A real gem of Swedish nature. Enjoy the vast, beautiful natural sceneries and gasp at the majestic creatures roaming the area in this unique, nordic safari.

We enjoyed our short stay just before Christmas a lot. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and everything seemed to be rather new. The hot pot on the terrace overlooking the area with lake and animals in the distance was just beautiful. The lounge with pool table and the dinner location are both very cosy including a fire place and again beautiful decoration matching the surroundings and hunting theme. And then the dinner... we declared it our best dinner we had in Sweden so far. Simply marvellous, a perfect combination of tastes, creativity and presentation. And a big plus: All the staff being super nice, zero pretentious and just fun to talk to.

Lovely place. Great day out for the kids. The restaurant had very slow service and expensive, we will deffo pack a picnic next time. Loads of deer and wild boar but we saw no moose or bison. The playground was great though - this kids favourite part. Hotel is very lux if you wanted a treat getaway maybe minus the kids ;)

We had the breakfast only, it was all very good. The bacon was decent, the small sausages wonderful, and this is one of the incredibly few restaurants which knows how to make scrambled eggs. 99% of the time it's just tasteless & rubbery. Don't miss the shop on the way out, found the meat products to be surprisingly affordable.

Really nice food in the restaurant. While driving to the restaurant in the evening gives a great chance to see many animals while the sun is going down.

We went here to go in a safari trip and saw deer, bison, pigs, ducks and a huge bug we think might have been a ekoxe. The animals were quite far away and hard to see, but the scenery and nature was beautiful. We also had lunch in the restaurant and I'd give the chef 5 stars as the food was excellent.

Nice trip with family. But restaurant not that great. We had to sit among a lot of flies while eating and nobody in the staff cared about asking us if we were bothered by it. The guests were given flyswatters instead.

Nice drive around the safari park. Felt a little like being in Jurassic Park 😆 Nice scenery and a good way to experience the animals in their natural habitat. Good facilities for families with children in all ages.

Really sad experience. Charges 8 kr for ketchup as a side when ordering a 120 kr kids burger with nothing in it. When did ketchup become a side order?

What a wonderful experience. Such a calm and quiet environment. And the gourmet package was worth it, specially with the "on point" wine pairing to each delicious dish. Best of all, everyone we met in the staff simply showered us with care and kindness. Their own enthusiasm for the place was infectious. Worthy of recommendation - which we did immediately on our return home.

Very high standard buildings and rooms, liked the indoor decoration, lunch at a very good value. Evening dinner good. Super service from all staff. Interesting game drive in park.. Long drive from DK.

It was a short visit and didn't stay over, but that is definitely on my agenda.

Stayed 2 nights, and ate at both restaurants. Great experience, way over expectations. Staff was absolutely amazing - from the woman greeting us very enthusiastically at the gates, to the professional people serving dinner! Never felt crowded, and lovely to have nature and the animals so close by.

We spent two whole days in the park spotting animals, enjoying the landscape and the views. Very friendly attendants! We did not stay at the hotel but in our camper van.

Spent 5 days over Christmas with our 3yo and 6yo kids at the stunning Illusion villa. Absolutely fantastic experience - totally immersed in nature, we saw deer and wild boar on every drive to the cottage, and saw wild boar feeding just under our living room area. Very comfortable cottage if you don’t mind being without a few comforts - no running water, cinderella (incinerator) toilet, limited electricity (solar panels only for a few lights/USB plugs and no electric sockets). But that just meant we lit a fire and candles, read books, played board games and sipped wine and enjoyed the beautiful views. Eriksberg staff and facilities were outstanding - we enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet, Christmas lunch, and lovely (if a bit formal) dinners. Kids’ selection of food was limited and a bit repetitive, but still delicious - and the kids loved their personalised menus and the friendly staff who got to know their names and preferences. Great outdoor (heated and covered) pool — and we used the shower facilities in the “relax area” which also has saunas, a pool table and daily afternoon tea/snacks. A call out to Camilla and Sofia (excellent reception staff), Jimmy at the breakfast restaurant, and Mads who took us on an excellent “safari” drive where we saw bison, goats, wild boar and deer. An exceptional experience.
