Location is the winning point of this hotel. Proximity of Central station and city center, makes this hotel worth the visit. Room was okay. Beds could be more comfortable but that did not affect our sleep. But hygiene in our room was disappointing (like dust in corners of our room) Breakfast was fresh and offered great variety of different meals and good coffee.

At first glance, the hotel seems to be elegant and modern, but already in the first days of my stay I saw many disadvantages of this facility. The TV in the room didn't have a single channel the furniture was old And even some pieces of furniture were missing important parts, for example the wardrobes had no doors and the large window in the room was permanently blocked with screws, so the room was often stuffy and hot. Food in the hotel was very different, breakfasts were generally tasty but some products were not of the highest quality and monotony reigned at breakfasts, dinners were generally not very tasty and sometimes even disgusting It felt that the dinners were stale and bland, although I have to admit that sometimes the dinners were really delicious. The service in the hotel was very good, everyone knew English and you could count on their help although sometimes some of the staff seemed a bit unpleasant, but everyone has the right to be in a bad mood. The location was great I could easily get to the most important places in the city and if I wanted to travel further I could walk to the nearby train and bus station :3

When my family and I arrived, our room wasn't ready so we had to change it. The beds were filthy, they had hairs and dirt on them. The walls had cables sticking out of them and there was gunk all over the floors, we even found an old ping pong ball next to a bed. One of the better things was the breakfast, they had lots of options but that was probably the only good thing about my stay there

The hotel sold my girlfriend a 2-night stay. Only a minor detail was, it was only valid for 6 months, during Covid 19 pandemic. Yay, a stay we can't come and enjoy. Now that the pandemic is over, they more or less just said "Sorry, the gift card is too old, have a nice day". The hotel doesn't really care about selling gift cards to people from other countries to rip them off. Great service, if it were China.

Really enjoyed our night in the hotel, room was excellent, could not ask for more. The breakfast was first class, and the hotel is ideally placed for Central station and surrounding area. Staff were fantastic, letting us leave our bags whilst we explored Malmo on our last day. Would stay here again.

1) Near to Malmö Central , just 5 mins walk. 2) Whole day front desk with friendly staff. The staff goes beyond to explain us the map and where to go in Malmö. Whole day unlimited coffee and tea 3) Spacious room with hangers, toiletries, towel, shampoo, hairdryer. But no kettle. 4) 2 chairs with one table near for relaxing. 2 more side tables near bed. 5) Good soundproof, not noisy, I had good sleep. 6) comfortable bed with study lamps 7) Two cupboard. 8) Breakfasts are great with so many varieties of food, have cereal, multiple types of drinks, cheese, bacon, brioche bun, bread, yoghurt, orange, grapes, eggs etc. 9) Washroom is spacious, only the wet and dry area compartment might not be so good after you showered. 10) There are many electric outlet, so rest assured you will have enough outlet to charge your electronic belongings. 11) Good view from the room.

Very good location just 3mins walk from central station. Friendly and helpful staff. Various choices for breakfast, which is included in room price. The curtain track in my room accidentally down, but the handy staff fixed it fast and well.

Good location, large room but not very well maintained. Good, inexpensive place to stay that is close to the main train station, but better (more expensive) options are readily available.

The Hotel is not as it was showing in the pictures. Really Disappointed , The hotel lobby is just like a prison, The rooms are also dilapidated, furniture is in worst condition , cupboard handles are broken, the washroom is also not in good condition .. sadly not a good experience anyhow the staff on reception was nice

Location is near central station, also near all attractions in city centre. Hotel breakfast was delicious and coffee and tea you have all day for free. Hotel rooms are big and cozy, you will have everything you need.

Very nice hotel and very good service. The room was very cozy and comfortable. Staff at the reception is quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast was too good and fresh. Everything is at a walking distance from the hotel.

Location is most important bonus. Nice lobby with real flowers, chairs and relax zone near fireplace. Great breakfast.

Good part: Location is really good, especially if you want to commute to other places and it's close to the city center of Malmö. Breakfast was also really worth it, delicious with different choices. Bad part: Rooms were super warm. Very small windows could be opened but the main window was locked. I assume since the building was old and it was on the last floor, it was insanely hot inside. We had a very small ventilator, but it didn't help much. I also asked several times for clothes iron for only half an hour to iron my clothes, but couldn't get it for four days. Room itself is okay for the money you pay, but I was unhappy with very old uncomfortable beds and with cleaning. Not a single time in four days our floor was mopped or any touch up in the room was done, not to mention towels. I think that the bare minimum could be done, it's not a lot of work. I also found someone's socks and dirt under the bed.

Advantage: - good price - location near the central station (everything in walking distance) - the room was very spacious - breakfast was tasty (fresh and with a good selection of Swedish food) - staff was friendly and helpful Disadvantages: - the room could have been cleaner - minor maintenance required in the room - no kettle in the room We only came for one night so this was perfect for us. We also were with 11 months old baby and that worked well.

Great stay. Clean and spacious room with large windows. Very close to train station and everything else you need is walking distance from the hotel. Excellent breakfast as well!

Great service and really good breakfast available! We stayed for two nights, the hotel is near the Malmö central station and it is easy to find.

Great location of the hotel, excellent breakfast, pleasant staff. We stayed in a quadruple room, the room was quite big. I recommend booking parking for a car through the hotel, it's really cheaper than elsewhere. Unfortunately, this hotel has its downsides. It is very hot in the room, there is no air conditioning. Only a tiny window opens, no fridge. On the last day, the bathroom and toilet room smelled like sewage. The hotel needs renovation.

Very close to the train station, plenty of places to eat near the hotel with a short walk. Parking, you must pay. My room had a view of the turning torso, excellent. Breakfast is OUTSTANDING. Nothing the hotel can do about this, but the seagulls were VERY loud which woke me up at times.

Decent hotel for a not-too-long stay. The hotel seems to be modern, but in reality, rooms have old furniture, sometimes they're missing some pieces (for example wardrobe doors). Staff is pleasant. Almost everyone speaks English very well. They are helpful too. The location is just great. It's a quiet place, but it's very close to the centre of a city, and main bus station. Food there just need improvement. Dinners are bland, dry, and underseasoned. Breakfasts are fine! The First Hotel Jörgen Kock was good. Not the best, not the worst. Just OK.

Location is perfect just next the central station. Service was decent and rooms spacious. Couple things didn't liked. Our bathroom smelled like wet cigarettes like really bad. In addition the heating cannot be turned off or controlled so we had to sleep with windows open.

This hotel is great - in the middle of the city center and to an amazingly low price. The rooms are very clean , the beds are super comfortable and the best thing is the outstanding hotel breakfast!

Ok, the hotel has definitely seen better day but all the same it is clean, fresh and well-maintained. The Staff are just lovely! Extremely helpful, friendly and understanding. Breakfasts are to die for: great variety, freshess and abundance of food. Diners acceptable. The only thing which seems strange to me: why turn of the machine with cappuccino, chocolate etc. and only turn it on during breakfasts?! Cmon, guys, with the hotel at this level is just weird! Conveniently located in the very center of the city yet in a quiet street. The price is REALLY good. I highly recommend this accommodation!! Kudoz!

Ok hotel. Quite affordable and close to the train station. Use to be housing for workers in the factories around. Rooms are clean and spacious but overall lacks a cozy feeling. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast very poor and not very tasty. Still a good choice if you are on a budget and want to stay centrally located.

Our room was unbelievably dirty, the shower was covered in dirt, the toilet seat was coming off and the previous room owners’ trash was all over the bathroom. The furnitures are outdated and worn-out, and the room itself had an unpleasant smell. There is no air conditioning and when you open the windows you have to give up on your rest/sleep because of the seagulls. The only good thing was the breakfast which was galore. Would not come back ever again. :(

Close to centralstation so no big huss with the luggages, clean and tidy, nice staff. No fancy pancy but everything u need for a stay in the room. Good wide choice for breakfast.

Meets standard expectations for a hotel with a warm welcome from staff at reception. Room had a full length mirror with generous natural lighting and opening windows yet frustratingly lacked bedside tables.

Great location- it is close to Malmö central station. The rooms are very clean and the service is the best! The food is very tasty and you can find traditional swedish dishes there.

Rooms are a little dated in design but that also means they're much bigger than similarly priced hotels. Some cleaning is missed e.g. very dusty light shade and shower screen marks. But the bedding and seating area were all very clean. Great breakfast continually being replenished throughout and tables cleaned promptly. Free tea and coffee available all day from the breakfast/lounge area. Location is great near västra hamnen and a few minutes walk from the central station (which has a late opening coop).

Like an old, prison building. Shower and bathroom looked like it was last updated in the 1970's. Two small pillows instead of full sized pillows. Silverfish coming from underneath the door frame in the bathroom.

I think this is very good hotel. For that price quality of rooms and services are on high level. Room was large,warm,clean and well equipped. We had also free buffet style breakfast. Location of this hotel is also perfect,just 5 minutes from Central railway station and city centre.

-Friendly staff and great choice for breakfast. -The garage is right across from the hotel, you will see in the pictures below and I think it was the cheapest option for parking (I paid 40-50 euros for parking for 3 nights). -The train/bus station is less than 5 minutes away, the center is less than 15 minutes away. -The price offered by the hotel is excellent. -Hygiene is top and you have free tea and coffee 24/7. -The only complaint is that the furniture is a bit old and needs renovation and the pillows were not very good for sleeping, but that's the least problem in the whole story in my opinion, because you go for a walk, not to sit in the hotel :).

We stayed here, my boyfriend and me for 6 days. It's comfortable and the service is good. They serve a very good breakfast with a lot of different things for everyone. And best of all, there's always free coffee, cappuccino, moka, tea and espresso in the dining room which is quite cosy. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. If you need a hotel in Malmö, stay here.

The hotel is located just few steps from the harbour and the central station, ideal spot for discovering Malmö. The room was basic but met all our needs. The breakfast had been included in the price and compared to the category it was quite delicious. The only big issue was the wifi - we could not get any signal in our room, and the receptionist said it is an issue with our devices. Certainly there was not any issues with our phones as we used them everywhere else, event we got the signal in the lobby, but not in our room. Other than that, I can recommend the hotel for a short stay ;)
