I had expectations when I came in and Pleasure Food Japan blew my expectations away! Great value for your money, incredibly tasty food and exceptional service. Definitely recommended if you want great food at a good price. I will be coming back!

I loved the food! We got 2 variations of the warm dishes. Rice was cooked just perfectly. On the Mixed plate, the protein was very well seasoned and fresh tasting. We got very excited on the yakiniku. Tender and savoury, love love love! The dumplings were OK. I believe they are using ready made gyoza skin sheets. They were tasting good and the filling was juicy (we tried the chicken). Side salad - fresh. Plating - beautiful. The restaurant is small but cozy. Staff was kind and respectful, allowed us time to browse the whole menu and food was served fast. Oh and last but not least, the Miso soup that comes included is de-li-cious! We will be back.

Really good poké, with alot of food, enough rice, alot of vegetables and salmon. Good price and I was full. I recommand, such a good place. And they are kind !

I prefer a more classic, plainer, sushi. Nothing wrong with the food though, just not my style (which I knew going in, since the photos are representative, but my regular sushi place was closed). If you think you'll like what you see in the photos, you probably will! 👍

I am so sorry but tuna on nigiri’s were spoiled. We ordered 2 take away sets and couldn’t eat it . Spoiled fish is really dangerous.

A nice and cozy Japanese sushi restaurant. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this place warmly!

There is a big sign that says tell us your allergies, normally sushi is easy for gluten allergy but this was a horrible experience that nearly put me in the hospital. We spoke in Swedish and English and explained gluten free; they said yes yes, and then gave us rolls covered in a brown sauce, when I asked what was in it they said it was gluten free, I said I need to see the bottle, indeed it was teriyaki sauce with wheat in it all over my food. I tried to show the guy on the bottle where it said wheat and that’s not gluten free. He did not want to hear it, we asked for the food to be made over again and again it came with the brown sauce, and we paid full price for it as the guy was just annoyed at me for asking. I ended up going to another sushi restaurant and eating elsewhere as I was in town for an Interview and did not want to risk being Ill or at worse a hospital visit. It’s too bad, I had heard good things and the sushi looked decent, but If they don’t understand allergies then pretending they do and saying yes yes is dangerous. Cannot recommend to anyone with allergies as they just say yes and give you the allergen anyway

We arrived an hour before closing time, which unfortunately seemed like an inappropriate choice. The staff's reception was far from welcoming; a distinct sigh as we entered. The situation worsened when our order was received. The man who took our order passed it on to the chef, which sparked a big reaction. The chef, instead of starting the cooking, started screaming and banging his head, expressly refusing to prepare our food, even though we had already paid. This restaurant's lack of professionalism and hospitality is abysmal, and we were deeply offended by the unwelcome treatment. For a chef to openly refuse to prepare a paid meal, while the staff show a clear unwillingness to serve their customers, is completely unacceptable.
