Sad to say that such a prestigious hotel is loosing its lustre. The rooms are so rundown and noisy. The upkeep of rooms is so bad. Last few visits of my I had the same issue repeating and no one is ready to rectify it. The hotel is so busy that they hardly get time to maintain it seems. This place needs severe refurb urgently. It’s unnecessarily spoiling such a good Taj brand. Even buffet service and quality has gone down.

My wife and I stayed at the iconic Taj Krishna in May 2021 during the lockdown, as our first night together following our wedding that day. Check-in/out and general hospitality were up to Taj standards - no problems there. I had often visited the salon at Taj Krishna for my haircuts with Shridhar, and Golden Dragon for top-notch Chinese dining - I am no stranger to this property. This one-star review is due to the fact that we were served stale pizza that smelled like it was left out for a day. How do I explain that to my wife on our first night together? I get that it was peak lockdown time and hotel occupancy was at an all-time low, but that is no excuse for serving stale food in in-room dining. This kind of experience brings down the legacy and reputation of the Taj brand. I'll continue to visit Taj properties around India as they have always been great, but this one experience left a stale taste in my mouth. Literally. edit: I see Mr. Ian Dubier has been posting cookie-cutter responses. I would like to request him to deliver personal replies. No one likes to see copy-paste, especially for high-end properties.

I've been coming in this hotel for now like 3yrs and I'm absolutely in love with this place, staff, hotel n everything. Everyone here is very humble n grounded. The food at Encounter is delicious, the staff at reception is very much hospitable and always eager to help. The hotel provides you cozy n tidy rooms with great amenities ,luxuries like spa& sauna and the fantastic view. With my every visit to this city n this hotel makes me superb happy and excited. We have visited all the Taj hotels in Hyderabad and were never disappointed. The luxury, the class and taste of the food is just amazing. We went to see the Indian Cricket team during breakfast. The food was tasty as always. The staff is super good !

Stayed at the Taj for 2 nights earlier this week. Arrived with high expectations as all my India based colleagues raved about the reputation of the Taj Hotels. Unfortunately, my high expectations were not met. Overall, the hotel felt dated and past its prime. Decor and rooms seemed worn down. A few specific disappointments where I would have expected better from a 5 star property: - We ate at The Indian Specialty restaurant one night, and my dietary restrictions were explained clearly to the wait staff by my India based colleagues (no language barrier). Well, the food arrived, and the allergen I can't eat was still in the food. Go figure. Ended up ordering room service and unfortunately the taste of the simple pasta dish I had ordered was equally disappointing. - There was no bathrobe in my room when we arrived. Upon request, one was delivered to my room. When I returned to the room the next night, the robe was removed (?) and I had to request another one from the front desk. I realize minor, but every other hotel I stayed in in India provided this without asking. - The AC in the room worked well, but the hotel hallways were hot and sticky. No AC, just a small randomly placed portable AC unit set to 25C hopelessly trying to cool down an area 1000 times the volume it was designed for. For my next visit in Hyderabad I will look for alternate options. Not recommended.

Apart from the excellent staff, one complaint I had about the experience at Golden Dragon was the floor manager's attitude. Despite the restaurant being quite empty at 7 pm and private cabins being unoccupied, he denied us access to them claiming they were reserved. However, throughout our dinner until we finished at 9 pm, no one else joined those cabins. It would be beneficial for the management to prioritize guest satisfaction and learn how to respect their patrons.

Extremely poor communication and coordination between hotel staff. No staff to guide us with the restaurant menu and types of buffet. At the end, despite multiple communications while making reservation and when at restaurant that I want to use my epicure voucher, staff charged me extra saying they were not aware about the voucher and that it’s not applicable on Sunday. First time I experienced such poor hospitality from a Taj Hotel.

I was warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, The decor was modern and pleasing to the eye, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests.

It was one of the best place thought of visiting since long. The hotel Taj Krishna itself it is a land mark. Here visiting bar very ambience and nice with candle light and open air. The restaurant also nice and tasty.. If anyone want go they can book table by phone call and directly also then can visit. Approximately bar for 5 small bear bucket with light snacks will be 3500/-. Lunch buffet per head will be 2200/-. It is approximately only not accurate. Make time to visit you will enjoy....

If I had to describe the Taj Krishna in one word, that word would be "dingy." The Taj really seems like it was a nice hotel 20 or 30 years ago, but today, it's dated, musty, and desperately in need of renovation. The traffic noise was also somewhat disruptive. Overall, the service was good, if a little clingy and overbearing at times. The food was also decent, especially the Chinese restaurant. I would consider staying again, but only after a large-scale modernization effort.

Today we had a business meeting here in Saphire hall. 2 or 3 waiters were there to serve coffee / tea. There were 5 Managers to supervise the waiters. Coffee / Tea did not reach the guests properly. But the supervising managers were gossiping. I rate this hotel service zero.

The rooms didn't have bath tub. They said they would upgrade our rooms from delux to luxury but the rooms were no better than any ordinary hotel rooms. The hospitality and the food was great. There was also a small cockroach on the food tray, that's not acceptable. The manager and the service there was polite enough to apologize. I am still giving 3 stars and all because of the hospitality at the restaurant and other staff.

Overall experience it is very 👍, Went to meet a guest here. At the entrance received a warm welcome from the staff. Enquired and straight away walked tk business centre. The ambience was so good that the discussion went long though planned for 30 an hour it extended for 1hour more. Parking guidance is good by the staff.

Top notch service, top notch rooms and good food. We didn’t like a certain dish and gave feedback about it and the chef immediately rectified it by serving us some of his specials that tasted great. Impressed with the feedback response rate. AC broke one night so it was really hot and sweaty in the hotel throughout that day but other than that, did not have any hiccups in our stay. As a compliment, we were even offered late checkout which we appreciated. Definitely would come back when in India! :)

The buffet lunch was amazing with plenty of options. From the starters to the thali everything was tasty and nicely cooked! Staff were courteous and helpful. Definitely a 5 star experience! Close to 1700 ₹ (including taxes) for a buffet, but it is worth it!

Went to the golden 🐲 Chinese restaurant. Last time the experience was better. The uniforms have changed. The staff kept coming back to help when we just wanted to talk and discuss something sensitive The food was not outstanding. Just went there for the ambience and peace. It cost over 3k for 2. A bit dear I had say.

A warm welcome was the start of our vacation. Very friendly and approachable staff. Very spacious rooms and it had all basic amenities. Over all it was a very pleasant stay and enjoyable vacation at Taj Krishna.

Taj hotel properties are always good and this is no exception. It’s located at the heart of the city, next malls and restaurants close by. The hotel rooms are decent sized, but can look a bit old, but functional. The hotel has 2-3 restaurant and boutiques, food is ordinary but breakfast spread is good. Taj hospitality is as always exceptional. I stayed here a night just before COVID lockdown started. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always available to assist me with anything I needed. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the presentation was excellent. The hotel has a unique chlorine-free pool, and matchless Jacuzzis. The hotel is definitely worth the money I spent. Have stayed here multiple times so obviously biased. Location. Central to everything in and around Banjara hills. Multiple restaurants and shopping are all close by. Rooms. The hotel has been renovated. The regular rooms are a tad small however very comfortable beds and pillows. One thing weird was no chair for the desk instead they had an out of place sofa which was too tight for the space. The bathrooms are renovated with an amazing shower. The bathrooms in the standard room are very small even for a single person Service. The staff from the door men to security to the housekeeping are very polite and greet you incessantly. Breakfast. This was the only negative during the stay. The area is very crowded and the space is too small. While they have a lot of staff they got overwhelmed due to the number of people. They missed our orders and was never delivered to the table Highly recommend it. Would stay again Go for the club lounge if you can afford it

The Taj Krishna is a beautiful property located in Banjara Hills. The Chinese restaurant onsite is exceptional with very authentic food and the private dining areas are a nice touch. The attentive service at the Taj Lounge is fabulous. The Club Rooms are being renovated. Looking forward to returning for another stay once the new rooms are done. Overall a fabulous stay and experience.

We had lunch today at Taj Krishna. The food was just fantastic. Nandru kebab (Made from Lotus stem) was the best. Read about this as a Kashmiri dish but never had a chance to taste it until today. And I should admit that we were not disappointed. Ambience was perfect.

The breakfast could be better for someone with special dietary needs. I was a little disappointed with the choices they offered. Other wise, the room and location were fantastic

The rooms were not as spacious as they show in the pictures… they don’t have bathtub in the bathroom.. it is just a comfortable place to stay in but the rooms are not sound proof and also some club house renovation was happening on the 6th floor which was too disturbing. There were also tiny cockroaches in the room.. apart from it its One of the luxury hotels to stay in… the staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was really delicious and place was magnificent.

So, my girlfriend is a flight attendant and she had a stay at this hotel and she told me that everything is top notch except the fact that the room in which she stayed lacked a bath tub.

Absolutely careless and unprofessional staff. Had reached out to Taj Krishna for ordering Diwali Gift Hampers and I was assured a call back but no body called. Even after reaching out to Hotel number of times nobody cared to speak/ help. Because of this unprofessional attitude, I won’t be able to send diwali gifts on time

This was one of the best experiences in all my world travels. The hotel is exceptional with incredible food, beautiful gardens, gorgeous interiors, but more than anything, truly exceptional staff…everyone I encountered. Above all my driver, Sattar, and the concierge, Danesh, made my stay extra memorable… I have never felt so well cared for, especially as a woman travelling alone. I can’t wait t return many times.

Taj Krishna stands for its reputation even today after two decades. The Golden dragon restraunt is a cozy little place and with the interiors done up to reflect the oriental flavours. Very courteous and professional staff to help you out to have a great dining experience. Food is excellent in taste and nice to relish. They have a great variety to offer on their menu. Enjoyed my dining experience thoroughly , along with family 👍. Must try for those who are new to Hyderabad.

Good place but catering or general food quality is bad. Only a big name that charges high amount for wedding plates but not worth it. Neither decoration nor food attract any guest. Only tag person giving party gets is he have spend a lot which is worthless. Taste and check food atleast 5 times to get it improved or better save money and do party elsewhere

Iconic hotel at a great location. Awesome staff and friendly policies. Amenities are really good, especially the lawns and a huge swimming pool. One star less as its ageing, and I don't think management is focusing much...examples range from mild mold smell from carpets, ageing chairs and signboards to poor restaurant interiors. Dinner buffet is also strictly 3 star grade...breakfast spread is ok though. Overall, recommended

The staff so humble and courteous.. the place so beautiful.. breakfast simply superb and the staff therein very nice n courteous … however the place needs some renovation.. carpets were smelly .. and there was a typical smell of mould in the rooms .. the management need to take care of it… else everything was superb!!!

Absolutely wonderful staff. I spent three weeks staying here while on a business trip. I spent most of my evenings in the business lounge. I got to know the staff quite well. They took such amazing care of me. They even gave me a going away party when I left! Fabulous experience! I highly recommend this hotel!

Spent a few hours at the coffee shop. Staff is professional and doesn't really disturb you. Ambience is good but the air conditioning could have been better (that's probably a cheap comment for a Taj 😞). The chicken biryani we ordered was strictly average.

A wonderful property bang in the middle of the posh part of the city. Perched on a hillock, wonderful expansive lawns, Old world charm surrounded by malls and shopping areas. The created water bodies has a tranquil feel to the whole place. And yes, the Christmas feel good feeling as this time of the year. Hospitable and courteous staff.

It is a lovely experience. Taj Hyderabad was the greatest since it was my first time visiting the Taj itself. It's a big room. From the cuisine to the bed, it's quite cosy and the food was really delicious and had lots of variation. staffing was very cooperative and lot of patients .
