This certainly didn't feel like a 4-star hotel. I suppose the main benefits are the location in the centre and the rooftop garden, which is quite an oasis (although not terribly well maintained). The staff were also friendly. However, the state of interior is not exactly fresh. My room had peeling wallpaper, scratch marks all over, and even pen marks on the wall. I also booked this hotel specifically because I wanted a room with a bath but the bath was about a metre long - so no regular adult can actually fit in it. The room didn't seem terribly clean either (noticeably, there was a long hair hanging from the shower). I wouldn't have minded so much if the hotel actually advertised itself as anything other than a four-star hotel. All in all, everything with the hotel worked fine. But the condition of the hotel means that I wouldn't stay there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else - especially considering the price.

SOMETHING SMELLY LINGERS AT THIS HOTEL After you have checked in at the reception in the lobby, you will take the elevator up to the 6th or 7th floor where the rooms are located. Once the elevator doors open you will feel it immediately! It’s everywhere! It is in the green, yellow, and orange checkered (!!) carpet down the corridors. It lingers in the diarrhea-colored walls as you move towards your assigned room. It is the intense stink of sewage! As you use your keycard and open the door you will realize that the stink is even more intense in your room. It even lingers in your bed, sheets, and pillows. If you are there with a partner, you will discuss this smell on and off during your stay … perfect for a romantic weekend in Malmö - if the constant smell of mixed human feces is your thing that is. Water pressure is excellent. PS. My friend stayed there the week before, and had the exact same experience ... so the smell was not just a one day thing

The location of the hotel is very central and close to the main rail station, so that you can reach the hotel in 10-15 minutes walking. Arriving at the hotel, you will be welcomed by the reception, which is really nice and very kind. In my case, it was Ms. Jasmin which made me feel welcomed and answered all my questions and supported me with my start in Malmö. The rooms are fine, although they could be renovated to be in better shape. But keeping in mind that the price in comparison to other hotels was a bit lower, it is a fair price. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was really good. I must mention, that the breakfast can compete with 5 star hotels. The check out (in my case again with Ms. Jasmin) was fast and without any problems. And I am sure that I will head this hotel again if the staff remains this kind and the price remains fair.

Room was a little old but have everything we needed. We were located on the 7 floor which had fewer people and also the window was facing the trees instead of the garden on level 6. If you prefer privacy do get the room on level 7. We felt the room was quite hot so luckily there was a fan to help with ventilation. The windows can be opened but beware of the insects that may fly in. The toilet had a stench near the pipes but we did not request to change rooms. Soap and towels are provided. Room service has to be requested before 12pm at reception. The staff are overwhelmingly friendly and nice to guests, it was great. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. There is a wide spread of hot and cold items. The sauna on level 6 can only be used 5-10pm and towels & soap are provided. The laundry room is also on level 6 and can be used anytime. Only one washer and dryer so subject to availability. Washing powder is provided. Location is about 10min walk to the station

Staying at this hotel with husband and daughter was a very good experience. Our room was ok, breakfasts with a lot of tasty food. The roof garden is very nice 😊 I guess I might make another booking there.

I had really low expectations about the room but what we had in there was really amazing! The breakfast has lots of variations and it is tasty, the room has everything one needs and also the garden is simply the best. Also it’s not far away from the Railway Station. Very nice hotel in beautiful Malmö!

Beds were of very poor quality. All of them were very soft and many of them rather old. We had the possibility to check the beds in other two rooms (great thanks to the wonderful staff), but each of them was of the same poor quality. The mattresses were absolute horrible! We slept there for 4 nights, but we rather would say "we tried to sleep". We are lucky to be at home now. I really don't understand how this hotel got four stars. We are used to larger rooms and better beds, that's the minimal. The breakfast and the staff were indeed really great ... a lot of things to choose from ... but is this enough to get four stars??

At first we were skeptical about the small rooms, but we quickly forgot about it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly, the sauna is very good, the location fantastic, and the breakfast was epic.

Pretty basic hotel but ok for the price. Rooms are small and basic, but comfortable. They were not the tidiest when we moved in. Breakfast buffet has limited but some vegan options. Staff was very nice.

The place was lovely and the staff was very nice. The atmosphere was okay, could really use some soft lights in the reception. Was extremely dark at night and hard to go in and out and a little extra light during the breakfast would be perfect.

The hotel is nice and clean and the staff friendly. The morning buffet is excellent with a lot of different dishes. At top of the hotel there is a nice and quiet garden, perfect for a snack or a glass of wine.

Room comfortable enough. Hotel dated but does the job. No WiFi coverage extended to part of hotel we had our room. Management needs to adjust or boost signal so all guests can benefit from WiFi. Breakfast very well done, excellent job with that. Parking….so the city parking garage is part of the same building as the hotel. Enter on left side through gate, this will allow you to drive up a level. Insert credit card to enter, no ticket given. At top of ramp take a right (level 2) and another right. You will find an entrance to the hotel well marked about half way down on the left side. So, find a spot to park then enter into the hotel from that level. You can take a left and then down the stairs to the lobby. You can pay for parking at the hotel at check in, just have your car license plate information to save yourself a trip back up to your car.

The room was just fine, a little dated as others mentioned. Staff was very friendly and the location is excellent. Breakfast was the highlight without a doubt!

The hotel has a good location, mediocre rooms,but overall ok. Rooms are clean. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired though! Pretty bad! Scrambled eggs looked like climps of white- yellow clay, and tastes as much. Cooked eggs( one kind) were good day 1. Day 2,they didn't have any eggs at 9.00 o clock( breakfast is served 7.30-11)?!?!? And they said to me that they don't have any more left for the day?!? Overall limited selection of food,bakeoff bread,just really not worth it.

Great hotel in a very good location near the main train station, the old town of the city. The price is also attractive. Breakfast is also included, the krie is really great - a lot of choice of both hot and cold food and drinks. Good service, a place to store luggage. What I liked most was the free coffee with cookies and fruit at the reception. If I had to stay in Malmö again, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Great hotel right in the center of Malmö. Rooms are small but cozy. And has a great breakfast selection. When I come back to Malmö, I will definitely stay here again.

The Pictures on the booking.com website looked way better then the actual Hotel. Here I give you a list with my pros and cons: Pros: - located right in the middle of the city center, you can walk everywhere - the breakfast was ok - the sauna was nice and clean - the shower - the stuff is very friendly and helpfull Cons: - all the Windows in the Hotel are super dirty - the room: although we could upgrade, because I asked for another one due to the dirtyness, it was not that much cleaner and could use a renovation - too expensive for the experience (not 4 stars worth)

A very old hotel, in some places in our room the wallpaper was already missing from the walls. The lighting in the room was bad. There was a hairdryer available but no outlet in the bathroom to plug it in which felt kinda absurd. The staff did not feel very motivated. The floor carpet looks like it's 50+ years old, that's basically the vibe that the entire hotel gives off with the exception of the front desk area. In some hotels you come in and you can feel right at home because the hotel and the staff give you a good vibe. With Hotel Garden it was the opposite. We only stayed for a night so it was "OK". The room in general was clean enough and the bed was fine for the two of us. Not totally comfortable but ok. Considering the price however compared to another hotel that we stayed at right before coming here, it is really not good.

Rooms are a bit smal and beds are to soft. The hotel is very clean and the personnel is very friendly. Breakfast is good but misses an overview.

In centrum and that means you can take great walk to enjoy the city. We got a room on the 6th floor and it had an amazing park out not long from the room we got, so you can open your window to enjoy the garden view.

GREAT EXPERIENCE The hotel location is excellent for exploring Malmö. Super close to central station,and right in the city center. Rooms were clean and big. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices for all tastes. Staff was helpful and welcoming. You also have tea and coffee available all day with some biscuits for free. Totally recommended, I'll stay again there in my next visit to this city.

Comfortable rooms in a large building. Very quiet (the room was surrounding the inner garden). Fantastic location to the city center and next to the canal where you can rent a pedal boat for an hour or more. Well appreciated the 2 dumbbells present in the room and a link to a workout app. Very original and useful.

Great location and service. The hotel is clean and presents an amazing breakfast every morning. The rooms/bathroom might small for some, but I found them just right and very comfortable. Absolutely recommend it.

Profils Hotels at Malmö was a really pleasant hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was excellent. The amount of different food available was great and a lot of it was classic Nordic breakfast stuff which I personally love. The room also had dumbbells which was a fun surprise! Overall the price matched the quality of the service and the added bonus of the great breakfast and sauna services really made my stay at Malmö better. I'd recommend this Profils location whole heartedly.

Rooms are small, but very clean. Gardens on the roof of the hotel, you cand enjoy the grass on top of the 6th floor. The breakfast has everything you need, from salmon, to soup, gems , vegetarian and gluten free foods. They also provide ginger and turmeric juices, every morning. Basically you have everything you need for breakfast. Child friendly, equipped with chairs and food for children. I is near the center, near restaurants and everything you need.

It's a great location in the city centre of Malmo, just a good one for to hop on when you are driving up north in Sweden and want to stay for one night. You can park in the parking lot and walk directly to the hotel from the lot. A good advice to walk around the Day after in Malmo for just half a Day max a Day should be fine. Tip: combine Malmo with the city of Lund as well!

We made the reservation through Revolut. The only thing that mattered to us was the proximity to the center, so we had no expectations about the hotel. However, as soon as we arrived, we were very surprised by the hotel itself and especially by the friendliness of the staff. In the lobby of the hotel, near the reception, there is a corner for coffee and relaxation. Of course, coffee and biscuits are free for hotel guests. There is a very nice little garden at the top of the building (sixth floor) that guests can use. The rooms are slightly less spacious, but contain everything you need. I was particularly impressed by the cosmetics in the bathroom. The rooms are already a little worn, they could use a little renovation. But it didn't bother us because we spent most of our time in the city anyway. The hotel also has a sauna, but we did not use it. What certainly delighted us was the breakfast. In such a small space, so much variety of food. The pleasant ambience makes it easy to enjoy breakfast in the morning. The overall impression is excellent, and with the excellent location and friendly staff, I recommend this hotel to everyone.
