Service
was
slow,
but
otherwise
good
--
the
server
carefully
considered
my
unusual
allergy,
presented
an
alternative
sauce
to
one
I
couldn't
have,
and
was
generally
polite
and
friendly.
The
wine
selection
wasn't
huge,
but
the
house
red
is
a
Syrah
and
I'm
fine
with
that.
The
ambience
is
lovely,
marrying
casual
elements
with
classic
French
décor
set
to
a
pleasant,
jazzy
soundtrack
at
a
discreet
volume.
Note
that
they
do
not
take
cash,
only
card.
The
food
was
really
good,
and
I
say
that
as
someone
who
lived
in
France
for
most
of
her
childhood.
I
got
steak
frites
--
my
usual
safest
option
when
at
an
unfamiliar
bistro
--
and
the
sauce
Béarnaise
was
excellent.
The
fries
were
hot,
fresh,
and
correctly
skinny,
and
the
steak
cooked
well.
I
decided
to
indulge
in
dessert,
which
I
hadn't
intended
to,
and
the
tarte
Tatin
with
Calvados
cream
was
delectable.
I
could
not
pause
to
photograph
it,
as
letting
it
get
cold
would
have
been
criminal.
I
shall
now
waddle
back
to
my
hotel,
full
and
sated,
with
a
quite
positive
impression
of
Malmö
and
its
dining
options.
I
recommend
La
Couronne
for
a
romantic
meal,
a
business
lunch,
or
(as
it
was
for
me)
a
satisfying
dinner
for
one
weary
traveler
on
a
random
Tuesday
night.
