Great place to go snorkeling with kids since there are shallow pools with fish. The best can get a bit crowded during peak season, but it is a stunning location.

Einer unserer Lieblingsstrände an der Costa Brava zwischen Blanes u LLoret de Mar. Im Mai/Juni nicht zu stark besucht. Der Strand ist bewirtschaftet und verfügt über ein Restaurant. Es gibt auch Liegen u Sonnenschirme zu mieten. Rechts davon befindet sich die Cala Treumal. Einfach nur wunderschön! Auch hier gibt es Liegen u Schirme und auch eine kleine Bodega in einem Pinienwald, Toilette auch verfügbar. Dort kann man es sich richtig gut gehen lassen :))) Habe leider nur Fotos von Cala Treumal

Extremely comfortable beach and the services it offers. You need transport from Lloret del Mar, there is a bus running to it. The beach is very clean and well organised. What I mostly (extremely) liked is that the type of vacationers are completely different than those in Lloret del Mar where quiet everything seems over exploits. There is a very comfortable parking next to the beach. Highly recommend to a responsible tourist that wants some decent, quite and clean holiday. Good for families as well. There is a restaurant Albamar, in front of the beach; extremely good food (high quality - for those that really understand and value healthy local products). Staff was very polite and professional. Congrats to all that preserves this beach and the services around it.

Highly recommend this Costa Brava beach! About an hour drive north of Barcelona. Clean beach and crystal clear water, great amenities (bar), and a parking lot. Keep in mind that the parking lot closes at 9pm. We were there for one hour and it was €1 for parking.

Went around 1 on a Friday in early June and found the ideal beach experience here. Not crowded, comfy sun chair / umbrella rentals (though 8 euros each). Water was clean and clear, and the sand was perfectly gravelly. Clean bathrooms at both the parking lot and the beach.

The best beach I have ever been to! It's just great! Very clean... You can enjoy snorkling. Very gradual sandy beach. There are some rocks you can swim to and enjoy the view there also. The sand allows you to play and build stuff. There is a parking lot near the beach. You don't have to worry about your car getting broken into.

Santa Cristina Beach is a fantastic beach to visit. It is a child-friendly beach, with good facilities, such as toilets, lifeguards, good parking conditions, beach chair hire and good places to eat. You should be aware that the parking area is approximately 500 meters from the beach and it costs 1.75 euros per hour to park. The path down to the beach is a bit steep and people with mobility problems may have some difficulty getting down to the beach. I recommend taking swimming shoes with you, as there is a rock formation out in the water that is really exciting to get to, but you need swimming shoes, otherwise the rest of the beach is a sandy beach where swimming shoes are not necessary. We will give this beach 5 stars - ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Seems to be the best beach in the area, difficult access makes it less crowded. Gentle slope means that children can enjoy the sea. A rock outcropping in the middle of the beach won be of interest to a casual snorkeler.

Nice beach with a zone for small kids up to 10y. The water was very clean and the sand was the finest I found on the beaches around Tossa. Very nice beach even for a full vacation. There are many thigs one can do in the city, next cities or in the surrounding area. Restaurant not too expensive, parking a bit far and up on the hill. Definitely it is a destination to return at least once!

Schöne erholsame Gegend mit weißen Stränden, viele kleine Inseln einfach mit kleinen Schiffen erreichbar, viel erkunden & Sehenswürdigkeiten bewundern. Barcelona ist in 20minuten mit einem Zug erreichbar.

We came there a bit late (5pm), but we had a nice 3 hours to enjoy the landscape of beautiful beach. Right behinde the rocks, there is another small part of the beach with a great restaurant. There is a parking at the beach and it costa 1,7€/h, or you can pay a full day for less. Downside was that every kitchen in all restaurants works until 5pm and we were hungry. Other than that, I recommend you to visit this beautiful beach, it worths the driving from Barcelona.

Beautiful beach, much better for swimming than Blanes town beach as it doesn't fall away as quickly, very scenic drive and walk way down to it, restaurant's are a bit pricey though for what you get

Guardia civil ship!!! Why we have this government ship coming to close water to the beach and polluting the water with its huge old diesel engines, where all tourists are swimming. This ship goes to every popular beach at costa brava and it is super annoying. Tourists come here in Spain because of clear water. There are already plenty of tourist ships stopping by on all popular beaches that should be stopped or limited to minimum! Please do something and stop the this government Guardia civil ship and other big ships coming close water to the beach, to stop the pollution. Meanwhile I will be looking for another country to do my vacation

Cute medium sized beach. Some days water is clear and snorkeling near the rocks is great. Super crowded on weekends. Waves are small but it’s quite deep for kids

Very clean and beautiful beach, definitely worth visiting.

The beach is very beautiful, sandy, clear water. What it is a big regret is that they allow large vessels to stop at the beach, so they have a large area blocked that cannot be used by people for swimming. It seemd that business is priority they just want to make money, big shame.

I suppose the most beautiful beach from Tarragona to France!
