Good place to visit with friends and family. It takes about 3 hours to cover the entire premises leisurely. Entry ticket is Rs.50 per person. Better carry snacks and water. Main attractions are the President's Building, Tunnel, Herbal garden, Rock garden, Nakshatra Vatika, Knowledge Gallery, etc. You can get tickets online. As its Cantonement area, better carry helmet for pillion rider (for two wheeler). Some parts are still being developed and overall its well maintained.

Must see historic complex for all the school.and college students and their parents too, especially the latest interpretation and the nature Culture connect. The wells have been restored and the gardens have a lot to learn from nature. So glad to learn that this is another hidden gem of Hyderabad, and the brightest one!

One of its kind, which is now open for public to be proud to see and understand the history of India, architecture and the thought process behind the building names, garden names/design, calligraphy, huge domestic and international gifts. A must visit for the children's. Guides are available around to connect immediately and guide you in person. Overhelming response from the staff. Ticket per person is 50 rs for the maintenance. 2-3 hours is the tour time inside the campus. Huge parking is available. Tickets are available online and offline as well.

One of the retreat of the President of India. The President usually visits in November or December. That time no public visit. Aftet entry, initially visited to new inaugurated Art Gallery where there are 9 enclave (parts) which will be guided by guides (scholars). Need to allow photography inside Mains building too. Because that's the state of the art. Best think is scholars (guides). Which are serving through govt. They will guide throughout visit. Need some more English medium guide too. Overall it's wonderful experience to visit the most sophisticated, luxurious of our first citizen of india.

Good place to visit along with family or a bunch of friends. You will definitely learn some new things too! Pls note that the whole visit involves a good amount of walking (5km approx),so please carry some snacks along ( they are must to keep you going till the end !) Water and washrooms are widely available inside . Was informed that there are battery driven cars ONLY for the Elderly. It can take you approx 3hrs to complete the entire visit inside. Good time would be to visit after lunch so that you dont get tired out or have to break for lunch in btwn. There is free & ample parking space. There is a cafeteria in front of the entry gate where you can get some snacks, but no such provision inside the rashtrapati nilayam. Tickets can be bought online or at the office next to the parking. The BEST part about the entire visit is the GUIDES provision. You will be constantly informed and helped about by the Guides inside and they enlighten us about the things inside. Very informative and courteous. They are appointed by the Rashtrapati nilayam and you need not pay them a penny. Maze garden, flag post and many other things for kids etc are under construction and will be open for the public soon, if you are local to hyderabad then plan your visit once they are ready so that you wont miss them. Overall a Great visit and must visit for CURIOUS minds ! Ps:Dont go with very high expectations, you MIGHT get disappointed if out and out fun is your first priority !

President of India’s official residence- Rashtrapati Nilayam General public can take a tour of the 76 acre campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., each day. Rashtrapati Nilayam has a herbal garden which has 116 varieties of medicinal plants. Visitors are not allowed to carry eatables or water bottles during the tour. They should also not carry briefcases, handbags, mobile phones, radio or transistors during the visit. But however they'll allow mobile to carry. Closed on every Monday and on public holidays. On other days it's open from 10 to 5. It's a very peaceful, clean and green place. It's better to do online booking before deciding to go. Ticket price is Rs. 50 for Indian citizens above eight years of age. Went on a Sunday which also happened to be Bhogi/Lohri but it was not crowded. Photography is not allowed in the main building but is allowed elsewhere. There is a stepwell, a tunnel, a children's play area, herbal garden, two fountains, a flag post, a museum, a temporary stall by Ramkrishna Mission where books were available for as low as 15 rupees. A canteen is there which is right opposite the entrance to the rashtrapati nilayam. The food was quite good and reasonable. To give an idea, Poori bhaji is for Rs. 125. Curd rice for Rs. 90. There is ample parking and golf cart for senior citizens. Wear comfortable footwear as it's big and requires a lot of walking. It takes one to two hours to complete.

Place for the southern sourjoun for President of India. Typically President spends nearly last week of the calendar year here. Its a huge area covering over 98 acres and best part is that over 90% is covered with greenery. The place is pretty much hidden in the greenery. Guess there must be an effort to showcase the rich heritage of this place as well as provide more details about various Presidents. This I feel is just being used as a park and that makes us pretty unhappy about it.

Good place. Maintenance at top notch. when opened to public go and have a look. people are not allowed inside the house. we are allowed to roam around the Bhavan. Small Rock garden, Nakshatra park, are bit attraction. Do not expect too much.

It was my first time here and the place is filled with a wide range of plants and trees all around. There are well informed tour guides inside, our guide was Vishwa teja and he was with us the whole time explaining every corner, thanks if you are reading this. Just take a water bottle with you and enjoy the walk.

A quite simple serene retreat house for the India’s First person. This retreat house surrounded with lush green flowers & gardens. Peaceful place with lot of security all over and guarded very well. It has two entrances. This entire estate is flourished across 97 acres almost with a very few structures supporting staff quarters and utilities related to serve the President of India whenever he/she comes for their winter camp for 10-15 days approximately. This estate has 3 beautiful step-wells with an aquaduct connecting to dobhi ghat. There are some more interesting things about this estate. Generally it will be opened for public in month of January or so after the completion of president’s camp/visit. Great place to visit. It was constructed during the times of Nizams with complete Colonial and Indo Saracenic Architectural style. It has peacocks also. Parking is available out of the estate. Gardens may or maynot be differently abled friendly.

Originally this palace was constructed in 1860 by Nizam Nazir-ud-Dowla. It became the country house of the British Resident at Secunderabad. Then today's the official residence of the President of India. It was thrown open for public viewing from 1 January to 10 January, with entry being free.
