Hands down! The best falafel in Malmö. Their food is amazing and the prices are pretty much ok.

UPDATE MAY Things are getting weird at this place. The food is still good, but during my last three visits, me and my fellows have all been experiencing the staff being condensing and straight up rude while asking questions about the food. Downgrading to three stars. In the restaurant business, service is key, and no matter how good the food is, I'd never ever recommend someone ruining a good meal with bad reception. JANUARY Holy mother. Where to begin? The photos below is about 2/3 of our meal we ordered for two persons. We paid a total of 165 SEK including 250 g shawarma, five falafels, one can of ice cold coke and a so called salad, see photo, (hummus, tabbouleh etc). Everything was friggin delicious. If you're in Malmö and looking for the best place for falafel and shawarma - don't look any further that Falafel Baghdad. Should be said that the staff was super friendly to all customers during our visit. I can see in other reviews that hasn't always been the case. Maybe they took feedback from reviews seriously!?

Read about the place before ordering. Had the kebab, a fatty mess with almost no pommes frites. Seriously don’t understand why the good reviews my kebab looked and tasted like I said, a fatty mess scraped from the floor.

I heard about this restaurant that it was the first reaturant in Malmö and today I wish to try it, but it surprised me when i found that my expectations were not met. Actually the restaurant was simple and table and floor were not clean. The food was normal, nothing special and even the quantity was little. Falafel sandwitch and shawarma were quite empty if i make comparison with the one from other restaurants. I hope they can improve in the future so they can deserve to be called "the best falafel restaurant in Malmö".

I’m usually pretty sceptic to falafel. Most of the time it’s just dry balls of chickpeas in my opinion. These where however perfectly crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The bread was soft and warm and felt as if it came straight out of the oven. They had a wide selection of super fresh vegetables and sauces, although I missed the pickled turnip (the pink vegetable). Next time around I want to try the halloumi and ask for more sauces as they only give you one sauce by default. All in all: brilliant and ridiculously cheap falafel (at least for someone who’s from Stockholm). It should also be mentioned that the staff if super friendly and genuinely glad to have you there. I will definitely come back again when I’m in Malmö.

It offers traditional Iraqi fast food at reasonable prices. The best is the (Al-Kas) sandwich, the Iraqi-style meat shawarma. Try (Al-Shinina) a traditional Iraqi curd.

The food is very good (the best in entire Sweden) Some of the dishes are a bit expensive.

This place is so understated but serves probably the best falafels I have ever eaten! It’s a little out of the way if you are in central Malmö but well worth the journey.

Amazing good (especially the falafel) and good prices, sometimes it's a bit of a wait but it's well worth it considering what you get.

Great food Great experience great pricing but unfortunately long time queue and not good hygiene touching food then touching paper money isn't good idea especially when its in corona times or any time.

One of top 3 falafel sellers in Malmö! But when its comes to other dishes (Chicken, Meat, etc) nothing deserve a try. The place 9/10, Cleanliness 7/10 and sevice 6/10. Overall 7/10 for the delicious falafel.
