Was in this restaurant 2 times and I really liked everything twice. The food was excellent, everything was delicious, especially the Aperol cocktail! The downside was that, with a slightly full workload, I had to wait a long time for the waiter. But this is a trifle compared to the very good approach to customers! Thank you for making everything very tasty!🙂👍

Good Malmö bar in a busy square in the old town. We visited twice in the evening before going out to eat elsewhere. Pretty packed on both occasions but got served fairly quickly. A good range of beers.

Super friendly & knowledgable staff who made sure that food was 100% gluten free. Highly recommend as the meals were very delicious too

Sat outside, had few enjoying the Christmas mood, lots of people, mostly mature, but atmosphere is very nice, all area square is in Christmas decorations, people seems all happy and nice. Friendly staff. Toilets are one level down in the building, didn't see the lift, but it's reachable by stairs.

Locals flock here every night and it is such a chilled vibe with the buzz of groups socialising and some really great music in the back ground. It’s outside but you are covered and have plenty of blankets and heaters to keep you warm Food is really, really good. Like most of Malmo, it’s pricey, but particularly good for ordering snacks and starters to share. Offers beers, some cocktails, wine, sangria and some amazing alcoholic coffees. Definitely visit here if you stay in Malmo. It’s open till 1am and kitchen cooks until midnight so you can still grab a bite if you are out late.

Nach unserem Tagesausflug nach Schweden, haben wir ein Restaurant gesucht, in dem wir auch entspannt Platz mit unserem Hund haben. Wie die meisten Restaurants auf dem Platz, gab es bei Yello Mello genügend Plätze außerhalb. Aufgrund der freundlichen Atmosphäre, auch bedingt durch die sympathischen Kellner, haben wir uns schlussendlich hierfür entschieden. Wir bekamen ohne Nachfrage sofort Wasser für den Hund und auch als Gast gab es direkt ein Glas Wasser aufs Haus - bei 25Grad ein sehr angenehmer Service + sehr aufmerksam/ gastfreundlich. =) Die Speisekarte selbst ist nicht zu überladen und man kommt sowohl als Fleischliebhaber als auch Vegetarier/Veganer ein gutes und vor allem leckeres + sättigendes Angebot. (Siehe Foto) Kleiner Sidefact, den ich immer ganz nett finde -> auch die Toiletten im Innenraum (Treppe runter)waren sehr sauber und angenehm zu nutzen. ;-)

Nur zu empfehlen. Wir hatten als Vorspeise das Knoblauch-Brot, allein das war schon wirklich sehr gut. Als Hauptgang hatte ich die Muscheln, die waren sehr lecker, der Sud mit Fenchel und Weißwein wirklich toll. Aber fast am meisten beeindruckt haben mich die ganz einfachen Pommes als Beilage. Warm, knusprig, genau die richtige Menge Salz. Ach und der Service war auch sehr gut. Freundlich, schnell, aufmerksam. Einfach toll. Immer wieder gerne.

The best pasta I've ever had!!😋💚. Perfectly made. Abit expensive though. The bar man today the 06April was the best. He's professional on the cocktails. 🍸🍹. Attenders were respectful and sufficient. I didn't feel different. Being African in many places in Sweden, under the table discrimination is clear. I felt so comfortable here. I love it and recommend this place.

Have been here a few times, but last night would be my last. The guard couldn't communicate well in English and did not let us know the reason why my friend was rejected to get in. It seemed like he wanted to say something unpleasant if he could, but he was ok enough not to say. Fortunately, we ended up at a much nicer and more crowded and superfun bar nearby.

Really cool spot in the middle of the city with tons of outdoor seating. Had dinner here and it was excellent. Reasonable prices for upscale food. Relaxed, social environment and our server was super nice and helpful. Had the Cod filet main and it was absolutely delicious. Outdoor seating had both heaters and blankets though it was too warm to need either in May. Glad I wandered into this place.

Great place to drink and socialise. Staff were friendly despite the crazy busy nature of the bar at peak conference time. Didn't eat here but friends I know who did said it was great

The setup they have for the outside seating was great! The food see me like it was standard and, to me, more just USA 'bar' type of food. The service was very slow (waited over 25 minutes for the appetizer) and just only tasted like regular food is. It was a good experience but the prices would drive me away from visiting again.

Superb food. Tried the meat and it was cooked to perfection, and the sides where fresh and made with passion. A bit pricey compared to other places, but the standard on the meal made it worth it. Nice and clean toilets and good variety in the drinking menu. Highly recommended!

The food and drink were delicious. Never tasted before. But the staff was just little bit absent. I would have like some more interaction regarding the drink or suggestions what I should try, as I already mentioned that I am a tourist 👍

We ordered coffee and it took them 15 minutes to prepare it, and one of them was spilled all over. Also, having in mind you need to order at the bar, asking via POS to select the tip amount for the service and product that has not yet been provided, sounds funny.

mello yello is a bar/pub with both indoor and outdoor seating i had the chicken caesar salad which was 189SEK. the only downside was that it seemed a bit overpriced, but included salad, croutons, cheese, tomatoes and chicken. the chicken was quite nice as it was crispy and the salad was filling. food came out fast and service was efficient.

If you want to relax or hangout with your friends, then this is the place. I love the atmosphere. Service is really good and waiters are too good with their customers. Food is also tasty. It is quite close to malmö central station. I love this place.

We were looking for a restaurant to have dinner and we found this one in the main square of Malmö center. We want to thank the cute blonde waitress for the excellent service and compliments to the chef. The food was very good at a very decent price. I had the biff rydberg and if they have it, I recomend you try it. If you go to Malmö you should not miss the chance to stop and eat there.

Good spot in the town square with a huge, heated, outdoor space. The food was okay, wait staff was on point and their drink list was pretty standard. I'd say the atmosphere and heated outdoor patio would be the biggest draw here.

Unfortunately I wasn't there for long so I'm going with a 3 star, for now, but the ambience left a lasting impact. 2 business associates and myself sat a the outside bar for cocktails. It was Monday early evening so not many people. The service was adequate at the bar, portable heaters and custom mello yello throw blankets were on each patio chair to knock off the bitterness of the night time air which I thought was a nice, classy added touch. Overall, if you're in the Malmo central area I highly recommend a visit to see if it does the same for you... And I plan to go back this week for dinner before I return to the US and I'll update my review with more pictures afterwards... And I need a couple of those Mello Yello throw blankets my daughter and father!! 😊

I’ve recently been there with my family for a lunch, and the first impression was great, waiter was very kind, when the food came, it was nice, but nothing special… And that is when the magic ends. Table next to us was veeery loud, it was impossiblr to have a normal conversation, constant laughter and shouting, singing (it was monday 4 pm btw). I wouldn’t blame the staff for that, except the fact that they were obviously friends with the staff. And at the end we didnt even get a receipt, only terminal to pay by card. Wouldn’t come again.

One of "Lilla Torgs" tourist traps. Food is decent and so is the assortment of beer. Location is great for people watching and the outdoor area lively in the summer.

Just as expected . Restaurant at popular Square in the middle of malmo ! All ok but nothing special .

Drinks are very good and the service is excellent, but food is definitely NOT worth the money. Had their burger but personally I think the premium beef burger in McDonald’s tastes much better than that.

Sehr gemütlich, Service ist sehr nett und die Drinks sind super wenn auch etwas teuer. Aber eventuell auch normal für schwedische Verhältnisse. Wir waren mehrmals hier und es war immer gut und lecker
