I found a big spider and realized it also had two friends, plus all around the list of the ceiling it had spun its web and I could see it walking there waiting for its prey. Fascinating! Like so much web, when did they clean up there? At 2 Am, I was luckily awake and managed to catch it because it crawled close to me so I carried it out. This is normally a good hotel but this time it wasn't.

Music from nightclub under the hotel into room. Unable to sleep. Registered 45db inside our room... Utter joke. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!!! IT - IS - DREADFUL!!! Very frequent traveler and really has to be one of worst in years I've stayed at. Ruind a vacation. Want a refund.

Great location and enjoyable breakfast spread. We had previously requested for twin beds however we were given a queen bed. We were told that because it was booked under Agoda, the request was not passed onto them. The hotel gives off a “tired” old feel. Otherwise we enjoyed the small but decent gym.

Booked 2 rooms over the booking platform for a family of 4. The rooms didn't look like proposed at booking! Horrible beds with old mattresses. Had to change the rooms twice, first because they offered us a non-smoker room which smelled like an ashtray. Second, because we couldn't find sleep, when the disco under our room started at midnight.... Surely perfect for partypeople, nothing for a family with children.

An old hotel from about 1900 but with updated rooms and facilities. I have been staying here since 2004. Now part of Scandic chain.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the city center, just at a square. All sights are in walking distance. Unfortunately, most of the place seems to be very used and needs renovation. The room was spacious and clean, though you could hear the noise from the alleys easily. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of warm and cold options. WiFi was fast, staff very friendly and helpful. For parking you'll need to go to one of the garages nearby, all in walking distance though. Just acceptable for the 86€ I paid per night.

"Lovely" place. After telling the receptionist to change my room because current one is sinking in water next one I got was the "last room available" and was dripping water from ceiling too.Dirty rooms with bugs, dust everywhere, stink of dump chalk, even the breakfast room had dirty staimed seats. Aaaand because its in the middle of the town the streets at night are noisy. No noise insulation cause its an old hotel. Worst hotel experience I ever had.

Nice hotel overall in very convenient location. Parking was difficult and direction to find hotel parking inconvenient. Staff were courteous enough but not overly helpful or accommodating. Rooms very small (barely large enough for two twin beds to fit). Huge inconvenience is the night club right next to the hotel that blasts music until 3:00AM each night - impossible to shut out bass/vibrations (had earplugs/headphones, etc. and nothing worked). Asked front desk staff to be given another room and nothing available. Be warned if you like any peace and quiet at night.

Single pane windows, don't close tight by simple hooks (air blows through several mm gaps), environmentally catastrophic building. Airportlike, ugly retroactively lowered ceiling in the imposing hallways to save energy but leaky windows still the root cause (icy temp plus noise till morning). Service still very friendly striving. room size claustrophobic.

The elevator was not operational for the entire stay (2 nights), which we were only informed on after payment was made (despite the fact that we called earlier that day prior to making the booking to confirm that everything was in operational state). When we complained about false advertising and the inconvenience, not only did the staff not offer a refund but also did not do anything to make up for the inconvenience caused by non-functioning elevator (eg. Help carrying suitcase up to the top floor or even change the room to a lower floor). Both management and reception staff of this hotel do not have either the mindset or the customer service skills to work in hospitality. For a supposedly 4 star establishment the staff should value the customer experience and aim for repeat business. Both management and reception staff had a mindset of doing bare minimum no matter the circumstances. People like this ruin the reputation of the Scandic Hotel brand.

The hotel is centrally located, easily you can reach it on foot from Malmö Central station within 10 minutes, busses and trains to all main places in Sweden, Denmark and EU few hundreds metres away. The personnel does an excellent job and they do offer a quite decent selection of meats (ham, turkey pastrami, warm bacon, fennel salami, warm chicken sausages, warm meatballs). The selection of cheese is a bit limited to just 3 choices of cheese as well as just 3 types of fruit. The smoothie and the home-made juice is top! Only inconvenient the loud music Fridays and Saturdays from the neighbouring disco/ pubs

Never again Scandic! Check-in was two hours late and the service very poor. Boring hotel, that’s not worth the price and experience, sadly. Good location.

Located in very center of Malmö. This means music from nearby nightclub, cabs, people having fun and fireworks all night long. By hotel offers earplugs. Very nice of them! Had very good room, warm, light. Pancakes for breakfast. Really enjoyed my stay.

We booked this specific hotel because they have bicycles for guests to use. Only 2 bikes for the entire hotel. Major disappointment. Super basic small rooms. No vents or a/c. Loud at night.

The staff is very kind but the management is on crack. We were there for a project where 30 artist was supposed to be isolated from other people but the hotel failed big time. The whole concept got destroyed by other guests invading our private areas.

I had really nice time in this hotel. Great location, kind and friendly staff, clean room, sauna and bathtub!

4 stars- It was a good choice: perfect location, clean room, pro breakfast, nice and polite staff. I wilk be back. :-) The missing one star- the room was a little bit cold, for me.
