I do not have much experience with Vietnamese cuisine, but the food we had last night was spectacular. The place is cozy and familial, a dim and relaxed atmosphere. The cook and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind, guiding us through the different flavours to be expected and ready to describe how the traditional Vietnamese recipes and ingredients have been used, modified or given a different role in a dish. The same goes with the tales about why the beers and the wines we enjoyed were selected to highlight the food we were about to eat. It was a crescendo of savour. Finally, the dessert really brought the experience to a whole new level, really impressive. Maybe pricey, but definitely worth it for a special occasion!

Restaurant Que is truly an unforgettable experience. The level of thought that is put into every dish and how they execute it perfectly every time is astounding. The new location is beautiful, well decorated and cozy. Highly recommended!

Went to Quê for lunch today with three colleagues, upon entry I felt excited as the place was very stylish and had a great vibe. I ordered the beef, and upon arrival, the plates were beautifully garnished - the visuals were definitely on point, so our expectations were high. Unfortunately the food was ill seasoned. The only taste I felt was cilantro and a very bland soft taste of garlic, and that's from a chimichurri. After remarking this, the waitress was very kind. But was busy with the lunch sitting. There was no spices that we could add ourselves (my colleagues shared the experience), and only at the very end of our meal were we offered a more spicy tangy sauce to improve the experience. The waitress offered us a gorgonzola cheesecake to make amends, and was extremely accomodating the whole way through. But there's no mistaking. In spite of her explanation that the chef is not experienced with the lunch menu, I can hardly excuse anyone who cooks food as a profession to not taste what they cook to check for levels. And all four of us (ordering 2 different type of dishes) had the same experience. I understand that in Sweden, many prefer bland food. We're a nation of tasteless national dishes after all, barely touching anything beyond salt & pepper. So my guess is that the palate they were aiming for was simply another target audience than us. :)

We have been here at a few time and every time the foods are so creatively made, delicious and tasty! The service is also wonderful! If you want to try Vietnamese food with a modern twist this is THE place to go 😁 Big recommendation from here.

Innovative and exciting tasting menu! Harmonised composed dishes with Asian and Scandinavian flavours. Fine dining food for a reasonable price. So totally worth it!

Loved the experience of going to Que. The restaurant was extremely cozy and we had a pleasent time eating this evening. We loved the food, it was very colorful and playful with a lot of texture, which you could feel the love of the chef. The staff was super welcoming and nice. We even had the opportunity to speak with the chef while we got two courses served at a bardesk with view to the kitchen, which was very fun. Only thing to mention is the location, this place has so much potential, that it would be served better in a busier street midtown.

You get served a full menu, with 2 starters, 2 main courses, and 2 desserts. It's delicious vietnamese inspired food, and is great if you want a unique taste experience. Great staff, great food, really cozy place :)

This place was on my radar for a while given good public reviews. Nevertheless, big disappointment when it comes to the food and wine selection. It is not Vietnamese restaurant at all, rather some weird fusion without much taste and character. The venue and the service are solid. Would def. not recommend to my circle of family & friends.

Excellent food, in our case 10 servings with great matched beer pairing. Very friendly staff who orchastrated the whole experience making sure there was an even flow of servings, explaining each in detail.

The food was even better then expected which in it self should be worth 5 stars. But the staff was so amazing and went even beyond what I expected. I am honestly shocked with how few people there were here on a Saturday. This place is absolutely worth a visit!

Quê is a vietnamese gem. They have been doing their thing for many years and recently decided to move into a new space. The quality and attention to detail remain the same. The dishes change often and I usually find myself wanting to try all of the items on the menu. The latest addition is lunch. The lunch dishes are very good and this is probably one of the best midday experiences in Malmö.

Nice Vietnamese restaurant with cool open kitchen atmosphere. We came to try out the summer menu. The food was great, so was the presentation and service. The only thing we thought was missing is opportunity to pick a starter / main / dessert for the 3 course set.

Excellent meal on every level. The presentation and wine/beer pairing were excellent and added an extra level to every dish. The staff was warm and helpful in terms of how to best enjoy each dishes flavor profile. Highly recommend.

An amazing experience from the beginning to the end! With one exception (banh mi which was “just” very good), all dishes were exquisite! The mushroom dish included in the vegan tasting menu was out of this world! Excellent service combined with a very elegant and tranquil environment 👍🏻

Great Vietnamese inspired restaurant, with focus in service, ingredients and surprising food - fun. We had the tasting menu one with wine pairing and the other with cocktails- price 3500 SEK of course not cheap but a perfect balance between price and quality.

Very nice and cozy restaurant with really good service. Overall the food is good. We personally prefer the food from mid/south Vietnam or inspiration from there, a few meals was in between but rest was very nice 👍🏼 we will for sure come back.

Lovely experience with amazing food. We had the vegetarian set menu & every dish was delicious. Wine and beer pairings were also well done, local beer was a big plus! Nice service too. Really worth the visit and the price :)

First of all i must admit,, that i don‘t really like asian food that much, but this restaurant is a culinary discovery for me. The location is not so great at a busy mainstreet of Malmö, but take a step inside and you are in a very stylish and calm restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. We were very friendly welcome and the service was very professional like the kitchen staff, because they served us two courses directly at a little bardesk by the open kitchen - so we could see the preparation of our meals - absolutely a great experience! Last but not least the kitchen: best asian products and a explosion of tastes, textures - really wondeful and certainly one of the best vietnamese restaurants in europe! We have a culinarian adventure at this evening and highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

We have eaten here twice. The first time was more than a year ago and I remember the food and service being exceptional and that we left full and happy. We couldn't wait to return. We went back again today and it has really deteriorated a lot since we last visited. It felt like they had lost their former passion. The food was very underwhelming and unimaginative compared to last time. Plus, the restaurant was understaffed with just one waitress for a Friday night service, who forgot our order of tea and oftentimes seemed distracted and not attentive. We don't blame her since she was alone in the front. I hope the restaurant returns to its former glory with the same level of food and service or maybe we just visited at a bad time.
