Short review: SPIDERSSSS!!!! Long review: today is day 2 here and we have already changed 4 rooms because of spiders. We are almost friends with the spiders now. There are spider webs overall. The staff is very nice and trying to help (at least pretending to). The explanation (excuse) is that room cleaning is done by a third party company and they may not be doing it right. And yeah, I killed a few spiders. There is no parking here. The breakfast is alright, which you get by paying extra. The room layout is very wierd, I cant even explain. The location is very good. Update: after changing rooms for 5 times we finally settled.

We booked this hotel because of the air conditioning. With two days with 10 hour driving we really needed a full nights sleep in a cold room. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work and it turned out it didn’t work in any room in the hotel.

Stayed here for one night in room 751 as a Radisson Gold member. The check-in experience was bad, the agent was friendly but not very knowledgeable. The in-house parking garage has EV chargers (they are hidden in a corner in the back by the green wall area), but the agent said that it didn’t have chargers and we spend multiple hours going back and forward to another garage. We did receive a free upgrade, but it felt like a huge downgrade. We booked two twin beds, but ended up only getting one king bed. My mother had to sleep on the sofa which wasn’t comfortable. The room was very old, reminded me of the soviet-era hotels. On the 7th floor nearly all ceiling lights in the hallways were full of spiderwebs, cleaning could be improved. I spoke to Emelie and Julia from the front desk team in the morning. They were super friendly, apologized, compensated us and gave us a complementary breakfast. Due to this solution I am giving them 3 stars instead of 1 star. I would advise them to train their night staff better, so they have the same knowledge as the day staff.

A nice, clean and spacious hotel mixing history with the modern. Popular for conferences, it is situated in central Malmö. Has a selection of food from the higher end to burgers and nachos. There is a small bar on the main floor where you can mingle with the variety of guests from far and near. It has a warm and welcoming feel to it.

I had the worst checking out experience ever. I was there for one day and at checkin was told I could have a late checkout (up to 3pm complimentary). At midday, the room phone rings and everytime I answer, no one spoke. Randomly at 12:15 someone walks into the room to say I’m supposed to be out. They did not knock, they did not even apologise after I explained I had a late checkout instead insisting it wasn’t in the notes (as if I have control of that). I asked why they didn’t call up and just instead intrude on me (bare in mind, I wasn’t expecting a visitor barging in and I wasn’t clothed & they walked in and stood there looking at me). She didn’t explain and left. 30 minutes later, another person walks into my room while I’m packing and I tell them, yet again, I have a late checkout. They leave without fully entering my room. It’s 13:00 and I’m in the shower and hear someone enter the room for the third time. I should that I am in the bathroom and have late checkout and they leave. I have never been so humiliated in my life. Worst experience ever. Received no apologies. Just terrible!!!

We had a great staying at Radisson blue in Malmö. We booked on a great deal at their website and we had this great room. The reception was very polite and the rooms were very clean, great view from the hall window and great atmosphere, on friday night there was latin night. We had a problem with our sink being clogged though, it was not a big deal but I recommend you check them because might not me a pleasant stay with a clogged sink. Also the room maintenance was so slow, we came back for a nap at 3 a clock and they said you are back already, we didn't fix your room yet🤣 It was not a problem for us, didn't ruin my mood i said ok fine just give me some clean towels and they did. It is located close the train station and city centre. I enjoyed my stay there a lot, will be back again.

Different from Radisson group. Good location, grumpy staff ( at least the one young blond girl ). Refusing an eligible upgrade as part of Premium membership with the excuse of not available room, although the room was available and still it is. Bad blind curtains so not a good option in summer, with poor performing aircon. Spacious room so easy to spread yourself, but inefficient design. Many restaurants nearby. No parking but one public available with direct access to hotel, reasonable price. Overall, you get what you pay for, maximum a 3 star hotel at its best.

Great location, but this is not a well maintained hotel. I have stayed here multiple times, tried rooms of different level, but were almost always disappointed. One time I even had to ask for a new room as it was smelling damp and there was no water at all in the bathroom. On the upside the breakfast is decent and the restaurant is good.

Stayed one night due to cancelled flight from CPH. Massive rooms. Nice comfy beds and air conditioning. Very polite and friendly staff on desk. Would recommend for 1 night or longer stays. Good location. Supermarket in the shopping centre next door. 10 minute walk to railway station. Did not eat here. But prices reasonable for hotel costs.

I stayed at this hotel with my family and had a mixed experience. Overall, we found the hotel's location convenient and the price was reasonable for the size of our room. However, we were disappointed with the level of cleanliness in the room. We had to request refills for some personal hygiene products such as shower gel and conditioner, and noticed that the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. Nonetheless, we appreciated that our room was spacious enough to accommodate five people. In terms of breakfast, we were very satisfied. We had a good variety of options, such as scrambled eggs and cereals, and the quality of the food was good. The staff was also very friendly and attentive to our needs. In conclusion, although the cleanliness of the room was lacking, we appreciated the breakfast and the size of the room. The customer experience could be improved by enhancing the level of cleanliness in the rooms. However, I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a convenient location and who appreciate a good breakfast.

My second attempt at a Radisson property and the last one, at least where i can avoid it. The good stuff first: Friendly staff, reasonable outfitted gym, nice sauna and good location. But... there is always a but. Status was honored in some form, but overall it just doesn’t compares well to other hotel chains. Gold gets you not even a breakfast and it wasn’t mentioned at check in. Hilton and Marriott are just more consistent in how they treat status-customers. The state of the rooms and the design is just simply outdated and imho ugly. Furniture and walls looked beaten down and overall at the end of their life. The layout in my room didn’t made any sense. Multiple items in the bathroom were broke, and it was dirty. Upon request it got partially fixed, but not cleaned entirely. The desk lamp was not working properly as well. Overall: it just wasn’t pleasant. Nothing against the staff, but the property itself and especially the rooms (based on my single experience) are not up to a competitive standard.

Good hotel about 5 minutes walk from Malmö Central Station. Very large rooms but strangely designed with lots of wasted space and the door opening outwards onto the corridor (we managed to hit a pram that was being wheeled past our room!). Comfortable bed and decent shower.

Cleaning sucks. Sheets weren't changed for a whole week. Shampoo etc never refilled. Towels not always changed even when on the floor. Breakfast requires you to wear gloves. Just weird all together.. Junior suite is good size but quite run down.

The Hotel is good, but a bit aged. The Gym and the Sauna are really good and have everything you need. The breakfast is good, but just a bit earlier they had also some A La Carte options which I missed this time. Location is very central. Service is working well!

This is for sure not the best hotel for a 4-star Radisson. The rooms feel outdated and the furniture has a cheap feeling. There is no water pressure in the shower at all, (as in really unnacceptably low). Bed sheets had stains on them. There was noise from the AC (sounds like a loose fan or something). Issues with parking as the employee told us that it is 150 sek per day, however we were not informed that you have to pay this amount everytime taking out the car. This means you can not use the car unless you want to pay for a new period again. I found it very unprofessional to not inform properly about this and honestly felt a bit ripped off. We were told that the parking house does not belong to the hotel but I dont buy this excuse when they are regering us to it in the first place and there are Radisson signs all over the garage. The breakfast is as well serving cheap and boring stuff. Nothing outside the box whatsoever. Just bread, cheese, some tastless scrambled eggs and bacon. No porridge, no typical scandinavian salmon or anything. A sign with "fresh orange juice" which was clrarly not fresh. Asked for a bottle of water but learnt that they have "stopped with that." It just seems like this hotel is not ready to do more than absolute minimum which is still enough to keep the business going. We paid nearly 200€ for this room. Beds are comfortable and so are the pillows. Very friendly and serviceminded housekeeping. Great location but very overpriced for what this actually is. Not a great experience - I would say go for another hotel.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel for one night with my girlfriend. The room was incredibly pleasant and comfortable, offering a cozy atmosphere that made our stay truly enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond with their excellent service, making us feel welcomed and attended to throughout our stay. I cannot comment on the breakfast buffet, as we opted out for eating breakfast. However, from check-in to check-out, their attention to detail and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of positivity to our trip. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway.

The only advantage of the place is the size of its room which are quite spacious compared to other hotels in Sweden. They don't have own parking and nearby (in fact almost in the same building with direct access to the hotel's lobby) Caroli parking is provided for additional fee. I stayed at this hotel two times and despite being Radisson Rewards member and directly asking about the room upgrade, I was refused with that twice. One of the occasions was a very special family date and I asked for a room upgrade in advance but still hadn't got any.

I am so glad I stayed here. Compared to other hotels I have stayed in in Scandinavia, my room was huge. It was also very clean and comfortable. Breakfast of course was fabulous. The location, a short walk to the old town or to the railway station, couldn't be better,

Worst stay ever! We had a room with a bed were in you could feel the springs. Looked like it was stuck in the 1980's And had a lot of silver bugs in it. The room (Wich sadly was suppose to be a upgrade) wouldn't be charged (the upgrade that is) and after 2 months they suddenly deducted it!! Thiefs! and there not even reacting to mail conversations about it!!

Perfect location and I would say that this is the best hotel when you are traveling for business purposes. The rooms are well furnished so you can keep up with the work. Beautiful morning feeling when you see all people dressed up and ready to leave for work.

Staying in a hotel where you can walk to every turist destinations is a satisfaction specially in Scandinavian countries that transportation is a bit expensive. I have stayed in a room with a view of a beautiful church. The tv was free and was a good company for cold nights that you have to stay at hotel to be ready for the next busy day. The staffs were so helpful with my disorganised timetables and kept the same room for me for 5 days(day by day). I have had room service almost everyday and got new towels if it was needed. It was very near to bus stations and train station. fair price for that huge room and i will definitely come back to this beautiful hotel. +supermarket is next to the hotel +foodcourt is in centralstation and the prices are ok and it is only 5 minutes to train station

Very nice hotel, great location however the staff at the bar/ restaurant were not friendly. The lift in the middle has some issues with the 5th floor button. The shower in the room 541 is broken.

Very large rooms with separate seating area and a good desk to work from. Breakfast was good, getting a bit worn down in parts, but overall a good experience and I would recommend it.

Nice cosy hotel although some aspects of the rooms are beginning to get dated. But... comfortable beds, mattresses and quiet rooms. The location is great. Right in the center and a 10m walk from central station in Malmö. Staff is very kind and always there to solve any question. Bar at the entrance just beside the restaurant area. Nice decor. Good meetings rooms, full equipped and practical. WiFi woks fine. Recommended without questions.

lovely hotel near central of city and Old town. Recommend. Quiet and peaceful small city. I should stay there couple more days but my previous travel plan delayed by train rescheduled.

  • 5/5 Rakesh C. 1 year ago on Google
The location is perfect, in the heart of the city. The train station, cafes, restaurants and touristic places are at a walkable distance. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained. There is no free parking offered by the hotel, but you can parking in the paid parking lot which connects to the hotel.

Update on the reimbursement issue for the sweater damaged from laundry service Dec 16, 2022. I got the full reimbursement arranged by Ivan, the duty manager of the hotel and the apology message. I am not sure if the Radisson customer care team was informed because I did not get any reply from them since Dec 23. Although the issue was solved, I would suggest the hotel to make serious improvements on the customer relations and communications process to ensure the good experience and minimize the frustration. Thank you

Few mins walk from central station. The room is spacious. The staff also friendly in overall. Can stow bag. The price is quite ok for sweden standard in overall. I choose to stay here because for the same price that I pay in copenhagen, I can only pay private room hostel with toilets but in Malmo I can get better standards hotel

Excellent location close to the central station and the city center. Smiling and responsive staff. Spacious, cozy, clean and modern room. I felt like at home. The breakfast was rich and varied, the coffee great. If I visit Malmö I will definitely stay here again.

Overal a bit outdated. Rooms leak a lot of sound. Bathroom was good, clean and nice shower. Room also had a serial killer vibe due to the clear white walls without any paintings hanging on them. Overal we did sleep well and the location is pretty good.

This was an extremely good experience . All the staff from the receptionist including Sandra , the kitchen stuff and the buffet is really great . Thanks for giving us a memorable experience and for being so service minded and professional . Many other hotels can learn from that !

Very spacious room. Friendly staff who allowed me an early check in. Great breakfast buffet. Radisson Quality stays high. Only a pity that the bar closes around 10.30-11.00pm.

My experience was not so well at this hotel. I stayed one night in August 2022. I went a little disappointed how they managed a gold member for Radisson. It is weird how they didn't care about the details in such hotel category we are talking about. I booked a family room. Expensive but large space, sofa, desk and double bed. Big TV and well equipped bathroom. Room 434: 1) However, the sink of the bathroom don't work properly. 2) Impossible to use the shampoo, conditioner and soap. Extremely difficult to use. I understand the green conscious but useful options must exist to push and get the product. I also received the room with almost empty shampoo and very little soap for 3 persons. 3) No "do not disturb" board in the room. Be prepared if someone try to access your room. Check in: 1) Check in was the worst experience I have. I asked my benefits as gold member and the agent told me: "15% in the restaurant. No other benefits... We are full booked" 2) If I wouldn't asked about the breakfast booked system... I hadnt have space for me. Recepcionist told me that there is a paper in my room with instructions. There wasn't. (at the end nobody asked about the reservation when I went for breakfast... I might be a scam to leave place for paying people instead of guest with breakfast included in the rate). 3) I had to claim my in room gift. It was not prepared... I dont know why they didn't care about... Breakfast: Tasty and there are a lot of options. Salmon, tomato, sausage, eggs, bread, sweets.. However they were extremely slow to refill. Pain au chocolate took 15 minutes as an example. What I can stand is how this hotel category has a toaster WITHOUT a holder. Is the kind of details I don't expect in a hotel of Radisson. Even when I had an awful experience I want to highlight the work of Emily (reception) who was helpful with some of these problems. And Santiago also in the breakfast.

Second time here, blame kids moving to Sweden. I like it. Staff are helpful. Breakfast is awesome. Parking is under the hotel as part of the Caroli shopping centre and my bike was fine for the six days it was there, although at about twelve quid a day it's not cheap! Rooms are huge. It's got a great location, ten minutes walk maximum from the station. Comfortable bar area for a drink in the evening, just don't forget to arrange an overdraft as any alcoholic drink in Sweden is horrendously expensive. But cheaper than in Copenhagen. All in all a great hotel and a good base for Malmö and for venturing further afield as it's close to the station.

Nice Blu The Radisson Blu hotel is comfortably close to the city center. We had lovely strolls from and to the hotel. Malmö is a very nice city. We had De luxe rooms and they were nice. The smelled a bit, but were ok and had airco. This was great, because it was pretty hot. 25 gr C. Bathroom was not very clean. One douche had completely calcified and the other was dirty. The beds were quite nice though and the television was great too. Love to be able to cast from my phone. Very easy and not that complicated. The fridge was nice also. The room had a nice desk and I couldn’t help to open my computer there, just to know I could. Not the best hotel, but still very nice for a citytrip to Malmö.

An average place to be honest, the brand of Radisson Blu deserves a bit more The hotel is old, you can tell once you walk in yet acceptable The reception staff are average, don’t expect a super service from them, usually there are only one person so you need to wait a bit The room is big but in my opinion a useless size, the furniture is old, the AC was not working, the solution was to open the windows and listen to the seagulls scream and the window door squeaking all night or sleep in a warm room and walk up in sweat The phone had no line attached to it, this is funny and sad in the same time, told the reception guy about it, nothing happened The gym size is good but still needs serious renovation and cleaning The sauna was weird, didn’t know how to open it, no one is there to ask Breakfast was excellent, the staff there are cheerful and friendly By the way i never saw similar room air conditioning system, check one of the pictures to know how AC looked like in the 80’s The distance between the central station and the hotel is walkable but might be a bit tiring if you have heavy luggages Walking distance to the center, next door is a small mall like place, 2 big supermarkets so no worries about anything there Overall i liked the place, but they really need to work on the place, it can easily be amazing with renovation and update The 5 stars are for the good things like the well coming gift/card, the breakfast, location and some of the staff which were very friendly and helpful Still recommended
