Intriguing sculpture created by Yngve Lundell at Sodergatan street, erected in 1985 to celebrate the opening of the first pedestrian shopping street in Malmo. The set of sculptures is supposed to represent a marching orchestra. Interesting and thought-provoking depiction. Definitely popular with visitors and tourists. A social share favourite.

The sculpture is a stunning and thought-provoking work of art that adds to the city's cultural richness. With its unique and striking design, the sculpture captures the imagination and inspires contemplation. Its location in a public space invites visitors to engage with the artwork and explore its meaning. Whether viewed as a symbol of beauty, social commentary, or simply as an expression of creativity, the sculpture is an essential part of Malmö's artistic landscape and a testament to the power of art to connect and inspire.

Classic. Don't forget to visit the sixth member (elephant with tusks) in Malmö Folkets park.

Old pharmacy, 1782 still the way it looked back then. Beautifully preserved

I was able to pose next to 4 out of the 5 figures using only an umbrella as a prop. Not much to excite in Malmo so it was a bit of fun in the middle of our day
