Absolutely unprofeasional reception staff and manager. I recomend never stay with this hotel even if they offer free accomodation. Worst residence experience in 10 years of travel.

They don't take cash. We got a room on ground floor so everyone could look inside through window, zero privacy. They have very stupid breakfast policy - you must tell them the day before what time tomorrow you will eat breakfast. I every normal hotel breakfasts are served between 7 and 10 for example, and you can eat at 7 as well as 9:50, whatever time you wake up. Not in this hotel... Staff speaks poor English. Never again!

My brother came to visit me in Malmö all the way from UK I recommend him to book scandic hotel Malmö City. It was worst experience to stay with them staff was very rude 😔. I went to visit my brother and his family 👪 in the hotel they ask me to leave as soon as possible bcuz they did not allow visitors after 22:00. We have check all terms and conditions there is no such thing written on there website. I will never ever recommend anyone to stay at there hotel. Very disappointed 😞 😔 😕

Even though for each category I had given 4 but overall I would like to give 5 star as it is good value. Firstly , front desk is friendly and supportive. Secondly, rooms were good for family. Third and most important, breakfast. Not too much fancy but really good options and thoughtful. Kudos.

I was expecting a bit more from this hotel. The pillows are halves of a normal one, hair drier is super small, etc. The room layout is a bit weird, we had a microwave but no sink, or some rooms have it. I think it needs a renovation and a cure of details. I liked the wooden floor and the gym is also good!

Stayed in a family room, was very handy with a baby, besides microwave the room had stove, dishes, cooking pots, even a wine opener. The hotel provided a high baby chair as i requested. Breakfast was good, no booking of time was needed, as i understood, this could be the case only on weekends when the hotel is full. The staff was very friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The restaurant is open only for breakfast, for other meals you have to go outside of the hotel, which is not a big problem due to the central location.

It was easy checking in with a very helpful staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The room we had was ok for the price. You pay a premium for being in the city, and parking was around €38 for our one night visit. Laundry is available too. They are pet friendly, have non-smoking rooms, and have the best breakfast.

I usually dont give full 5 rating to any of even 5 star hotels. But personally this was the top service and great room for the value. Great location, really spacious room with full kitchen in the middle of the city. I cannot ask for more. I also love their sustainable effort. If you are traveling with a family, prefer to have a kitchen to be more practical, this is the place. I really enjoyed staying here.

Large size guest rooms with mini-kitchen at a neat clean hotel at the heart of the city with wonderful staff and a good breakfast. They stored our backpack for free while we went on a cruise from Copenhagen. Highly recommended.

Due to a railway mishap we were stranded in malmö in the middle of the night. I want to give special commendation to the staff that night. They handled the situation exceptionally well & with both warmth and professionalism. Breakfast too was a pleasant surprise, pancakes and everything. Highly recommend.

Good location near Gustav Adolfs Torg where lots of local buses depart, microwaves and mini kitchenette in all rooms, decent breakfast buffet, and river view.

We had a last-minute flight cancelled and Scandic Malmo City was able to get us a room immediately for the night. The staff was super friendly and helpful and they got along well with our kids too. Additionally, the breakfast was amazing. I will be recommending Scandic Malmo City to anyone I know that is travelling to Malmo.

This hotel was a 5 stars in everything. The view was absolutely stunning and there were many restaurants nearby. My dog enjoyed the stay even more than me! She slept so well like a princess and enjoyed the stay. Super recommend!

Not fancy, but spacious rooms with a very central location fowntown Malmö City.

It’s the usual Scandic hotel in a good location. However, I’m very surprised that the floor in the room was so dirty. Don’t they vacuum the floor between guests? The sofa bed is old and makes noise easily when turning. And dust on table surfaces.

I know verry well Scandic hotels and they never fail to deliver the best client service. Clean and welcoming staff . Verry helpful and i definitely recomand any of the Scandic hotels especially Scandic City Malmö.

It was not the best hotel. It is hard to get a parking if you can get one of them from the hotel. Lucky you it is small and expensive. There is a parking garage close that is better, but even more expensive. Room is big and includes a full set of kitchen items. Maybe this is something you want in a hotel then it is nice. Main beds are okej the other one is terrible. You can feel all the springs in it. And pillows, They don't know what a pillow is here. Take an ordinary pillow and cut it in 3. Then you get the size of the pillows here. And breakfast is between 7-8 and then again 9.30-10.30 nothing between 8-9.30 But it was a nice and fresh breakfast.

Nice hotel rooms, breakfast is spot on. The room was clean and well stuffed with everything you need to cook or store food. Size of the room was ok for one. Location is perfect. Pleased with the experience

Great place in the center of town. Rooms are very spacious and have small kichnet. Breakfast buffet would only give 3 stars. It has most of the same items as a normal scandic buffet. However the quality of bread, eggs, bacon etc was low. It wasnt best quality. Especially the bread.

Rooms where very new ce and good in size. Hotell is located in central Malmö and close to inner city. Breakfast had good options

It is the first time I have stayed in a Scandic hotel, I was expecting better conditions of the rooms especially the bathroom. But in general it was a pleasant stay very easy to get there by Flygbussarna from Malmö airport. Definitely family friendly, can become somewhat crowded at breakfast time but not overwhelmingly crowded.

Breakfast is not nearly as good as pre-pandemic, and dining area is far from clean. Almost every seat is stained, most tables are kind of clean.

Functional rooms, however in my room there was no way to disable the aircon. Otherwise it offered all I needed including fridge, water kettle, shower, and bed.

Nice hotel and staff A bit worn, but not bad at all. Not our last time here. The waiter at the lunch was awesome friendly ❤️

Basic Scandic Just like the title says, there is nothing special about this hotel. No Frills or Surprises. And at the same time, nothing negative about the place either. It met all my expectations for an easy breezy stay in this pretty city. LOCATION: in the Fringe of the old city and easily walkable from all Points of interest and just 1 km walk away from the central station DINE + DRINK: Decent bar at the lobby level ROOM: I stayed in Room 612, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random views of the cityscape; SIZE: Reasonably spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good spa quality cosmetics FACILITIES: Decent Gym with a good range of weights and Cardio machines, good enough for a nice workout. No pool on site. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout out to the Brazilian lady at the Front office for a good welcome experience HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. below average experience, overpriced hotel stay. breakfast was extremely poor and tasteless, rooms were not clean and beds were so uncomfortable. location is however good.

Nice, clean hotell. Simple but good breakfast. We got an apartment to stay in and it was really big! They got us a babycot and extra towels for our baby even though we did not ask for it. Serviceminded and nice staff!

Good place to stay in reasonable price. Staffs are helpful and kind. Got a good discount from hotel as a member. The best thing is the buffé at morning. All varieties of food are available. If you plan to visit Malmö or want to do a business trip than its worth to check the hotel. Recommended

Good Hotel to visit Malmö. Especially having the Parking right across the street was very helpful for us! Rooms a fine and I would say standard for that price. Breakfast buffet is huge and quite good. So all in all I can recommend this hotel for a city trip.

It's a shame I have already reviewed this place, as every time I come back here is an absolute delight. Sure the place is getting a tad dated. Scratches and dents here and there. But that doesn't take away from the 1 minute check-in time. The super friendly staff that does it. The large spacious rooms. The hotel worlds best "under €200" breakfast. (Including the ability to buy leftovers at a +50% discount, even when not staying here) The fact that there are both "Do not disturb' signs as well as "Hey be careful there's a pet in here" The CONDITIONER in the shower. The list goest on and I am constantly delighted by this Scandic.
