This place is a dump. It's past 11pm, and the central heating doesn't work. There is no thermostat in the room, so I can't turn up the heat. There is no phone in the room so I can't ask for help. I went down to the front desk where I was told the heating is controlled by a special screw which they don't have the right tool to adjust. I was handed an electric heater and asked to carry it up and plug it in, not even a courtesy offer of doing it themselves at this hour. This isn't service. I have seen budget hostels do better than this clown show. Avoid.

I stayed two nights, not consecutive. The first time I got a room facing the back and I didn't like very much. The second time I got a much better room, facing the canal. I did like the room and appreciate the kindness of the staff to have allocated it to me. I like the charisma of this hotel. It is very well located.

I loved staying at the Elite Savoy. Compared to other hotels I stayed at when in Copenhagen, the rooms at the Savoy were not small (by American standards) and were luxuriously appointed. Lots of little details, including fixtures and decor, made it feel personalized, not at all like a chain hotel you’d find in the US. This location is PERFECT, right next to the train station and off the canal, in case you want to take the tour, and easy access to restaurants and the castle. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, so I can’t speak to that, but I’m sure it’s up to the high standards of the establishment. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Would stay here again! Stayed for two nights. Staycation for myself and my wife. We've stayed here before so we knew somewhat to expect. Elite Hotel Savoy is very conveniently located just across the channel from Malmö Central station. Pretty much in walking distance to basically everything in Malmö city centre. This also means that if you don't fancy a walk a taxi won't cost you a fortune. I can highly recommend using either Uber or Taxi97. Hotel Savoy was once Malmös most posh hotel but the years has caught up with it. Don't get me wrong, it is still a beautiful hotel, but the years are starting to show. We stayed in suit 502 which has both separate shower an bouble bath. This particular weekend we had a record rise in temperature here in Malmö and the temperature was around 30C. The AC in the suite handled this beautifully, two separate AC's, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. The breakfast in our opinion is superior in this category. The staff did a superb job seeing to it that it was all fresh. Love the fact that they offer mushrooms together with the bacon, baked beans and scrambled eggs. Also they offer a coffee menu where staff are on standby to cater your special coffee-order. (Of course they offer very nice Swedish brewing coffee on tap also) Sadly, the restaurant only offers breakfast, but they have a co-op with the pub nextdoor that offers dinner. However, you're better off checking the local scenery of restaurants. Shout out to the guy checking us in! Super serviceminded and very professional! Plus for the nice breakfast and the serviceminded staff. Really nothing on the minus-side.

The traditional feeling of this hotel was rather good. The old elevator was amazing and it made me realize that I came to Sweden. The breakfast was great and the atmosphere was really crazy😍The great location close to the subway station is also good. But the room view wasn't good. I don't think there was a city view because some of it was under construction. The view was bad, so I felt a little dark and stuffy in the room. Oh, and the hotel staff were very kind. I want to go back to Malmö..

The hotel bed was so spongy that you could feel the bed springs. The receptionist gave us a new better room though and was very polite. Both rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. Bathrooms should be renovated.

Hotel is Nice. Good location. Breakfast room was crowded and small compared to size of hotel. Rooms kind of Old fashioned

I really enjoyed my stay due to the sauna/spa area. There is also a parking garage nearby wich is very tight, although suited for a large SUV.

It took almost one hour to check in and enter my room. A card key was not functioning and I have to go up and down 3 times. The lady at the reception was rude, never apologized, kept repeating it sould be functioning. In the end she changed the room and finally I could get in.

I was here for 6 days. Not the best upto date rooms or facilities but the Annexe is quite. Off the beaten path but extremely close the T-CENTRALEN Malmö. Breakfast is fine. Not the biggest but totally fine. Best Bishops arms is perfect. Excellent beer offering and fish and chips is really good. Not over the top large but good quality. The hotel grew on me. Not gym but Sats is 8mins away.

Hotel staff along with duty manager amazing! The manager helped me out with mistake I made with my booking. I just moved in to Malmo and received amazing support ! Many thanks!

Everything was nice about the hotel except the smell on the second floor where I stayed. In the hallways, it always smelled as if there were a vent from the sewage system which was very unpleasant.

Nice hotel, but my room was super noisy from 05.00am...didnt sleep after that due to the busy road outside. Bin lorry etc. Good breakfast

Very nice and welcoming staff in the reception. Rooms and breakfast OK, but below expectations for this classy looking hotel. Paper covers on the tables, cheap juices and my room had apparently not been renovated in a while. It seems thst you pay mostly for the brand and central location.

Very good experience from check in to check out. I made 2 bookings for my continous stay, the reception did amazing job to book me same room for the whole stay. And Malmo and Sweden overall, hotel is expensive, usually for the money i pay, i got super small room that enough only for small bed and a place to put my suitcase. But surprisingly i got like executive room with big bed, chair table with separate area for cabinet and my suitcase. What i love is also the breakfast choices, i feel so sad that need to leave early and miss the breakfast. Location can’t be closer than the central train station. Just cross the bridge and you are there. Shopping area and bunch of resto are just 5 min walking away. It was snowy days, and you have amazing views from the big windows. Definitely will stay here again.

They canceled a booking I made months ago without explanation or offering an alternative. No hotels or accommodations are available in Malmo for Eurovision dates. Perhaps they canceled due to my booking being cheaper than their current exorbitant prices. Initially, they claimed it was a system fault, but there have been no responses to my messages and emails for a week. Zero trust. Won't be booking with any of their hotels again.

This is an old hotel, from the 1700 (if not mistaken), so it's a bit of love or hate situation. The rooms are well maintained, a bit of a challenge to understand the layouts and finding your room. Some rooms would not have any view at all, just viewing the back of a building. The water heater will take some time, more than 5 minutes to reach you, but it's available. All facilities are available, fridge, iron, tv, safe box, etc. Location is the best part of this hotel. It is close to everything in Malmo.

Great location, clean and quiet rooms, the layout got me lost a couple of times but the breakfast more than made up for it. Excellent breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon, and a lot of other options! Yum

I have to complain about the confusing booking. So my wife booked one night for 1355kr. She tells me later that she clicked a link by mistake that had pictures of a room. By this link she confirmed an upgrade apperently by mistake. I call elite hotel office and ask if she has done any mistakes and they said on the phone yesterday that the room will cost 1355kr. When we arrive the next day did we have o pay 1919kr because the link apperently upgraded the room. Its not a big deal but we didn't plan in our budget to pay 500 extra for this small trip. I called back to the elite hotel office and they couldn't help us. Well it's sad, things like this makes us not choose elite hotel next time.

    - be aware before booking because apparently there is another hotel next to the building, and you can end up getting a room there and the rooms are not 4* for sure. (And you won’t be informed about that just when you are check-ing in) - we didn’t received any informations at the reception beside how to use the card key. (We had to aks about the breakfast and other informations) - the rooms are old, our room didn’t had a hairdryer and the heating in the room didn’t worked. - When you go to the breakfast, which is in the main building, of course you had to dress up well because you have to go out on the street and after that in the main building. - the breakfast was good - the location is excellent do to the fact that across the hotel is the bus station for the Airport and also the Central Station.

Nice staff very service minded, the place needs an update here and there. Their big coffe mugs needs to be cleaned better. Good lunch. Very nice features when it comes to the old furniture and decor.

Stayed here before because of its location to the station. Rooms are nice and clean. The hotel was a very stylish hotel from days gone by but misses some of the refinements from more modern hotels are missing. Reception staff were excellent, the breakfast was ok but the breakfast staff were not attentive at all. They didn't seem to have a clue on how manage the breakfast service. Perhaps they were understaffed, but they could have been managed better. Usually in hotels this where they normally excel.

Can't beat the location, and the breakfast is very nice, but I'm not thrilled with the room. Bed is creaky and uncomfortable, there is only cold water in the sink, and the shower is in rough shape. The shower head is old and sprays water from places it shouldn't spray water from. There is no barrier in there either, so the floor outside the shower fills up with water that can't escape into the drain so it just sits there. There are also cracks and holes in the walls/ceilings. I guess not surprising for an old building? If you're of limited mobility, you should probably specify that when booking. My room would not have been accessible by a wheelchair due to several short sets of stairs.

Perfect place to stay over in Malmö, in particular if you want close access to the trains and busses. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff are very professional, pleasant and helpful.

My partner and I booked a room last minute here after a terrible Air BnB experience. The manager who checked us in, Oscar, was so welcoming and upgraded us for free. He helped us make the most of our last night in Malmö! The hotel is very convenient to the train station and rest of the city. Rooms seem to vary a lot in size, but our suite on the 5th floor was huge with an amazing view. Breakfast was also nice, but recommend you sign up for an earlier time.

Beautiful place in the center of Malmö! My room was clean and I had very comfortable bed. There was few vegan options at breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!

Visiting Malmö on a regular basis for business purposes I choose Savoy every time. Having stayed at most of the hotels in Malmö Savoy is the only one that lives up to my expectations of an international business hotel. It’s not just the amazing canal view, the crispy morning croissants or the fact that the historical building itself has been beautifully renovated. It’s also equipped with the, by far, best staff in town. Anyone who has met Lisa or Oscar in the reception, experienced their happy, responsive and highly service minded mindset, knows what I am talking about.

I love this hotel and the great service provided! Emilia, who was working the front desk, was so helpful and kind! Really made the experience special for my partner and I. The breakfast is an absolute delight, with a great selection of Swedish classics and high quality continental breakfast! And a little make-your-own waffle station! Loved it!

The hotel has a great location with a beautiful view. The room was big enough for two, we were surprised but not put off by the décor. Staff were friendly and inviting from start to finish. You also have the possibility to leave the luggage for a few hours after check-out. Good value for the money. We’re already planning a trip to Malmö in the near future and we'll definitely stay here again.

I can’t fault this hotel. Stayed here just over a week and pretty much everything was perfect. Amazing service all round, the staff went out of their way to make sure I had the best possible stay, in every department. The rooms were comfortable and stylish, lovely decor throughout the hotel in its classical design but at the same time updated and fresh. Great facilities, the sauna was a real bonus! Amazing breakfast and food at the bishops arms. Rounded off by the easy and convenient location. It would be fair to say the best 4 star hotel I’ve stayed in by a longshot :) Highly recommend it and I’ll be back next time I’m in Malmo! The only slightly disappointing aspect was that parts of the hotel were still being renovated during my stay, which was a bit of a shame but surely necessary and temporary, so not an issue! Thanks again guys for a great stay.

This is a great hotel! I stayed here with my girlfriend recently for two nights and there really is nothing negative I can say. Room cost us SEK 1,724 for two nights, it was modern, quiet and spacious enough for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and big enough for us both. The staff was friendly right from the start - In some hotels you come in and you can feel right at home because the hotel and the staff give you a good vibe. This is exactly what we got here. We also enjoyed dinner and drinks in the connected bar-restaurant "The Bishop's Arms". There's also a lovely library-style lounge area where you can sit down and have a drink and relax. The location of the hotel is great, it's right across the river & bridge from Malmö central station. When we arrived by train we had to walk maybe 5 minutes to get to the hotel.

Went here as a conference guest. The fika was okay but not great. Staff was not able to help with their own technical equipment.

Excellent staff! I forgot my electric shaver in the room I was staying and I noticed it 5 days later. I called the hotel: surprisingly they found it and send it to me by mail. Thanks again :)

Reception made me feel welcome. The lobby is a little art deco gem: lots of lovely details to marvel at for a design-interested person. Looks better in person than in my photos. This is the best hotel near the train station and main city square. By contrast, two other scandic hotels on the square involuntarily “participate” in the Friday and Saturday night gatherings of youth and gang members revving their latest cars and motor cycles until 3am, whereas this hotel and location is nearby but shielded from that noise.

Even though it is a beautiful hotel with great breakfast, the building itself is very old, the heating system as well. It will be repaired soon, but till then try to have a shower when everybody else does!
