The
elevator
was
not
operational
for
the
entire
stay
(2
nights),
which
we
were
only
informed
on
after
payment
was
made
(despite
the
fact
that
we
called
earlier
that
day
prior
to
making
the
booking
to
confirm
that
everything
was
in
operational
state).
When
we
complained
about
false
advertising
and
the
inconvenience,
not
only
did
the
staff
not
offer
a
refund
but
also
did
not
do
anything
to
make
up
for
the
inconvenience
caused
by
non-functioning
elevator
(eg.
Help
carrying
suitcase
up
to
the
top
floor
or
even
change
the
room
to
a
lower
floor).
Both
management
and
reception
staff
of
this
hotel
do
not
have
either
the
mindset
or
the
customer
service
skills
to
work
in
hospitality.
For
a
supposedly
4
star
establishment
the
staff
should
value
the
customer
experience
and
aim
for
repeat
business.
Both
management
and
reception
staff
had
a
mindset
of
doing
bare
minimum
no
matter
the
circumstances.
People
like
this
ruin
the
reputation
of
the
Scandic
Hotel
brand.
