When I came to the hotel I was instantly greeted with top of the line customer service. Accompanied with my already impressive first impression of the hotel, I walked into an amazing room. Huge TV, shower and bathtub, closets and a beautiful view. The gym is also amazing, it makes getting fit fun. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. The breakfast is amazing, offering a large assortment of breads, fruits, juices, cereals, vegetables and more. The breakfast is also VERY vegan friendly and personally I'd say that this hotel is ideal for anybody traveling to Malmö. It's also close to the train station, (20 minutes walking) and close to many other shops and places. Overall an amazing hotel and an amazing experience.

This is the best hotel in Malmö. It is the only hotel I stay in when I travel to Malmö as it is in the best location, has an amazing breakfast buffet and the rooms are spectacular. The staff each and every visit have been very welcoming and friendly. I must mention Emil for his kind words upon arrival and on another occasion the wonderful Elin who helped me sort out a mistaken booking. If you are looking to stay in Malmö, look no further. This is simply the best hotel in the city!

The Clarion Hotel Malmö Live is a modern hotel located in the heart of Malmö. It is a 15-minute walk from the Central Station and a short walk from the city's main attractions, such as the Turning Torso and the Malmö Museum. The hotel has 420 rooms, all of which are spacious and well-appointed. The rooms have comfortable beds, large TVs, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have balconies with views of the city. The hotel has a number of amenities, including a fitness center, a sauna, and a swimming pool. There is also a bar and a restaurant on-site. The breakfast buffet is one of the highlights of the hotel. It is a large and varied buffet with something to suit everyone. The staff at the Clarion Hotel Malmö Live are friendly and helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a pleasant stay. Overall, the Clarion Hotel Malmö Live is a great choice for a stay in Malmö. It is a modern hotel with excellent facilities and a great location. Here are some of the pros and cons of the hotel: Pros: * Spacious and well-appointed rooms * Excellent location in the heart of Malmö * Large and varied breakfast buffet * Friendly and helpful staff * Good range of amenities, including a fitness center, sauna, and swimming pool Cons: * Can be noisy at times, especially if you are facing the street * Elevators can be slow during peak hours * Some rooms have small bathrooms Overall, I would recommend the Clarion Hotel Malmö Live to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Malmö.

Nice hotel, great breakfast, nice rooftop and great food. The only reason why I am not giving it a a 5 star is that there is no cotton bud, which you would normally expect for a 4 star hotel. Then, when I asked about it to the receptionist, I am told to go buy some at the local store 😅

Rooms are well equipped but small. Hotel very nicely situated. Walking distance from central train station. The rooftop bar has sublime views. There are some interesting cocktail options.

Great 2 night stay. Very central. The only downside was the room was warm at night but the view was spectacular (19th floor) and the staff extremely friendly. Would definitely come back here!

Lovely hotel with amazing view. Friendly staff, extensive breakfast. If you book far in advance, it saves a lot in costs. Good temperature control and lovely beds. Parking under the hotel is expensive, 260 sek. Is public parking and lots of tight spaces. From the hotel you walk (or scooter) directly to the station and the city. We would love to come back here again. Did have some mold in the bathroom on the ceiling.

Great place and high level hotel. Elevators quite occupied Great sky bar Breakfast really great with possibility to get omelettes. Tough there was some waiting time before the chief was present. Bar 1st floor had very limited opening hours

Excellent stay at Clarion Hotel Malmö Live! I recently stayed at Clarion Hotel Malmö Live and had an excellent stay overall. The hotel is well located, almost in the centre of Malmö, and has easy access to parking, which was very convenient for me. The rooms were nice, although slightly small. However, they were clean and well maintained, which made up for their small size. In addition, the rest of the hotel's services were simply excellent. The welcome I received at the hotel was warm and friendly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and answered all my questions with a smile. The overall service was impeccable, with attention to detail. I also enjoyed the meals in the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and well presented, with a good variety of choices. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of options to suit all tastes. In terms of facilities, the hotel offers modern and well maintained facilities. The communal areas were clean and welcoming, and I particularly liked the panoramic view from the hotel bar. In conclusion, I highly recommend Clarion Hotel Malmö Live for your business meetings as well as for your weekends. Although the rooms are a bit small, the reception, service, restaurant meals and breakfast were of a high standard. The hotel also offers easy parking and is conveniently located in the centre of Malmö. Many thanks to the entire team for their hospitality and excellent service. Best regards! #B4YOUDISCOVERY

Absolutely lovely hotel ! Rooms aren’t that big but if you are a bit higher up nice ocean view. The breakfast is very diverse and ingredients very high quality. Staff was Friendly who checked me in. The gym is good and has more stuff than most of all normal hotel gym, sauna is great too but you need to remember to turn it on before heading there.

As a local guide, I enjoyed a day at the Clarion Hotel Live in Malmö and highly recommend it. The hotel offers excellent service, modern amenities, and a prime location. Check-in was efficient, and the staff was welcoming. My room was clean, well-designed, and featured a comfortable bed and great city views. The restaurant, Kitchen & Table, serves tasty local and international dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a treat. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Malmö's attractions, with many within walking distance. Overall, Clarion Hotel Live is a top choice for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Malmö

Nice hotel but to me a bit overcrowded, many people (non guests) come to visit the sky bar/restaurant. Room service is offered 24/7 it is written. (As long as the 4 pre-prepared dishes are still available in the bars fridge, to be collected yourself downstairs) Quality of cocktails are great downstairs at the bar, but just as the room service salats to be collected yourself at the bar. For 15-20 eur per cocktail i think they can serve it at your table and offer a better service. Good location, parking under the hotel. This hotel thrives on the view they offer on the city.

Large corporate hotel. Good location, close to old town. Easy check-in and nice front desk staff. Good breakfast. Bathroom had a lingering odor. Hallways also had a strange odor. Very noisy at night with windows rattling and whistling on higher floors. Asked for room not to be cleaned and was woken up twice on the same day by two different housekeepers wanting to clean or vacuum the room (sign was on the door - do not clean!). Only one (pricey) restaurant was open for dinner. No lunch options. Restaurant on ground floor (a Mexican restaurant) was closed for the month of August. Hotel bar in lobby closed at 9pm one night even though we were told they would be open until 10:30. Hotel firewall blocked VPN. Wi-Fi/Internet was intermittent and not secure. Minimal selection of television channels.

    1) We ordered an extra bed for a 5 year old. we got a baby crib !!! usually they are suited for up to 3 years old. when we realize we needed sleep asap - so I don’t know if they had offered anything else. 2) the cover mattes kept sliding to the sides. so the space between the two mattes was wide. 3) bed lights/reading lights did not work properly 4) the towels where damped 5) there are two floors of breakfast a) one has omelet service other dose not - we where not told b) you can not order coffee ( latte/cortado/….)

Check-in/out was painless, helpful staff. Very nice room (12th floor), quiet and could get it dark. Morning sun 🤗 amazing view. Cleaning was not consistent, one day good, next not so much. Breakfast (at the 2nd floor) gave the little extra (and beyond). Opened at 07:00, I like to have breakfast an hour early. From a vegan perspective, a lot of options and easy to fill up. Freshly ground coffee is luxurious. Breakfast (1st floor), same as above, but without the extra. Less options, a lot of things that was available on the 2nd floor, you had to ask for to get. (Guess that you get breakfast on first’s or second floor depending on how many guests the hotel has) As a summation it was a pleasant experience, on the expensive side. Was it worth it? Maybe with more consistency.

I travel around the world 3 times a year and I just say I have not seen or experienced a better service than I have here. My flight got delayed till 7:30pm and while I had to check out at midday. The front desk went out of their way to accomodate and even though they had no rooms to give me (even if I paid) they understood the hassle of lugging my suitcases and not being able to freshen up for my next flight. They stored my suitcase and allowed me to come back and use their gym fitness showers to freshen up and no questions asked. And it was not something they had to check with the supervisor if they were allowed to or not. I will be coming back to Malmo and defn staying here again.

One thing we agreed on: Very good beds! A good bed is important when on holidays where you walk about 12km a day. It was nice knowing we would come back to a comfortable bed. The rooms were very well organized with a nice, large bath. Good service. And a nice diverse morning buffet with plenty options no matter your diet or if you have allergies.

Huge hotel. I have lost there twice. Rooms were nice, I like they are using Rituals cosmetics. Staff were nice. Breakfast was good but crowded with people. The lifts have insufficient capacity so we had to wait 15 minutes in the morning for the lift. The food for dinner was average.

Our stay was perfect from the very beginning. Very easy to find the hotel after arriving from the central station. We were checked in by Vita and she was very thoughtful and kind. The room was super clean, we were in a high floor and the view was great. There was an ice maker on the hallway. Breakfast buffet amazing with a lot of variety, even an omelette station.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. We had a corner room on the 18th floor with a view of the city and the Turning Torso. The room had a huge comfortable bed but I would say it was clean at 4/5 stars. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and the location couldn't be better.

Best place I have stayed in Malmö. Great staff in the reception and a very nice room with a great view over the city. Comfy bed and good aircon. Minor remarks is that the elevator capacity wasn’t enough in the morning rush. Not a big deal though, and I will not hesitate to stay here again.

Whoever designed 3 small elevators for this big hotel should be fired. Long lines to take it at multiple occasions. We ended up taking the -not very attractive- stairs to 11th floor!! Consider this before booking. While breakfast was plentiful and a vey nice selection of food, the amount of seating was not. Guests were walking both rooms, not finding a place to sit. For this reason, I can only give 2 stars. Room was small, bed pillows etc was very comfortable. Bathroom is small but OK. Great distance to city centre. We will not stay here again. I advise the hotel to fix elevators and use more room for breakfast before we will stay here again.. I advise you to get a room on lower floors - and skip breakfast! Unfortunately!

  • 4/5 Jessica M. 6 months ago on Google
Very well located downtown, hundreds of rooms with a nice design style, two restaurants and a skybar. And a huge breakfast buffet. The only remark is : too few elevators for so many people there, especially during rush hours.

I've stayed at 15 plus hotels in the last month. I keep saying, this one was the best. Well, now, this one topped them all as far as large hotels. Nothing beats a small bed and breakfast, but this comes close. Great views.

That’s the place you can have a great view of the whole city The restaurant on floor 25 could be a perfect experience:) The rooms have a good view of the city, could enjoy it during the night 😜 Do not miss the breakfast, well-designed place with a variety of choices for breakfast

Quick check-in and check out. Really friendly staff. Garage in the basement. The view from our room on floor 17 (of 25 floors in total) was really good and breakfast was varied and tasty. If we pass through Malmö again we will come back :)

We had a small conference. It was too cold, so everyone had to wear sweaters indoors. Nice hospitality and fresh and new locality. Decent food at the restaurant but old worn glassware that I wouldnt use for guests at home.

  • 3/5 Garry H. 2 years ago on Google
It was nice enough. Only went for one night. The gym was a little strange the sky restaurant was full the cafe only had salads left with no dressing so you have to go into the centre if you don’t have reservations. I had a twin bed that was pushed together, again fine as I was in my own but as the mattress moved it wasn’t the best night sleep I have had. They emailed a lot and I mean at least 10 times in the run up to my stay. The systems were down when I arrived but they compensated me for it without asking. I would stay again but stipulate more of my needs.

We checked in for 3 days/2 nights. We came to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary in Malmo and asked the staff to decorate the room with some flowers and maybe chocolate. We came and nothing in the room , plain and boring. They have a very expensive parking. 250Krona pr. Day. Such a rip-off when you already have given a lot for the stay. The staff seems forced to work and has a arrogant attitude with no sense of service whatsoever. Except for one and her name was Matilde. Cute blond with great smile. We then ordered the brunch on their top floor , got the most expensive dish and was pretty much served grass topped with some feta cheese. Again they didn't have any sense of customer service . Totally overcharged and the food wasn't that good. Too much noise and the crazy drummusic didn't help. TV in the room was laggy and sounds were laggy. Waterpressure in the bathroom was so bad. Again, watch out for minibar prices. Very high. View was nice. All in all.. a bad experience and I will not be back.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and it just keeps on delivering excellent experiences and memories. I absolutely loved my hotel room which happened to be placed on the corner of 22nd floor with a panorama view. Not to mention how helpful the hotel staff was with my booking, I really appreciated it! And a must visit to the 25th floor, to enjoy drinks and food with a super nice view. And the breakfast is great! A lot to choose from. This is an obvious choice when in Malmö. And I want to thank the staff at the hotel for being super helpful and friendly! Look forward seeing you next time 🙂

The climate control and ventilation didn’t seem to work. Woke up hot and very discomforted. It felt like air was pretty spent at that point. Unsure if the ventilation was intentionally shut off due to fire in a high rise close by. The double bed kept sliding apart. We had to take the stairs like many other guests because lifts mostly showed up full. Breakfast was decent. Rooms and facilities looked clean. Interiors were modern. Staff were friendly.

I had a warm welcome at the hotel. The room has a breathtaking view over Malmo and the hotel provides all kinds of fun and relaxing activities for its guests. A big KUDOS to Paula, she provided top-class assistance and my breakfast was both informative and delicious! 👌

One of the best hotels in Malmø. Clean, comfortable and quality is how I can describe this hotel. Breakfast is amazing with huge buffet from 7:30am to 10:30am. Location is perfect. Not far from the Malmø main train station.

I am very happy with my stay. The room was clean and modern, the view was beautiful, the staffs were great! The breakfast and lobby could be a bit too crowded.

Right in the city centre with great rooms and super breakfast. The location is top, just 5 min walking from the station and a few more minutes to Malmö centre. Will be my preferred address for future trips. Also, the rooftop restaurant is worth a visit as well. Great food and drinks with amazing view from the 25th floor.

The worst staff I’ve ever encountered. Super cold and rude. We arrived to the hotel with so many luggage, they gave us the trolley and told us to put the bags in it ourselves. My fiancé had to go park the car because they obviously didn’t have anyone for that. The staff saw me struggling to pull the trolley that is sticking to floor and not rolling, they saw the elevator door close on me while I push the trolley in, no one offered to help. This is not all! We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. I requested cleaning every day of my stay, the answer would be “oh yeah sure, I’m sorry no one cleaned yet, I will inform them immediately” and NO ONE was coming to clean!! This happened twice everyday at this hotel although each time I explained that we are in desperate need of towels and cups to drink! It was crazy! I still don’t understand why would a hotel do that? I would’ve stayed at an Airbnb for half the price and tipple the space if it wasn’t for the cleaning and the help of a staff and both of these things are inexistent at this hotel! In general they ruined my stay in Malmö

It’s all you expect. We got a room with highest ceiling on 13th floor. The only thing I would love to see get better is the app. It had no options to choose if we want to stay in lower levels or upper ones. It’s a tall hotel, I suggest they add a 3 choice options, lower, middle and higher, floors to Mobil check in. Of course they have 5 star staff so we changed our 3rd floor room that was assigned by the app. People at breakfast are Amazing. We were celebrating a Birthday, and not only they arranged tables to get us sit together, they helped with flowers, and later surprised everyone (as we didn’t ask for it) with cake, candle and singing staff.

The guys we met at the reception were super helpful and kind. The 25th floor is lovely, my husband and I loved the restaurant, the food and the bar. However, the hotel itself is really poorly maintained. I mean I know people say it’s the best in Malmo I understand that but the facilities need to be revamped. Our room air conditioner was not working properly and the bathroom toilet had a bad smell. Honestly will only go back for the restaurant because the food is perfect 👌🏾

As my Sambo and I are frequent guests of the Clarion Hotel Malmö Live, we have always been delighted with our stays at the hotel. The Superior Rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel also has an amazing breakfast! Very recently, we stayed for seven nights in the Superior Rooms (1790 SEK per night) for the Christmas holiday. However, we wish the hotel offered a special discount for the parking fee at P-huset Malmö Live for the hotel guest. Today, whenever we stay at the hotel, we pay 260 SEK per day for P-huset Malmö Live; This time, we parked for seven nights, which means we paid 1890 SEK in total. It would be a nice added benefit for the frequent guests / loyal guests. Overall, we have had a great experience at the Clarion Hotel Malmö Live. The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to all the best restaurants, shopping, and attractions in the city. We always look forward to returning. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Very well equipped hotel and room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Above all, the lady who received us for breakfast in the morning always puts us in a good mood, even if we weren't quite awake in the morning. The fresh omelets were also very good. Unfortunately, there were available only for the first 2 days.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 full week during a big convention, and our experience was fantastic under every point of view. -The room was very neat, clean and good looking. Bed was comfy, the tv right in front of it was a lovely add. The bathroom was spacious, modern and beautiful. -The staff was the friendliest that we have encountered so far in every hotel we've been to, sweet people, open minded, ready to listen and help if needed. Perfect costumer service, seriously 11/10. From the day we checked in, to our checkout we felt really welcome there. -The breakfast was amazing, everything was very fresh, or freshly cooked. Everything tasted incredibly good, from the nice and crispy bacon, to the lovely creamy scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and amazing sweet bakings. -The hotel location is perfect, dead centre of the city, everything important is close. Train station, restaurants, parks where to relax, shops. Definitely a place where i will return and suggest everyone to go and try. I can't wait to have another stay in the Clarion hotel.

Due to the storm, Otto, we could not get over the bridge to Denmark and we had to stay in Malmö for the night. We got a room for the night, and even though they were almost fully booked, we also got a set at the restaurant. The service was really good and we want to thank Clarion Hotel Malmö for good hospitality.
