perfect for the smaller ones but initially can be a little cold. Middle pool is a fair size but no inflatables are allowed apart from little ones for babies/young children which isn't a big issues as we just played games instead. The slides and other pool I can not say much about as I did not venture up that part however our eldest two seemed to enjoy the slides. The floor can be slippery especially inside the pool sides toilets so walking is a must but no different to any other pool side There are sun loungers and chairs and we always manged to get 4 which we did not have to line up or run for and we also saw staff removing towles from chairs that have been claimed by people before going out for the day. The food. Pool sides snacks are burgers/bacon rolls/hot dog/toasties/chips and ice creams which taste fine. Drinks are pepsi/7up/Fanta/milkshakes/slush puppies and a variety of alcohol. All drinks are two a time but you can go as many times as you like. meals -I will try to list below as much as possible of what we saw. The choice changed daily but the safe food for fussy eaters was always available Breakfast Mixed Pastries/mixed Cheese/mixed meats/mixed bread rolls, White and brown bread/mixed cereal/mixed eggs ie scrambled or fried etc/sausage/bacon/hash browns/beans and a mixtures of fruit and puddings. Fruit juices available/ water/coffee Lunch and evening meal Pizza/pasta/rice/fish/Chinese/springrolls/ currys/stews/burgers to be honest there's too much to list but there's a good variety. We will most definitely be returning

Really lovely clean hotel. Staff are really nice nothing is too much trouble. Had absolutely no problem at all... the food was nice and plentiful although a little repetitive I didn't mind though I enjoyed what was on offer and didn't struggle to find plenty that I liked... my 4 nearly 5 year old had the time of her life playing in the pools all day and partying every evening at the mini disco... the entertainment was really good... all of the kids there were having a great time... bonus is its only 5 min walk to the beach too...

Not great. The canteen is crazy, everyone on top of each other. Queuing starts at 8 for pool opening at 9. You have to run to the pool to get an ok seat. No chairs left when I arrived one morning at 9.30 and nobody on the chairs only towels. Would I recommend this hotel a big NO

Hotel doesn’t look anything like the pictures is very basic. The food is horrendous and they served raw/undercooked food multiple times pancakes fish burgers all different things. The knives in the restaurant are so sharp my son cut his finger open cutting a bread roll!! (He is 9 so can be trusted to use a knife provided sensibly) The chlorine in the pool is so high all the children at the hotel had chemical burns on their skin which ruined the holiday as the kids couldn’t do anything as they were in so much pain. The entertainment was pretty awful and hardly any entertainment. The staff are so rude and struggle to understand basic terms in English. Would 100% not recommend this hotel or area as it was the worst holiday I’ve ever been on in so disappointed

There is not enough space anywhere for the number of guests in the hotel. Pools always crowded. Food was basic lamb undercooked, omelette was also undercooked, for all inclusive we ended up eating out for lunch and dinner from day 3 onwards. Entertainment is not great. Location isn't great either for a family with not much to do.

A great place to bring the kids and the family, nice room great food but everyone's taste is different. The hotel has 3 pools. The bad experience that I had was when everyone was waiting to be 9 to occupy the beach bed then they went to take the breakfast

We had a fantastic time with the family in this hotel. Don't understand the negative comments about the food. Actually it was amazing and so much to choose from. Dining room is huge and they keep cleaning it. All the staff were extremely helpful and kind nothing is too much for them. There are plenty pools for kids and adults watersides (for kids water shoes recommended)... you can spend the whole day there. The issue with the sun beds is not that they are not enough. There are plenty. The problem is that the people "reserve" them by putting their stuff on the bed and they leave the hotel for a whole day. If they would not do that the beds would be enough for everyone. The hotel and rooms restrooms and everywhere is nice and clean 👌 I think all rooms have balcony. A/C working perfect, Rooms are small but who wants to stay in the room when on holiday. They come to clean every day. Beds are comfortable. The only negative experience was that the guests are still awake and loud till around midnight, 1am ... which is not allowed. From 11pm need to be quite so if you experience this talk to the receptionist they will sort it. The drinks which comes in "all inclusive " are okey. Cocktails, beer, milkshakes, smoothie, coffee, coke etc... 2 small elevators in the hotel , maybe not enough, we didn't mind ... Beach is about 6-8 min walk. Long nice sandy beach. The sand is rough not fine but its okey at least comes off easily from feet. Nice busy town centre around 10min walk with plenty restaurants and bars and night. Boat trips from the nearest beach (about 27-37€/ person , children cheaper) They drop you in another town , you spend there few hours then back. The yellow /blue little tourist train nearest station is opposite hotel president about 3 min walk from Oasis. 3€/person child is 1.5€ Overall we enjoyed the time here we would come back without hesitation.

My boyfriend and I are currently part way through our one week stay and are loving it! There’s three different pools so you always get a seat, the rooms are clean and can’t fault the service! Snack bar is fab as well. The food can be a bit samey but is lovely, and there’s a stunning town with a church a short walk away (you can go this way to the beach). Lots to do as a family, with children or a couple. Would definitely recommend

a good place to spend a little time with the family, I stayed 4 days with the family and the accommodations are ok but the AC not working well, they clean and change everything every day, the breakfast is very good with many varieties (especially natural orange juice), lunch and dinner are also good, the part of the pools need to be cleaned more, some doors has to be fix on men’s toilets dawn by the pools,I saw mud in some points, they needed to be a little bigger for the size of the hotel, as well as the lifts I also found small, there are 3, the staff are very polite and helpful in general 5 i give 3.5 stars

Food was rubbish, pool for adults is absolutely tiny and overcrowded, canteen is overcrowded with hardly any space when sat down, I had pork that was not even cooked and would have made me Ill if I never checked it and just ate it and the amount of disregard for other holiday makers was insane. I've never been to a hotel with so many rude people. Will never visit this place again. Although calella itself was amazing with a beautiful beach. My kids enjoyed the experience tho so that's all that counts 😂

It is not what it looks like in pictures when booking. If your main goal on holidays is to drink the cheapest beer and eat bad food this is the place for you. We came here with 2 year old and couldn't sleep a single night. Ear buds purchased later helped, I strongly advise you bring some if coming here. Hotel is 80 percent populated with social welfare breeders that can't or have no interest to look after their kids. If you like nasty altercations at 2.00 in the morning, this is a perfect place. Key cards for rooms work like Irish weather, on and off. Staff is oblivious to this. AC might stop mid night as they are linked. Do not use the pool, if you put your hand in it, you will feel how slimy water is, that's chorine, tons of it. Very slippery and barely any safety, on our first day there was an ambulance outside with sirens on, I hope everything was ok. We went to the beach every day instead, thankfully it was very close. PS Hotel staff on the other hand were nice, I felt bad for them seeing how tired they are dealing with the special demographic that this place attracts. EDIT Decided to give two instead of one stars simply because of staff, they make this nightmare a bit brighter. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL

We have a family of 5 which unfortunately meant splitting us up between 2 rooms. The gave us rooms next door to one another which was manageable but it wasn't ideal especially as I'm ill & in a wheelchair & had to share with my youngest whilst hubby was in the next room with the other 2 children. It's not great if something was to happen to me. The kids had a ball at the splash park & the pool. They loved the fact they could get snacks by the pool all day & not need to go into get changed before eating lunch. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Not a complaint to make.

1 week family holiday (myself, wife and my 2 girls 1.5 years and 4), just coming to an end, overall positive, we stayed in a family room, this is 2 normal rooms joined, there has been an renovation her, but it is only partial and it is still rough round the edges. Overall the food quality is OK, food very samey, but OK for kids who will eat the same stuff.. After 1 week I am getting fed up, good breakfast if you like cheesy omelettes... There are 3 swimming pools, good condition.. But the water is cold, (colder then the sea). It is a bit of a walk to the beach but it is not bad.. The kids enjoyed the pirate ship.. They where a little small for the slides so cannot comment. Worth a 1 week trip.

Brilliant entertainment every night. Place kept lovely . friendly staff . rooms kept nice food could of been a bit better same stuff nearly every day . the meat wasn't cooked to brilliant standards . wasn't food poisoned but just didn't taste very nice. Swimming pool area was lovely for kids. Really enjoyed. Second pool area for adults and older children. And a lovely hot tub next to it. Only have pictures of the room.

No safety measures. No distancing enforced in common areas, pool, or restaurant. Long waiting lines to get to restaurant and no safety distance between tables. Poor quality of food and poor cleanliness of rooms. Not recommended. Safety hazards! Only 2 lifeguards on site having to close pools to cover others.

We stayed in Oasis Park splash at the end of Sept and as we booked through live holidays there was a bit of a panic that it was going to go totally wrong. The hotel was actually really nice and comfortable and in good distance from the beach and some shops. The hotel itself is mainly for families and there were a lot of kids all hours of the day. The cleaning service I thought was okay but they made our beds different every single day which surprised me and they mopped floors while we were watching which I find an awkward experience. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the dinners. I think all you can eats are great but it would have been nice to have the option of ordering off of a menu. We only ate in the hotel once and ate out the rest of the time. Also the drinks - if you are not all inclusive itms €5 per refillable of soft drinks which is fine. But my other half tried to fill up our drinks after we paid and they tried to charge him another €2 per drink. Staff at front desk were all helpful and polite

It really depends what you're looking for from your stay. I was looking for a nice family getaway and some extra sleep. I didn't get any of that. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a place to drink, let your kids run wild at all times and scream at the top of your lungs in the balcony at 2.30 am - this is a place for you! You might even make some friends here! Read carefully all the reviews and make an informed decision. Unlike me.

We really enjoy our holiday, until my Nan left her phone in the hotel reception on departure. I rung the hotel reception as soon as we realised which was about 20 minutes later. This was 5am so no one around the hotel. I called the mobile phone number to which a lady answered the phone and confirmed that the handset was at the hotel. After multiple emails to the reception who have not been helpful at all, and even having someone translate the emails to Spanish they have ignored every single email once they confirmed the phone was there. My Nan cannot afford just to replace a handset and it has sentimental photos on of her grandkids and great grand children. I’m really disappointed that such a family hotel could not be more helpful. We are now months later, with multiple phone calls and emails later and still no communication from the hotel. I will not be returning to the hotel, as it is very clear to me that they have no interest if your belongings are left or even communicating with us as soon as you’ve left.

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel after reading some of the negative reviews. We usually spend a lot more. You can see why this is more affordable, but it's really very good for the price. The food and drink were just like more expensive all-inclusive and the staff were better. Unfortunately, only two of the TV channels in our room were in English. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern.

Meal times particularly breakfast is a noisy chore, hotel full of mostly young families and it can get very noisy. Good selection of fresh fruits staff in Restaurant work very hard however, I feel meal times need to. Change The pool side is extremely packed and lacks space. Staff overall very good. Rooms are serviced every day and the staff work extremely hard. I feel if they found ways to improve mealtimes that would help.

While reading the reviews before hand I was terrified arriving to this hotel, to be honest our family enjoyed every minute of it, food was great water park the drinks everything, I couldn’t complain about anything, staff was so friendly also I would definitely recommend this hotel for family’s different pools for everyone to enjoy younger and older kids, We also booked marineland through the hotel we were given a map on we’re to get the bus which was only 5 min walk, also this was excellent for all ages, I hope in the near future I will return again.

The hotel itself is nice and clean but the pools are to small for how many people are there and definitely not enough sunlounges some staff was nice and some was rude but I think it's over priced for what you get and the views well ours was shocking

Perfect hotel if your holidaying with kids!!!! They have a schedule of entertainment for them from 9am to 10pm and they really do go all out on the entertainment it's amazing from magic shows, Disney shows to discos facepainting, balloon twisting, water games etc. They also have 3 pools for all ages and lifeguards on duty. Only small complaints would be the ridiculous bed war's in the morning of people stampeding at 9am to reserve sun beds but not sure what the hotel can do about that!

  • 2/5 Cyril M. 2 years ago on Google
Not a 4 stars hotel level at all. Room is rather small & functional (had water fall issue in bathroom, mini-fridge not working, outside light/noise coming into...), Buffet restaurant but acceptable for 10€ cost, swimming pool really small...

Spotlessly clean hotel. Maids daily and includes new towels and bedding. Room was quadripal and had 2 double beds pushed together, a hallway, a bathroom with bath an shower, a sofa bed and 2 flat screen tvs. Includes toiletries and was very clean. Waterside/splash area suitable for young ones. 2 bigger slides also. 2 Pools were quite small but adequate. There is an indoor pool which is chargeable. Staff friendly and helpful. All inclusive was worth the extra money even if just for snacks and drinks. We weren't overly impressed with meal times but mainly because alot of seafood included in this eg pizza, and the food wasn't clearly signed. Breakfasts were good as obvious to what the items were. Plenty of fresh fruit at each serving. A faf to get drinks from the All inclusive area as too small for the capacity. But drinks available from snack bar and queue went down quickly. Seen other reviews mention about slippy floors- this is due to people ignoring signs rather than the hotel. They do all they can to prevent it and any floor would be slippy if people are wet and walking on it. Location was great, short walk from beach, shops, bowling, crazy golf, indoor play area. Really nice place and family holiday.

I really don't get the bad reviews of this place... Rooms were nice, spacious and beds comfy. AC worked well, and power of shower was good. The only thing I would criticise about the room was that the wet room floor isn't sloped enough and the screen isnt deep enough, so the water does run into the main room if your not careful. We stayed all inclusive - now this is where some of the reviews start to baffle me.... Often done all inclusive, and it's pretty standard to have "own local brand" versions of spirits. Your not going to get your "MALIBU", You'll get an equivalent. This is standard and always has been, want the brand this is chargeable! Nothing new.. but I mean when you ask for shorts and mixer, it's at least half and half so really I don't get the grumbles. The food... Again... Reviews baffled me.... THIS IS MASS CATERING, of course it's going to be much of a muchness! Again, all inclusive has often been like this. However, always pastries, toast, cereals, eggs, meats (cooked and cold), yoghurt, fruit, coffee, fresh juice at breakfast; and lunch /evening meal, always pizza and chips, various meats and fish in various forms, pasta's, salads, and meat cooked fresh on the grill. On the grill, if it's not cooked long enough for your liking, they will cook longer for you, JUST ASK.... Lots of pudding options, beer, wine and soft drinks at both meals. Always something to choose; and I've got to be honest, never had a problem finding something to eat, and this always tasted great. People moaning about the pool side being slippy .... It's a pool side, with water, *spoiler alert* to quote bon Jovi - "Slippery when wet" 🤦yes kids slipped, however kids will run and kids will slip... I mean even if you don't run, you could slip, but I direct you back to Bon Jovi. The pools.... The children's pool- is amazing for kids, mine both loved it. Those complaining it's cloudy... This is a salt water pool, it is going to be cloudy, this is not due to being dirty.... There were two other pools, yes ok, not huge, but you can see this from the pictures..... For me a big plus was the three on site slides... Such a big win for me and my kids. Sunbed wars, yes, this still exists, always did, always will, get over it. It is what it is. Either hop on board to get one early or have to wonder around later in the day to find one. We never didn't get somewhere to sit though, and there are seats as well as sunbeds. Pool side bar was good, good snacks (toasties, burgers, ice cream, pop corn). It is the only bar, but never waited more than a few minutes to be served. We read ahead about the lift congestion - so I emailed ahead and asked for a low floor, AMAZING! Got the first floor, next to restaurant, overlooked pool, and own separate lift. Reception staff couldn't be more helpful. We asked for more pillows the first day, got delivered within the hour. Maids work amazingly hard, and from 6:30am, the grounds are a wash with service staff, cleaning poolside, the floors, beds, windows, tables... We were right above the kids pool, and right above the bar. Once the door was shut, there's barely a peep to be heard, and as I say, our AC was great, but even if we left the door open, we never found it so noisy it kept us awake. Location wise, you are a 10 minute walk to the beach front, with shops on the way, however, by being set back, this means the area around the hotel was also quiet, so little in the way of external noise All in all a great stay, would recommend, and would go again. ¡Gracias por una maravillosa estancia en el hotel!

Hotel is far too big for the amenities. Main pool is very small with no possibility to actually swim. Separate water slide section is good though. Food very repetitive even for all inclusive, with some peculiar combinations of salads. Combined bar, pool bar area is too small at peak times. Cocktails are non alcoholic unless you pay extra. This hotel seems to be mostly targeting the home, Spanish, trade.

  • 2/5 Alvaro Di T. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel, for starters, was not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. There are several pointers as to why I feel this way. 1) The pools were abundant, but there was a severe shortage of sunbeds available for the amount of guests that the hotel can hold. This limited the "pool time" strongly, as one had to resort to reserving them very early, with the risk of losing items placed on them. 2) While the rooms were inviting and cozy, the evenings were painful, as the light from the corridors would shine brightly underneath the door and make it difficult to sleep. On top of this, you can hear everything from literally 30 meters away, making privacy a thing of the past. 3) The staff, in their majority, was incredibly helpful and resourceful. However, there were certain requests that went unanswered. In our case at least, we had ordered 3 "picnic" meals to go to the airport with, since we were getting up early the day after. After making sure that we submitted the requests for the picnic meals, we found out the day after that our request was never logged and the meals weren't there. When we asked the "security" gentleman that was at the reception at 4am, he simply vanished for half an hour, claiming that he went to check in the kitchen if the meals had been left there. Outrageous, as he never arrived. 4) The hotel itself, as I stated before, is not 4 stars, or at least should not be. The location alone is compromising, as it's in a rather enclosed, mountainous steppe. There are very few attractions for children around the establishment, and most of the bars and restaurants strictly nearby were closed or abandoned. A shame, as most families that visit have kids and are subject to visit such a neglected part of town. All in all, a short week in Calella, but one that left many impressions, most of which weren't what one would expect to see in a hotel of such renown.

We had the best holiday here with our 2 boys. There was something to entertain the kids during the day as well as the water slides and pools. They really enjoyed the mini disco and evening entertainment. Food was lovely and plenty of variety each day... Beach was about 5-10min walk away and plenty of shops near beach to browse.

Can't fault the variety of food. The reception staff are very nice and for such a good price is a great little getaway for families. I wouldn't say so much for couples or adults only. It's clean, lovely staff with entertainment which again is nice for young families but not much going on after 10pm.

We travel a lot with family and this is the worst hotel that I so that has 4 stars. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the poorest city that half of restorance and bars is close for good, please check on google maps images before booking this hotel. We came with kids and outside of the hotel, we were not able to find any kid's entertainment area. The hotel its self looks new build but the images we see on booking.com are misleading, in images look like it has a lot of space outside but in reality, this hotel outside space is tiny and is overbooked by people. I'm not sure if our hotel room was clean properly because the fridge has previous people staff. At lunchtime, you need to make sure that you come to the hotel restaurant 10min before it's open, if not you will need to wait for 1hour in a queue because the dining area is too small compared with how many rooms have this hotel and you only have 2.30min for lunch. Once again we travel a lot with family and we know how should look 4 start hotel but hotel Osis Park Splash, in my opinion, should have max 1star, the swimming pool was missing tiles how can this hotel have 4 stars no clue ???

Hotel to small for amount of guests. So long ques for restaurant etc. Rooms a bit small but modern. Kids loved the pools. Food very repetitive, only 2 tiny lifts for 7 floors meant long waits as well. Entertainment was surprisingly quite good some nights. Illusion / magic show superb
