i booked a bed in female dorm and the moment i stepped into the hostel i suddenly felt the urge to run away and come back home. i feel so sorry to roast it since the staff was very nice and honest to me, but at the same time i can’t hide the fact that this was probably the worst hostel i’ve ever been to. the dorm was dirty and the lockers way too small for anything (i ended up placing my luggage under my bed). the room was extremely hot and had no ac, just a fan to share between eight people (which clearly isn't it). apart from the dorm, the building is small (has only the ground floor), which comes in handy when you learn that the toilets are shared with all the other customers, which is absolutely not made clear on websites. the corridors have moquette (which to me is always a red flag, idk about y'all) and smell awfully (similar to the smell of a wet dog, pleasing right?). the shared room, kitchen and toilets are not inviting at all, so i tried to spend as less time as i could there. the service, as i said, was probably the only nice thing (even the position isn't ideal, pretty far from the centre): they welcomed us, and personally explained where everything was. the place, however, was what it was: don't go there, i do not recommend this hostel. instead, go somewhere else where you spend a little more than 25eur per night.

Absoluter Mistladen.

This hostel is dangerous. For your safety and that of your family, avoid it. Get rid of the annoying Bob Marley looking guy in the house!

This hostel has bed bugs and when I alerted staff they did not seem surprised at all. I've been waiting for management to get in touch but no response at all. I was bitten all over and still nothing from the owners.

Convenient, clean & cheap -- perfect place to stay for the frugal traveler. Be sure to make a reservation ahead through email, FB or Booking dot com. You can't book through their website. Last night (June 9), the place was full. Great service, receptionist went out of his way to help.

It looked like our dorm has not been checked or cleaned for some time! There was rubbish (empty bottles, cans and packaging) next to the beds, liquids were spilt on the floor, the bedsheets and mattress were dirty, the lockers were broken and could not be used... It seemed like some guests were living in the dorm for a longer time and had spread their belongings over the whole room. Some of my friends got scabies from the bedsheets: we informed the hostel about it, but they didn't seem to care! Would not recommend this hostel!!

I chose this hostel because I saw the lowest price. I chose a room only for women, it is wonderful that there is a lamp and a curtain near the bed, sockets, but one of them did not work. the staff is friendly, you can call them in any cases .2 kitchens, several bathrooms and hair dryers, separate toilets and different types of rooms. for the price, the room was more than great, by the way, you can use their appliances to cook food. Also, the staff allowed me to leave my suitcase at the reception before check-in time, and after check-out, when there was no access to the room, I was able to charge my phone at the reception. thank them for that, too

This hostel is pretty good and the lowest price I could find in Malmö. It’s 30 minutes walking from the Central train station. The two managers are absolutely lovely people and this place has the essentials (two kitchens, clean bedding, a laundry room, and multiple bathrooms and showers). However, the hostel is a bit grungy and outdated. For example, my bed’s curtain had fallen off and never been replaced and some shower heads had been unscrewed from the wall making you hold them in your hand to shower. My biggest problem is that there’s no age limit on the guests they accept. I was rooming with people 3x my age who weren’t courteous to the other guests trying to sleep. I was uncomfortable being the only young adult in a room full of 50-60 year olds. This is not the place for young travelers to meet new people and socialize. However, for a few nights, the wifi is reliable, the beds are comfortable, and the managers are lovely so I could stay here again.

I got bitten by bed bugs in room 19, bed 16!!! Around 8 bites on my arms. I had to wait quite a bit outside for the personal to open even dough I was there during there opening hours. You have to put on the sheets on the bed by yourself, which is ridiculous considering the price you pay. They dont have enough lockers for all guests in the room. I would give the whole experince max a 5 out of 10 if they did not have bed bugs.

Let's be honest, I wouldn't stay here for longer then one night. The reception is more or less non existing. Even the location is not that great that I'd stay it's fine because of it. For one night was okay, wouldn't recommand for more.

This place is bad! The sheets they gave us were dirty and we got scabies. In general the place is neglected and dirty. There is no control of the people who live there and they don't seem to have a cleaning service.

That place deserves negative marking. The worst place I ever lived and it was booked by another person for me. Even though it was booked for two nights I stayed for one night since there were bed bugs and I was bitten all over my body.

Rooms and the whole place looked dirty and not taken care of. Kitchen was dirty and disgusting, bathrooms were tiny but better. You need to pay extra for duvet and towels as well, if you need it. Luckily no bedbugs but the bed itself wasn't the cleanest. I do not recommend this place - apparently it is a 3-star hotel, I wouldn't give it 1 star.

AMAZING place and amazing people. Very clean, nice rooms and bathrooms Very complete kitchen (there are 2) and two really nice common places with tables and chairs. The room has a huge window that gives cool light and fresh air! The crew is really helpful and well predisposed! It's half hour from Central station so it's close to arrive by walking if you want!

The place deserves better rating, maybe they did some changes because during my visit everything was super clean and well maintained. The stuff were super friendly and helpful and made me feel home.

With limited options of inexpensive accommodation I came here. This hostel was not hard to find from the central station which was nice. To walk every day to find something 'interesting' was a bit of a drag. About 20 minutes from the city centre. The area felt empty, and quiet. The hostel has 2 relatively well-equipped kitchens and small congregation areas in both. The people staying there were very mixed in age, mostly male, but friendly if you wanted to have a conversation or small-chat . The beds were comfortable and the linens were basic. They had lockers that were sufficient if you had smaller luggage, otherwise lock up your belongings. The bedroom (18bed) door was propped open all day every day which was kind of weird. I think I used my pin-code 3 times? Showers were decent as well. I had booked 4 nights well in advance and ended up cutting my losses and left Malmö after 3 nights. It probably would have been more fun with a travel buddy.

The dorm beds are about the hardest bed you can find. But I have to admit, the staffs were helpful. Kitchens were more than adequate. It's just those rooms and beds weren't comfortable.

The room is very well organised and feel cosy even if there are a lot of beds! The bathrooms are also very nice and the there are some space in the kitchens and living room where we can chill. The staff is very kind also. Overall a very good hostel for the price !

Nice, affordable, sweet inside like huge apartment with a lot of rooms. But negative thing no air-conditioning inside my room. Windows are high positioned and small and just little opened but we have big fan inside room who's mske air flow to fell better like with ac 😅

Since the price for bunker bed is as low as 220 SEK and my experience of most of the guests has been very good, the cleaning of toilets, showers etc are done each day, the staff is friendly and serviceminded I am happy to give this hostel highest grades.

The hosts are very nice, the wifi was good, and it was relatively quiet. It's far away from the central station and for someone who was in Malmö for a convention located near the station that turned out to be a big drawback. The duvets are also fairly thin and it took a while to warm up after my walks. Otherwise my stay was nice! I quite enjoyed having the curtains in front of the beds in the dorm so I got mlre privacy than I expected.

Beyond the fact that the hotel is not clean and poorly maintained (cigarette butt and used razor found on the empty towel dispenser in the toilets, baseboards covered in crumbs among other things, ventilation blocked with tape, etc.) we have found my two friends and I at least sixty BED BUGS on our box spring, the footboards, behind the mirror as well as on the floor. In shock, I noticed the member of staff that evening who came into my room and minimized the importance of the problem by repeating to me that I had to remain calm, saying "another one bite the dust" to every time he killed a bedbug with his spray. We were not offered any other replacement rooms or other linens. We wanted to use the washing machines available but they were taken over by this member of staff who immediately used one of them for his work clothes, and the other for the infested curtains. We had no choice but to sleep through the night when we discovered these bedbugs. Incidentally, on the day of our arrival, the rooms were not ready and were cleaned upon our arrival... Don't go to this hotel.
