A guest to a member is denied access to almost everything, even their jogging tracks. A guest is denied a feedback form. They gave me a feeling of me, an intruder in their premises. One of the oldest and important clubs in the Hyderabad - Secunderabad area. Great place for members to participate in club activities and to host events which could be participated by outsiders. Has a good amount of parking, good security, and even a petrol station inside.

Best place for sporty people.! Badminton, Gym, Squash, Basketball, TT, Cricket, Swimming Etc... A lovely ambience in lawn area.

As affiliated members we got to stay at the cottages there. Clean and comfortable rooms. Food is also good. A good walk around the club in the mornings are exceptional.

One of the oldest clubs in Hyderabad. It's a very prestigious club. There are almost all facilities like tennis, swimming, football, cricket and also indoor games. It is also know for its heritage building and largest private library. There is open air theatre which is fun to watch under open sky. It is well connected to the city and close to the cantonment area.

A club for old timers and young who prefer the Antique,laid back life style.Either with friends or with family a great place to spend your evenings,or a weekend,Members have a whole lot of reasons to spend time here be it the library or tennis courts and swimming pools.

Place is good. But no place for waiting for guests. Our host was caught in traffic jam and we had to wait in car for them to arrive. The dining hall is quite ancient but aircondition was not functioning. Library is excellent and washrooms are excellent. Price for members are extremely low. Service by waiters is good, not quick. Overall very very good and memorable.

I love this place On Saturdays, we wear “stunning”. Keep making pour decisions on a Saturday night. You can sip with us on Saturday. She smells like Saturday clubs and sundown shots. Keep your Saturday glowing with party lights. Let's meet halfway on a Saturday night.

Lovely place to stay. The rooms are huge and fairly clean. The campus is wonderful for walking around. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Try the sailing club annexe also, even though the stench of sewage can be occasionally overpowering

Very quaint,classy and old school decor & ambience. The food is remarkably good. We tried the tandoor and the continental main course menus. The pizzas were yum and so was the roast lamb in brown sauce. But the real show stopper were the tandoori prawns. Cooked to absolute perfection!

Good place. Only if you have membership you can enter. But for the price they charge it's not great. Rooms are big but not maintained upto the mark. Facilities in room doesn't work and staffs are not bothered much. Not highly recommended.

The Secunderabad Club is one of the oldest clubs in India which was built during the British Era. One of the few clubs to have their own petrol pump inside the club. The club has many beautiful lawns and gardens. Their banquet rooms are elegant and the food and service is good.

The club the very old and very well maintained. The rooms are awesome and the quality of food and superb. It is value for money. Only thing is club have certain rules which I think club must inform in advance to the guest via a note in all the rooms.

As exclusive as premier clubs go. This one is rich with history but has kept up pace with the times. Needless to say that the exclusivity is zealously guarded but once you have made past the barrier, you cant help feeling pampered. Enough options for leisurely activities, carefully curated menu, tastefully done ambience and an opportunity to socialise with eminent folks of the town.

In my opinion Secunderabad club is a beautiful place to relax and rejuvenate... A very calm and beautiful place surrounded with trees best suited for senior citizens who are there to spend some quality time with their loved ones away from the hustle of the city. It has the best state of the art amenities and elaborate spots complex which includes a basketball court a tennis court a swimming pool badminton court and many more which can be checked on the club's official website. The food is very sumptuous and worth a try, the club also organises live events now and then. All in all the club is the best place to visit for a quiet brunch or dinner or even to spend a weekend with your family

It a very beautiful place with historical building from the British era. The ambiance wonderful and has a beautifully maintained garden. They have fixed daily menu. Which is good and very reasonable. Photography not allowed inside the premises. Kids are not allowed in several lounges and areas of this Club.

Good is great and reasonably priced. Liquor could be made a little less expensive as a club. Service is good and offers almost all the facilities as a club should. Transit rooms are great attraction for club users.

(a) Approach: Located on the busy Karkhana Road,it requires immense patience to reach here. There is sufficient parking place available in the Secunderabad club which was constructed in the 19th Century by the Britishers and it is truely an epitome of modern construction in Salubrious Secunderabad. (b) Dress Code : Formal Shirt with trousers/Polo with Neatly ironed trousers accompanied by a Blazer for winters. (c) Introduction: Members are required to carry with them their Card which needs to be topped up at the entrance. (d) Highlights : Had walked in on a Sunday to enjoy a pet show organised here. I have visited in the evenings as well and enjoyed my drink along with snacks sitting in the perfectly manicured lawns of the Secunderabad Club.There’s always the privilege of witnessing Aircraft from the Neighboueing Air Force station at Hakimpet fly by. The quality of food is good,waiters are courteous and polite and the food is served within good time steaming hot. (e) Amenities : The Secunderabad club has got a number of ammenities to in life Petrol reguelling station,Guest Rooms,Swimming Pool,Billiards and a large library. (f) Value for Money : Thie place is good value for money which I would recommend to visit and would love to return soon.

The location, garden area is really nice, Food taste is excellent and very economically priced which cannot be compared. Staff is cooperative. Although rooms are spacious However toilets aren't proper, taps are leaking and foul drainage smell comes AC cooling is improper . Maintenance overall has to be improved . Room no 16 was staying

We were about 15 guys planned to catch up for a dinner. Parking was hassle free as the security guided us at the parking. The parking space was good enough to accommodate around 50 vehicles and there are many such spaces. The club looks beautiful with trees and lighting (no scenic pictures were clicked). We were properly guided to the dining hall. It was committee members chamber. We ordered Veg Manchurian, sago appa, mutton fry, pea nuts, prawns, chicken fry, paneer pizza, roti and chicken curry, mutton biryani. All the items were tasty especially mutton fry, paneer pizza, roti and chicken curry and mutton biryani. The meat was soft and tender. I liked the service there. In fact I liked every moment I spent there. Finishing the meal with Fruit custard cake was amazing. I give food, service and ambience 5/5.

It's a nice place. Try to maintain it. You have to protect the environment and antiques witch are donated to the club by the military personnel and by the prominent personalities of Hyderabad.

This place is spacious, lots of good food, with variety. Elder and kid friendly. Guests need to come with members. There's sports, supermarket, fuel, guest rooms, banquets, bakery, library, cricket ground, tennis, squash, badminton, Futsal, swimming pool etc.

The club is spread over a large area and has great sports facilities. Was surprised that it has a cricket ground too! The restaurant has really great kebabs compliments on that. The bar is open and with an old world charm. Would be great to have a few more beer brands but that is really splitting hair. The cottage room are clean and spacious, breakfast as a part of room booking was a pleasant surprise. Only down side, if you are looking to visit places in Hyderabad then you have a commute on hand. The upside is that after your sight seeing get back to the club get a shower, hit the bar and you don't have to drive!

A good club, erstwhile British origins, later managed by army. Now managed by a mix of army and civilian management. Interiors very well managed. Outer facade deserves attention. Good eating options. Sundays buffets are hit. Reasonable rates.sports include badminton,squash,tennis table tennis,basket ball. Has a sailing annexe near tank bund.

Nice place, with a multitude of indoor and outdoor seating options. Food is decent. The seating on the lawns outside was quite unexpected - they lay out rows of tables and chairs, and there are 8-10 stall-type kitchens where the servers bring food from. Besides food, the place has the usual 'club' amenities like swimming pool, billiards table, card room, etc. Membership or being accompanied by a member is mandatory for entering the place. Smart casuals with collars and covered footwear (for men) is mandatory.

The one Star I'm giving is only because the food was good so really it's more for the chefs than anyone else. Otherwise the place deserves a huge zero. Why they treat the members guests like they don't matter, is beyond me. Don't visit this place unless you are ready to live in the British Raj mindset again. I don't want to waste anyone's time especially mine, trying to explain the nonsense they put my senior citizen family member and myself through, plus others, who came to a private, close knit family function here. Such a disappointing place.

Okay I'm not sure a review can explain how beautiful this place is. It's an honor to be a member of this club and use the facilities at the club. The food is as good as any 5 star hotel. A good majority of the members are retired army/navy/airforce/ips/ias officers and their children. Overall the epitome of royalty

It remains an classic old time charm club and am certain after renovation will come back to old glory.The rooms though old need lot of maintenance and the service is except.The food is exceptionally good and reasonable .The breakfast is substantial and covers vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.The thin crust pizzas and mutton biryani are truly classic dishes and recommended.

I guess the club culture cannot be liked by each and every person. Depends on their personal choice. Food is not great, even on weekdays they take a lot of time being your food, taste it average, many things simple food like zeera rice is not available they said which i found funny. Well, i guess we can go there for amenities and as a member you can have fun but not as a guest.

Stayed as a guest at the club s transit quarters . While the food and the ambience of the club was wonderful the transit quarters were a let down . The rooms were comparatively clean but the toilets were in a terrible state. Dirty , with stained walls , entering it was a night mare . The closet seat was broken and the the corners of the toilet were black from not being cleaned . This is one of the most prestigious clubs in the country, and to see the way it is being maintained was disheartening. Hope the concerned authorities will take action
