I loved my experience here. It was awesome i had so much fun. I went into submarine to see how it looks like. The old Malmö trams, cars, and history of Malmö was fascinating. Tickets purchased at this museum can be used for the nearby Malmö Castle. Wonderful experience I had and would recommend it to anyone visiting Malmö.

I thought its history but in the name of modest fashion they are promoting something else in temporary setup. I havent taken picture from inside as I see it from doors. I heard about this city but it's seems so true. Highly disappointed with history department as people pay you to visit those places. For money you should not promote something else.

TODDLER friendly museum! My 1.5y child enjoyed running around pointing at things and climbing stairs. Hours before 2pm are ideal as i found it less crowded. They offer strollers for easier movement, if you have a baby carrier bring it with you it's more handy if your baby gets tired or you need to access the basement/ castle there are only ancient stairs. The museum is big, as it houses different things, aquarium, art, museum and the castle. There are lockers to keep your jackets/small bags. Food is not allowed inside but there is a cafeteria/restaurant by the entrance. Tickets are valid whole day! Accecible by city bus 8,7,10 &3. And walking distance from Central station and nearby City park. (Very clear directions on Maps)

Here you can find a lot of different things to see, the price is 40 sek/adult and the museum has something for the whole family (aquarium, exhibitions, and history etc.). I highly recommend a visit!

The Malmö Museer is an outstanding cultural experience in Malmö, bringing together various museums under one roof. You'll find Scandinavian art, exhibitions on natural and cultural history, insights into the city's history, and fascinating dives into technology and maritime navigation. Highly recommended for all visitors to the region for its diversity and cultural richness.

This was actually such a cool museum; way cooler than I expected! I visited with my school, and we didn't really have much time to see everything, but I'll sure come back by myself, to see what I missed this time. They had a really interesting exhibition about art from a queer perspective, with all kinds of art mediums, there was paintings, sculptures, videos and many other things. The museum it self where also a really nice building, it was just like, nice to walk around there, and there weren't too many people or too much noise. If I had the time, I really wanted to see their aquarium as well, it's not very often there are fish in museums, but it's so cool. Also I really loved how the museum had art exhibitions for adults and older kids, and then more children friendly exhibitions for younger children. I liked the way the museum was a mix of art and history, and that they could make that work without it getting super confusing. All over, I really enjoyed visiting Malmö museum!

A fantastic must visit place for all. There are so many exhibits that together with the neighboring technology museum, will take an entire day. Prehistoric exhibits, an actual aquarium, stuffed animals and birds, TV educational videos on environmental care etc. The technology museum have exhibits of a U3 submarine, lots of antique planes, cars, motorbikes and bicycles. Both buildings have cloakrooms with lockers for keeping your jackets and belongings, clean toilets, lifts. It will not be a problem for a handicapped person to visit and browse the museums. There is also a cafe at the museum.

Visited the museum(s) on a rainy day in Malmö with my 2 sprogs. Both museums had lots to explore, the aquarium being quite a hit with us all and the kids really enjoyed the technical museum (200 yards down the way from the main museum) in which you could explore inside a submarine and a lot more interactive elements. Price is super reasonable and you could spend all day in both. Good café on site in the main museum also.

Another highlight from our week in Malmo. The museum/castle was steeped with history and a really fun place to explore to get a better understanding of the history of the area. The cost was ridiculously reasonable. We opted for the combo package for a couple of dollars more to add on the technology museum a couple of steps down the road. The three hours were spent in a world class art museum, old castle, history museum, aquarium, an architecture display of the city, and the technology museum. A great time in general and enjoyed by all in our party. This is a must visit to truly experience Malmo.

Nice experience after you have finished visiting what is to be visited in Malmo. It is splitted in 2 areas, very easy to visit. Also they have a small shop area. Not too fancy, just to waste time.

Spannend geht besser.

We spent several hours in the museum which is really versatile and offers a lot of interactive attractions the are great for kids and adults alike! From natural history, living animals to technology and history, you can experience a lot of different impressions and learn a lot! I think you could easily spend one full day and still have not seen every detail. Also, it is compatably cheap!

There's not much to do in Malmö, but this is one of them. Good to while away an hour or two. But the secret ingredient is the cafe on the museum site. It's a bit like a canteen, but the food is excellent, well priced, and includes a salad and drinks in the price. We were beaten by the portion sizes, and that does not often happen!

Great for kids and adults. The castle part was interesting. Also has an aquarium, artwork, native animal dioramas. Opened at 11am.

Its an awesome museum specially when you plan for a facility visit. After the Covid restriction now no pre booking is required. The museum contains a number of ancient fossil of extinct animals like Magalodon and dinosaurs. It had also separate segments of Nordic art and culture. A combination of live animals and fossils make it special. Children also like the activities of experiencing the touch and feel of different animals. It is fun :-)

A great museum with a huge selection of exhibitions. They offer a student combined ticket which allows you to visit both the castle and the technology museum. The technology museum is a must see because it has a walk-in real life submarine that you can see from the inside!!

If you find yourself in Malmo on a wintery cold day, there's nothing better than to spend a few hours in a very interesting Malmo Museum learning about different stuff. The museum is conveniently located and walking across the wooden plank bridge you will have a feeling that you're back in time. You can see various exhibitions like natural or historical ones and after a long walk through it you can find refreshment in a cafe downstairs.

The museum's permanent exhibitions focuses on history, natural history, technology and also marine life. The information on each exhibition is very complex. I recommend to take 2 or 3 hours and visit this amazing place rich in history and not only.

I strongly recommend to visit this museum if you are interested in understanding the Swedish mentality and view of the world. It tells you something about the history and presents you some interesting ideas and views of the world in interactive and fun way! The only con is that some parts of the exhibition missed English descriptions.

During our visit to the Malmo Art Museum, located within the confines of Malmo Castle, we were immersed in a world of captivating primitive antiques. It was an absolute pleasure to witness the artifacts and relics belonging to old kings and their palaces. Each item was accompanied by detailed explanations and audio histories, providing a wealth of knowledge and insight. The museum offers such a rich and extensive collection that one can easily spend half a day exploring its treasures. The entry fee of SEK 60, which includes access to the castle, is a worthwhile investment considering the value of the experience. We highly recommend visiting the Malmo Art Museum as it offers an incredible journey through history and artistry that is truly worth experiencing.

You absolutely need to visit the Malmö museum. They have boats, planes, cars, science, arts, and more. The ticket price is cheap and it's totally worth it!

A museum with something for everyone. An adult ticket costs only 40kr and grants you access to exhibitions ranging from art and fashion to history, engineering and zoology. The current art exhibition with Tal R, Mamma Andersson & CF Hill is highly recommendable. The art collection also contains some Scandinavian gems including Munch, Lundstrøm, Willumsen, Zorn etc.

A bit of everything in one place. The entrance for the museum actually includes: Natural history museum, Aquarium, Malmo Castle, Art museum (all located inside Malmo castle) and the Technical Museum (another building close by). Make sure you visit all. 1-1.5 hour it's enough for all of them to visit. The aquarium it's a must! I was impressed by the reptile exhibition. The art museum was a bit to artsy for me, I enjoyed the others more. The natural history museum is small, well designed and spacious. A great place to visit with your kids. Both at the Malmo Castle and at the Technical Museum you have lockers to put your small bag and clothes (no extra charges).

I really love the experience there, the kids enjoy their time and there is a lot of things to see..the tickets is very affordable and the kids entrance is free… I don’t like the modern exhibit and the child afraid(there is a paint of a two child kill another child!!) The tickets also give you entry to the teknik museum and its also a very good and enjoyable experience

Old castle but due to it's history as granary-storage-prison not much of historic area left. You can visit one tower which is pretty nice. Rest of building is museum and gallery.
