Lovely clean rooms, friendly staff. Kids entertainment at night very good but then the after shows very poor. Pools clean and well looked after but freezing cold even after full day of hot sunshine. Beach looks nice but not sandy more shales. Dog poo everywhere on streets outside. Few nice local bars and markets. Our room was above entertainment, big mistake deafening till after 11.30. Warm inside pool but very salty not sure why! Food good choice and fresh but tea and coffee would be nice throughout day not just on morning.

Well what can I say WHAT AN AMAZING HOTEL. This hotel has it all amazing staff, fantastic rooms, incredible food, outstanding entertainment. If you go to this hotel and don't have an amazing time it's you and not the hotel. I really can not recommend this hotel enough 3 pools an aqua park with all the slides just an incredible hotel.

Excellent, fabulous, brilliant. Hotel is immaculate, bright and well kept. Rooms are spotless and beautifully made up. Staff were helpful, friendly and polite. Food was plentiful and delicious. Location right on sea front, 5 minutes from train direct to Barcelona and 10 minutes walk from town centre. All I can say is if you haven't been you're missing something great.

Rooms are very modern and very clean. Lovely rainfall shower. Good selection of food varies daily. No tea bags at breakfast would have been my only gripe. Luckily, I brought my own. 2 very nice outdoor pools, plenty of sun beds. Beach just across the road.

This is overpriced old hotel with limited services in the middle of nowhere. We stayed here in August 2023. It celebrated 60 years and you can see and feel it is old. However many new blocks were build in a course of 60 years and it is now overcrowded - too many people and you will wait everywhere. Rooms are ok, but almost no amenities, they are not refilled and cleaning is quite quite poor. Food is awful. Cheap, prepared for a big mass of people, not good at all. The sea is good, but you have to cross the railroad to get there. Did they tell about the railroad right in front of hotel? Railroad, Carl, with trains every 20-30 minutes. Some shows they have are not bad. But too late and some are too loud. We had kids who wanted to slip and it was not fun. The resume is that golden hotels are very bad while charging like crazy.

Overall a positive experience. Location is not that great but you have good connections and you can easily go to another beach. Food was diverse, entertainment diverse, pool area diverse. Of course it’s not perfect and there will always be bits and bobs to improve, but overall you can have a good time and relax.

This is a lovely clean hotel with numerous pools, one with a pool bar. Staff are really friendly. Cleaners do a fantastic job. The buffets are really good, something different every day, alongside the staples, although in the morning, the baked beans are nearly cold, but there is a microwave near the drinks dispensers. They do cater for different nationalities, and there is an amazing amount of choice so you'll always leave full up. I did find some of the meat, chicken in particular, was hard/overcooked but that was was my only niggle. If you didn't like it, leave it and get something else. Overall, one of the best hotels we've stayed in, just across the road from the beach. I'm sure we would come back in the future, but have other destinations to explore first Evening entertainment is so so. Once the mini disco is done, starts at 10pm, but leaves a lot to be desired IMHO. There's no night life in Pineda that we found so head right for 10 or so minutes at the seafront to Calella. Overall, excellent hotel and highly recommended.

Top place to have a decent holiday. The location is just amazing. In front of the sea 🙂 We had a room with pool view, however it is amazing as u are waking up with the sea in front of you. So many activities for the kids. And also the resort has its own water park . A big big thanks to all staff from the reception cleaning chefs and literally all off the people working in there. 100000% going back . I also forgot the resort got so many outdoor pools and one indoor.

Spent four nights at the Golden Taurus in the middle of October. Despite winding down for finishing up for the season, there has been no let up in cleanliness, staff were grandly and welcoming, facilities were clean and even though I had no children with me, I could see that children of all ages were catered for. The food in the restaurant was amazing for both breakfast and evening meals. Always plenty of food available. I just wanted to say that one of the staff members ‘Kinga’ (I think her name was), was brilliant, she remembered who I was and as I had a crutch, she was straight over to see if I needed anything. As for location, the area we were in was beautiful. We were a stones throw away from the beach, the train station was only 15 minute walk away, cheap travel to Barcelona €11 return, and a lovely town area with plenty of shopping. I would recommend this place for anyone.

Let's get the negatives out of the way first. We had a week here in mid October and found out 2 things on arrival. One was that everyone has to pay tourist tax (not mentioned anywhere) and the second blow was that the water park was closed (also no mention of this) However, the hotel is massive, very clean with excellent facilities such as several swimming pools, plenty of bars and 2 pool tables. All of the staff were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the service and the local area. We didn't eat at restaurant mainly because we like exploring and going to little cafés and other restaurants. The bedroom had a stunning view of the pools and the beach. Despite the two very trivial negative points I would happily give this top marks. I would definitely return, even if it was for a quick stop for a cocktail.

Great modern hotel, plenty of beds around the pools. Theres a quiet pool and one where everything is going on, so its whatever youre in the mood for. Theres an onsite water park which was great fun. The rooms are lovely, very clean and surprisingly comfy beds. Air con is included. We went bed and breakfast, the breakfast selection was fab. Reasonably priced alcoholic drinks however i found the soft drinks were quite expensive ( i had to drink wine mostly was more cost effective 😂) Outside the resort theres a lovely beach which wasnt overly busy. If you're looking for night life youd have you go 10 min up the road in a taxi to Callela. But to be honest the entertainment in the hotel is great. There is a train/tram that goes into Callela regularly €5 euros return but stops between 1pm and 4pm. Taxi one way is about €7/8. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Would recommend the all-inclusive package as theres not alot around in the way of restaurants etc there is a beach bar within walking distance and menu isnt great. Unless youre wanting to go off out every day its worth having food/snacks and drinks included.

Fantastic hotel. Fun entertainment crew to entertain you and your kids at the swimming Pool area during the Day, and games/shows during the evening in the Bar area. Great variety of food during breakfast lunch and diner. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach.

Stayed here many times for family holidays. The staff are top notch and go out their way to help. The facilities are excellent - we love the new water park! Food is fantastic - great mix, plus some genuine Spanish dishes to round it out.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and went out of their way to go the extra mile. My only reservation was the noise that could be heard from adjoining rooms and corridors. I'm guessing that's down to the building being of older design, and there's not a lot that can be done to enhance soundproofing. Other than that the rooms were modern, clean and tidy. The shower was very powerful, and the balcony had a great view. One suggestion for potential enhancement, would be the Laundry facilities off Reception. It was difficult to get a washing machine at times, due to there being only 2 there. Given the amount of people using same, it might be an idea to look to extend all the facilities currently in that area. All in all, a very good and enjoyable vacation was had.

Was here for 1 week. Was a really nice time here with girlfriend and other family members. Honestly my only negative is not a massive amount to do around the area other than the beach and some shops to visit. But on the otherside to that if you want to stay in the hotel grounds then this looked to be the best I saw around and the staff are excellent and helpful with anything you ask of them. Always something to do from the pool, beach over the road, little train going around the area outside the hotel, bus stop also right there. And entertainment on every day in the day and of an evening, and kids club seemed to always be doing something with the kids in the morning and even of an evening so you can watch the entertainment that night without the kids around your feet.

This is a great place to bring kids, very child friendly hotel with kids club and entertainment. Rooms are basic but clean and perfectly fine. Snack bar operates all day, bar at each pool. There is an activity pool where ball games are allowed and a quieter pool. Recommend for families with younger kids.

Hotel: When we got to the hotel they received us with open arms. They checked us in and gave us all the information that we needed. The staff is super nice and helps you when you have questions. Don’t be scared if you can’t speak Spanish, neither did we. They can speak Spanish, French and English, so communication is definitely not a problem! There were a couple stores nearby which was super handy. When you needed a little snack or some water, you could just cross the street to get some because of all the little stores next to the hotel. There is also a Carrefour at about 700 meters from the hotel. It’s only a 10 minute walk and it has all the stuff you might need. In the evening there is a mini disco for the kids and during the day they can also craft all together and make some cool drawings + do other fun things. Food: There is a huge buffet every morning, midday and evening. For breakfast there were eggs, omelette, pancakes, potatoes, salads, baguette, bread (+ a toaster if you want to make toast), waffles, churros, English breakfast (beans, sausages, ...), cereal and so much more! We didn’t take the “All Inclusive” option so I’m not sure what you get for lunch but I am pretty sure that it’s also eggs, pancakes, bread and food like that. For dinner there was pizza every night (all kinds of pizza, which was a bonus point), fries, sausages, durum, salad, chicken (such as Tikka , chicken breast, ...), steak, salmon, pasta (you can add your own sauce of choice, for example, bolognese sauce), vol-au-vent, croquettes, soup, ... + there is also a vegetarian option. LET’S NOT FORGET THE DESSERTS!!! The desserts were beyond amazing. You could choose between ice cream, chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, vanilla cake, many different fruits, ... There were also many other desserts but I do not remember what they were called. Also; in the evening you have to pay for your drinks. The drinks were not expensive at all so that wasn’t a problem for us. Water was €1.50, soda’s were €2.30 and 1/4 red wine was only €2.50. As you can see it’s not expensive at all so drink as much as you’d like! Rooms: They cleaned the rooms every single day and left them super clean. We also got new towels every day which was really good. If you want them to change your towel, you have to pur your towels on the ground so they know whether to change them or not. The view was also really pretty. Depending on which side of the hallway your room was, one side gave you a view of the sea and the other side gave you a view of the pool. Pools: There are 5 pools I think and a couple slides. You’d think the pools would be crowded because of all the kids but they’re actually really not. Most people prefer sunbathing over swimming so there aren’t a lot of people in the pool. Things to do (not in the hotel): We went on a trim to Barcelona for 1 day. You have to take the tram to go there and it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. It sounds really long but I promise you that it’s so worth it. We took the tram at 9am, so we could start exploring Barcelona at 10:30am. Make sure to get to the station on time because there aren’t a lot of trams. Overall I would REALLY recommend this hotel. We had an amazing time there and would definitely visit again. Enjoy your holiday!!

Stayed here from 1st August to 6th for a short break. Very clean hotel throughout, and the rooms were spotless. Could have done with a daily maid service but as we are a tidy couple, it wasn't a problem. We couldn't fault the food because the main hot dishes were changed every day as was the fish menu. Great tasty sweet dishes and a carvery of cheeses. Salads are basically the same but there was plenty of it and fruit as well. My grandson and I especially liked the soup and rolls. Plenty of activities for the children with evening entertainment for all ages. All the hotel staff we found were very helpful and friendly. We did encounter a couple of problems though. Our daughter had some items go missing from her room, which we reported and the management are looking into this. Also my wife was injured when a sun parasol was blown out of it's base due to high winds, and struck her on the arm, which is bruised, and hit her on the side if the head. Now we are back home, my wife is seeking medical help. The towns around the hotel are working areas, geared up for the local community, but still interesting to see.

The hotel was clean and welcoming, the restaurant was nice and the rides were perfect! Especially there are many water slides! A recommended hotel for a family holiday! The only thing is that there is no commercial street outside the hotel, which is desolate! But the inside of the hotel is still good!

Pros: Quick Check in, really helpful reception staff, evening entertainment is amazing!! Hotel is spotless and all bar and restaurant staff were really helpful and friendly. Also the man that works out the front - he was a diamond. He helped us set up the electric bikes. Kellie on reception is a Gem. The staff really do go above and beyond to make your stay extra special. This hotel is amazing for families! Room was clean, and fresh towels everyday. Beach is literally 2 min walk plus it’s so quiet it’s like having the whole beach to yourself. We went on jet skis 10 min walk from the hotel. We played tennis, used the indoor pool/ outdoor pool, my daughter went to the mini disco and all of it is fab. Con: the aqua park wasn’t open, we were not informed before booking. We would of still come anyway but would of been good to know before hand.

Stayed 6th June 2023 for 7 nights, had the most amazing time. Went with my partner and our 2 kids aged 12 and 6 and a few other family members. Checking into the room was earlier than I thought it would be so glad about that. Room was lovely with the view of mountains and the water park, cleaned daily. Food was lovely, different variety. We went all inclusive so had snack bar included, loads of different things to have in between meals, magnums, ice lollies, toasties, baguettes, fries, hot dogs etc. Location was great, was nice having the sea literally over the road, we walked to calella each morning after breakfast which only took about 20/25minutes and then stopped at a cafe for a drink before going round the shops, was a lovely walk each morning. Kids club was brilliant, my 6 year old loved it, kids disco on the evening was great, the kids club entertainers was amazing, got everyone up to join in. Evening entertainment was brilliant especially the hotel kids entertainers doing the golden taurus 60th anniversary. Enough sunbeds round the pools so no need for anyone to put towels down, some people put towels down and whilst we was there was not seen for ages and then came back hours later to collect the towels and not even use them. Loads to do during the day at the hotel, football, water polo etc. overall we had the most amazing week, we booked straight back up the day we got home to come back next year but for 11 nights, can't wait!

We got nice room with sea view. Room was recently renovated. Had quite large bathroom. One disadvantage was that we had extra bed and the room was too small for 3 beds. Beakfasts were great- variety of choices, delicious waffles. Hotel in a quiet part of town, except for the trains that go up till 11 pm or so. But during the day it is not disturbing unless you need real silence. Nice a large pool area- every one will find their spot.

We spent a wonderful week in this hotel. Everything was perfect. I want to start with the stuff… from house keeping, reception, restaurant, bar, kids club to animation everybody was extremely friendly, helping and caring. We never experienced this kindness somewhere before. The room was also perfect and clean. The house keeping kept it clean every single day. The food in the restaurant was every day different and very tasty. The slides were my kids dream come true. And the pool area was also very clean and nice to relax. The area is very nice to make some trips. Supermarket is also close. We used a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel (shuttle direct), which also worked out perfect. One thing really disturbed us, but we can’t blame the hotel for it. There were a lot of adults the behaved very poorly, because of their alcohol consumption. It’s a family hotel, where everybody should feel safe and good. My son was even afraid to use the same elevator with those drunken people. I don’t know how this problem can be solved, but maybe the hotel management can do something about it. We will surly come again 🤗

Great hotel! The exterior is beautiful and staff are lovely, it’s great for families of all sizes and is placed perfectly since you have direct access to the beach, local shops, public transport and entertainment. The only issue we ran into was our room not being prepared in time which resulted us into finding ways to keep ourselves busy for an hour. This gave a bad first impression, but it was quickly recovered when the lovely staff gave us ideas on what we could do and visit.

Hotel is beautiful, modern, all workers really kind. Entertainment for everyone. Really great shows on the evening. Food was amazing and so many choices. My 13th years daughter said I would give them 5⭐ The only minus is on full board you have to pay extra for soft drinks, would be better if you up your price a bit and serve soft drinks for everyone. Except that everything was perfect👌

Lovely hotel, rooms very clean and clean in general. Pools are lovely Great space and good for the kids. The beach is literally 2 min walk from the hotel which I loved it. Animation team are absolutely amazing, they are the best. My daughter loved every single activity, kids club, mini water disco and mini disco & face painting every night was the best part I even enjoyed the mini disco every night! Great guys, they come out of their way to please the kids and parents too. Thank you all the animation team for making this holiday so special for my little one! They also do activities for adults all day long, I tried the aqua fit class every morning which was very nice. Restaurant is lovely too, great standard food and lots of fresh fruits! Very clean too . Water park was so much fun too very well organized especially the slides for the kids! Receptionists were very helpful and polite and the cleaners too thank you guys! The only problem I had was the WiFi in my room wasn’t working at all. Not great especially when we use iPads and phones to connect everywhere so they did offer me to change the room which was nice but I believe the management team have to consider to get some boosters in the rooms on the second floor. Apart from that we had an amazing family holiday, most importantly kids friendly and I highly recommended it. Lots of love to animation team from Penelope

Very good hotel! Great view, great food, friendly staff, large swimming area, good rooms. I really recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back. Thank you for the perfect family holiday!

Rooms were adequate and clean, aqua park advertised as open it was closed, a long the beach front advertised as shops being open shutters all down. Entertainment in hotel poor, kids entertainment went on till 10pm followed by a man blowing bubbles and a lady making pictures with sand not good at all. All inclusive snacks poor and some staff miserable and not very welcoming. Would not recommend. Costa brava if you want extra quiet holiday go here

Hotel is fantastic, entertainment during the day is spot on for all ages. Service during meals isn't so great. Food is fairly good too. Night entertainment is repetitive for adults but kids will love it. Beach is just across road but you have all you need at hotel. If you book all inclusive be wary cos not everything is included! First time with been, but it's worth going back for sure.

Lovely family hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. Spacious rooms, 4 pools, water park (which is great for all ages from toddler to adult). Staff are helpful, resort is super clean and everything you need it close by (on your door step). Only slight niggle is meals are served quite late (of you have young children that are up early and in bed early).
