Gave this place 2 chances…it did not deliver. The server was incredibly rude and at one point said “see you on TripAdvisor, we don’t care” only because my friend wanted to keep her soy sauce from one dish to the next. Well, we live here. The rolls were sloppily made, as if a child was in the kitchen. The nigiri i ordered NEVER came and we waited a LONG time between plates. Chef’s choice seemed to always be veggie rolls. Probably to keep costs down because this place is expensive. Still hungry.

Ordered the tasting menu as that's the only way to roll, por favor. Started out nice with some pickled and kimchi vege whoch was then followed up with gyoza , chicken, tempura and then horse-tartare. I was not particulary impressed overall as I had heard a lot of great things but the taste sensation was quite mediocre, especially the ketchup (?) Sauce and non-tasting tempura batter. It feels like a bit of a stretch to give this a 4 out of 5 should i compare it to similar experiences such as Toso in Gothenburg (5 out of 5 erryday).

I had a lovely time at Saiko. The food, service and overall quality of the restaurant were great. I will definitely return ! If you’re in the mood, ask for sake recommendations - I did not regret that.

Great service, the person working there is kind and helpful. The food was amazing with such attention to detail and beautiful presentation. We had the tasting menu and the fish was just excellent. Would visit again. 👏

Great service, attention to detail, beautiful presentation, excellent drink package but the tasting menu took 3hours and we ended up hungry, such a disappointment. (And the seating is so uncomfortable for being there that long)

This was a delightful taste journey and that they had umeshu (japanese plum wine) was the jackpot for me.

Super lovely. We had the set menu. Great vibe for long dinner. The servings are spread out over time so don't be in a hurry. Enjoy it. Food is excellent quality and flavour. Great natural wine and drinks. Would go again!

The Food 5 starts, I am the biggest lover of Japanese 🍣 🍱 believe me it is better than in Nobu

When I moved here I was told how lucky I was to be so close to Saiko, so I was quite excited the first (only) time I visited. Unfortunately, we felt the place was pretentious and expensive, even for Sweden. 2 of us ordered 6 or 7 dishes plus 2 drinks (2,400kr), which were good, but we left feeling underwhelmed & still hungry. If you're looking for a place where you leave feeling full then don't go here unless you're willing to spend a lot of money. Not for me The service, though, was excellent.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, Japanese food you cannot eat anywhere else in Malmö. Highly recommended!!

The best sushi in Malmö in my opinion. Not your everyday sushi, quite special. Some of the pieces are delicious and the other are great! Haven't had a single bad piece. It is kinda pricey and maybe not the place to visit every weekend but if you are in Malmö for a visit, like sushi and want to try something special you should most definitely go here.

Apart from the chairs it was a veey pleasant experience.

Best meal for years. I can't recommend this enough

My friend and I went here for dinner tonight and they are amazing. They are so friendly, and open. The food was amazing and they even worked with my picky taste buds. They mix amazing flavors together that you wouldn't even think is possible. It is a rare place indeed. Prices were a little high but totally worth it.

The best sushi in the world. Won the sushi world championship in Tokyo.
