wow, what an experience. you just forget what you ordered and lose yourself in a rhapsody of tastes. i can easily count it in my top 5 in Sweden. they have a lovely staff too. everything and everyone’s lovely. if you have just one night in Malmö, try this place.

My girlfriend is obsessed with this place. We were sat at the bar so we could see the food being plated, and the whole team were fantastic. Very quick service. Very friendly staff. The food itself was fantastic. Subtle well balanced dishes of very high quality, and good portion sizes. I left full! Would visit Malmo again just to come back

Perfect! We went here really not knowing what to expect.. we had of course read various reviews so we were excited to see if they lived up to all the positive reviews. And they surely did! This is fine dining but without the posh and snorky staff and within a pricerange that makes it accessible for a large crowd! We didn't know the menu in advance so it was a bit of a gamble.. We had the standard four course dinner and it didn't disappoint us! The food was well prepared and thought through. Each dish was delicately composed with lots of layers that got together in a fantastic way. Not to intricate but just enough complex flavours that each and everyone complemented each other. We chose the wine-package that were recommended to us and the beverages were perfectly selected for each and every dish. The service was relaxed and personal without being "in your face" and the staff showed great knowledge of and pride in what they served. This is a really small restaurant so be sure to book in advance. Apparently they exchange part of the menu every two weeks so we'll try to visit again in a month or two. Can absolutely recommend a visit!

Since the first moment I stepped inside Vastergatan I felt home and when the waitress came and sat me I understood that things could only get better.... And in fact was just perfect! The food is a culinary trip where the chef brings you hand by hand in his interpretation of swedish ingredients and cuisine. If you are in Malmo it's absolutely necessary to pay a visit to this restaurant.

After getting the train from Copenhagen for the day, with no plans at all, we came across Västergatan and were not disappointed! The set menu with wine pairing is such a journey of complimenting tastes it really topped our weekend in Scandinavia! Our waitress was so knowledgeable and helped us to understand the thought process behind the menu that it turned the meal into an event. This restaurant can't be far from a Michelin star and at the price is an affordable treat.

Delightful meal (standard menu with wine pairing) with delightful staff. Food was made to a high quality with local, seasonal ingredients. Staff were friendly and patient with my questions on the wine.

One of those restaurants where they take in-season veggies and try to turn them into tasty and in-expensive dishes - all in all, a positive and eco friendly approach. But don’t expect to be positively surprised as everything is very basic. And make sure that when you order your table explicitly ask NOT to be placed by the counter/bar - you will be eating very uncomfortably as the bar is very high and the chairs not high enough! Additionally you will enjoy regular visits from other guests going to the toilet located less than one meter behind you!! Additionally the chef succeeded turning their onglet into a piece of meat that was un-chewable - my wife returned the dish and I tried to get through the “rubber” but eventually I had to give up as well.

Another hidden gem!!! Been to a few restaurants the past few days so this is another one I’ve added to my list of favourites. Service is warm and friendly, yes they do English too. Tack! Def opt for their 4 menu course and get the drinks package (alcoholic/non-alcoholic). They know what they’re doing. Jättebra!!!

This place is spectacular. Incredibly relaxed, friendly atmosphere, not too dim unlike many other restaurants in Scandinavia, the kind and easygoing service. And then the food, few and simple ingredients mixed in an incredible way. Each dish is a constant complement of textures and flavors, yet at the end everything blends so magically together. We enjoyed the menu and our favorite dishes were the cod and the dessert. Absolutely recommended choice, we also enjoyed a pairing of homemade juices. Fantastic!

Tasty courses, enjoyed it a lot. Nice bread. Staff was friendly and wine good. But very pricy for small servings. Don’t like the fact that they try to make up for small main courses with a large piece of sugar as desert.

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening after visiting Malmo as part of a Weekend away. Due to the time of year we were lucky enough to get a table that same evening. I cannot recommend this place enough, the food is Michelin quality, with a varied and interesting menu, the staff are super helpful and the wine pairing was as unique as it was delicious. All set in a simple, beautiful and homely atmosphere. I also thought the price of the food and wine was very reasonable for the quality. A must visit if you are in Malmo.

I was here to celebrate the birthday of my wife. My final judgement before leaving - go on like this and you will get a star (from Michelin). The food got better and better, in a fresh bistro style, optimised at the main course. We also found a fantastic Burgundy, a 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet, 1 er Cru la Dent de Chien from Ch Maltroye. And the bill was reasonable :- ).

This is a gem! The food is magical, creative pairings and soooo fresh! Shared the menu with my partner and we were so full and happy. Wine list is also super good! Loved sitting at the bar and looking at the team’s work. So smooth and so much love for what they’re doing. The service is amazing, too, the food presentation and everything!

Been here a handful of times and the food is always amazing, and you know you will always be satisfied leaving. Small restaurant with a nice atmosphere and the service is really great.
