Bar Pub

👍👍 A nice English pub. Tacky in a proper way with super friendly staff and really good fish and chips. Oh, and they have London Pride, which is fantastic! (Edit: That's a beer, not an attitude.) Tipp: Be there for the pub quiz. People often mention staff, beer, friendly, good, atmosphere, time, Malm, nice,

Delicious fish&chips, cod was perfectly cooked and crispy ,less 10 min waiting time despite all tables were occupied. Welcome back to this great pub ! I missed it in Malmö during these times

Very atmospheric place with a wide selection of beers. It is quite gloomy inside but you can also sit outside. The staff is very nice and the beer cold, fresh and tasty. The restroo. well equipped and super clean though entering them felt like a time travel to the 19th century UK. For those who care: Paper towels and soft toilet paper! The prices are around 7-8€ per half liter of beer. The food is in the same league but I haven't tried it. What was carried past me looked and smelled very delicious though. When I asked for some advice on Swedish beer I was allowed to try a few. The biggest cons are the super dangerous stairs and the entrance and down to the toilets. The place is not only absolutely disabled unfriendly but also dangerous for undisbled: when you come in from the outside you can't see the stairs because they are covered in dark carpet, not marked in any way. The entrance is a weird mixture of stairs and a ramp. Both death traps in case you happen to have a few pints too many. The urinals on the gentlemen's constantly trigger because the motion detector is badly installed. This doesn't only cut off pressure from the tab where you wash your hands but is a huge waste of water. I sat outside for several hours before I saw staff, picking up glasses and plates and clean the tables. I switched to a different table, because mine was sticky. The place was very empty that day, so they weren't too busy. There is not much pedestrian traffic outside. Depending on your taste that may be good or bad. The outside seats are far too low. So in case you have trouble with your knees, it's not for you. I have mixed feelings. High standards in staff, atmosphere and overall interior. Yet these dangerous stairs, sticky tables and piles of dishes. I can only guess how it is on busy days. Still the prices should allow perfect service any time, yet they were ver nice indeed. If not for that and the little beer tasting I'd say 3 stars.

Super nicely decorated, warm and friendly ambience. Staff is quick and friendly as well. Prices for alcohol are over the top compared with the rest of Europe but I think that's cause if the government in Sweden.

English-style pub. Great for a cold pint!. Just recently opened after be shuttered due to Covid. Has loads of English things scattered around the walls. The downstairs is a little creepy. Might even be haunted.

It's a nice pub, very english 90s feel. But if you are english and are thinking about enjoying an english breakfast here, don't bother. Probably the worst I've ever had. Just enjoy a pint. Don't bother with food.

Querky little pud with a great atmosphere. Loads of old memorabilia. Good selection of beers and spirits.

We entered the place around midnight, hoping to get a beer or two. They immediately told us that they had their last call, two hours prior to their closing time. We just left the place.

Gorgeous place! We had been following the places where Torquil Macleod's Anita Sundstrom used to be in his Malmö crime series. This place is bustling which is a good sign and if you try it out yourselves you'll find that staff is very friendly, the food is fab and the beer too. What more could you possibly ask for?

Beer selection is weak, and some of the taps didn't taste like they were properly cleaned

It has been many years since I frequented to Pickwick while in Sweden on an internship… amazing place, amazing staff, amazing food and amazing drinks. When I’m back that way I plan on stopping in… ☺️🫶🏽

Good selection of craft ales here. Cosy and staff are great. Highly recommended if dropping by in Malmö.

Probably the worst place in Malmö, wouldn’t support this place if you care about how they treat their staff... arrogant management and poor quality from food to service and hospitality!

Seems to have a fun quiz with a cozy experience. The drink options are somewhat limited if you are not into beer tho. But seems like they want to expand that :) but for now as a non-beer drinker it wasn't the best for me!

One of my favorite pubs in Malmö! Very good beer, really friendly staff and cozy ambience. They accept dogs and are truly caring with them. The pub is in a perfect central location. There’s plenty of space inside and they take the COVID measures seriously so you will be safe while having a good time. I can highly recommend it.

Nice place to sit down and have a pint or two. Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere with lots of props all around that give it a very specific charme. Cannot say much about the food, we tried the potato wedges and they were OK at best so as of now I cannot give a recommendation about the food.

One thing that deserves praise about Pickwick is that they definitely have the atmosphere and decorations of an english pub down pat. I was impressed by how seemingly every inch of the walls is decorated with something. It's an okay place to visit if you are specifically in the mood for the english pub atmosphere. It seems like they have a limited amount of different beverage choices though.

There is meatballs on the menu, but in the pub the waiter said, there is no meatbals :)

👍 Great ambience! Learnt a new game Boule! Nice place for team activities and big groups...service was a bit slow but food was good! It works well with a package deal on food drinks and a fame of boule. They have both indoor and outdoor eating and playing options!
