In all honesty, it is the worst nightclub you can visit. I went there with my girlfriend to have a wonderful time, but what happened was a disaster. One of the guards came to the table and asked me to buy more drinks even though I had bought four or more beers. I told them, “You cannot ask for that”, and after five minutes the other guard came and asked me to leave for no reason. It was a terrible experience.

We couldn't get in because the guard claimed my friend looked drunk and we tried twice but they told us that we couldn't come here until tomorrow. Funny story, we hung out for half an hour after being turned down the first time then went back for a second try. This time I was told that even I looked drunk, however I am allergic to alcohol and can't drink it.

Terribly discriminatory and violent guards who are protected by a PR team who really couldn't care less if they tried

Great place to get culturally enriched by foreign invaders. If you don't like men grabbing your junk, be prepared to take a bottle to the face. Just remember Swedes: This is what you wanted.

Small dancefloor but good vibes and friendly people on the inside and working in the bar. The guards really dragged it down though and were really hostile to my partner for absolutely no reason, which makes me wish we never went.

My first night in Sweden we went to this place. All I can say is watch out what name you have , and what religion you belong to. Antisemitism at its finest ! I was with my Girlfriend and her friends , and because I sat down , they accused me of being “to drunk” . Not only did the security guard say I should change my jewelry (it was a symbol of my religion) , once they asked for my name I could feel the hate towards me. They asked me to follow them , I did , as I wasn’t drunk , And then the police was waiting outside with 4 security guards , all this army of men for me one guy. I left the club with a very unpleasant experience, it has never happened to me. I will never go again.

I do not recommend this place since there is always violence and poor management by the security guards that is often non-professional and does bad decision making. They also do not announce how many floors that is open so you actually pay full price to be in a very crowded room.

Nightmare experience.. Worst place I've ever been to, do not go here. More security guards at this place than regular people. And as the other reviews say the guards all suffer from ego and aggression issues. We were punched, pushed up against a wall, and choked without cause. Me and two friends of mine payed the entrance fee, stayed there 20 min but wanted to leave because of the bad vibe. We grabbed our jackets and checked our phones for another place to go while indoors. It was pouring rain outside so we didn't want to stand outdoors but were told that we either go inside the club or leave immediately. Unaware of why, we asked what the reason was, and whether we could just stay inside for a few minutes while we checked the map, being very respectful. They immediately began being aggressive and demanding that we get out. We were complying but kept asking "why? What did we do?" This must've damaged their sensitive egos because they grabbed me and two friends and began pushing us outdoors. They grabbed me by my neck, pushed me through their fence and onto the street. They grabbed my other friend and threw her onto the sidewalk, and began punching her boyfriend in the face for telling them not to touch her, until he was bleeding from the mouth... I was shoved into a brick wall by the neck and told by one of the security guards that he owns all of malmö and will f me up if he sees me again. All of this while we were being respectful and only confused. Purely criminal. Luckily, we were approached by an incredibly kind undercover police officer who happened to be walking by, asked us if we were okay. We told him what happened and we were informed that many of the "security" guards were not official security, and simply made their own security shirts at home. Absolutely disgraceful place and I don't understand how it is even allowed to be open. Especially with all the similar stories in the reviews. If you're not convinced yet. The prices are absurd, the atmosphere is awful, and the staff are rude. + Incredibly violent abusive and criminal security Do not support this place. Arrest the guards, send them to a psychologist, and never let them work in "public safety."

Aggressive guards who pull people out without telling them to leave first. They lie and gaslight people, and don't know about their own obligations (or at least ignore them). Their use of excess violence is a serious crime. Overall an absolute disgrace to the police force. The club itself is fine, but the guards make it a hazard.

Okay... So a trip to Babel showed Swedish city life at its worst. Even though they write that they have zero tolerance for any kind of violence or abuse, they still choose to hire staff who discriminate their guests based on their way of "dancing"... Their staff even have the resources for both guards and bar staff to monitor the alcohol intake of 7 adult women. Based on our dancing, they assessed that we were too drunk, in which we were only allowed to be served water. To say the least, I am shocked about their unusual alcohol policy which apparently only allows 3 drinks and is judged by people's “dancing”. Unfortunately it seems more like a new method to be able to select in one's guests when there are some who do not "fit". Cool DJ but undoubtly obscene treatment - if you don’t believe me, ask google reviews! Thanks for broadening our perspective on ways to handle exclusion…

I went there with my partner and some friends. I passed the security first, wearing shorts and a t-shirt (warm summer night). My partner however could not go in because - wild plot twist - HE WAS WEARING SHORTS. When we argued that I just went through with my shorts, the guard said that it was not the same. Stunning. 2023 and women are still bait. 2023 and dress codes are still homophobic and classist.

Dj is good, that’s it. I was kicked out for being “too drunk”, like many other people in the reviews. I asked the guard who was taking me outside, if I could tell the people I’m with that I was being kicked out, or if they could inform them because I didn’t want to walk home alone at night. The guard said no, gave me my stuff and left. What kind of policy is that.. The guard said they kicked me out for my own safety, so why would they rather me walk at night alone instead of being accompanied by the ppl I came with. The guards are very rude and unhelpful here, save your money go somewhere else.

Went to celebrate my birthday with friends and one of them were told she was too drunk - which she weren’t. The guard told he could tell by the way she danced?! At the same note another friend was asked arriving at the door, how many drinks she had. She answered two and he said: then you can have one drink. None of us were drunk. It became a major drama and we ending up leaving. Everything were very strange and it seemed more about us not fitting in because of our age and “funny dancemoves”. All of us except one was 40+… I would never recommend this place to anyone!

In this place I had the worst experience I ever had in my life. I went with my wife for New Year’s, and although the place has some details, e.g. decoration, bathrooms, prices, etc, the music was quite ok and we had good time until at some point the body guard pats on my shoulder. He tells me that I should follow him through the evacuation door, my wife behind, and he starts to kick me out. Of course I tried kindly to ask for an explanation, because maybe this was a terrible mistake, and he said that I was sleeping on the table. That was totally out of reality because we were dancing with my wife, but when I told him that he pushed me even more raising his voice “don’t discuss with me” and he pushed me out even harder to the cold with my wife without our jackets. Nobody was able to give a explanation, but then reading the comments I realised that it hasn’t been the first time the body guards do this to people. Please think it twice before coming to this club. It’s not worth it to have this kind of experience.

If you want to be harassed this is the place for you. I was dancing and having a good time with my friends. While relaxing in the sofas talking to my mate I was kicked out without proper justification and harassed by the guards on the streets.

Always a nice place for Swedish standup with beer. Today it was Jesper Rönndal trying new material. Recommended place if you like standup and understand Swedish.

It was so gross and dirty everywhere. They also have a compulsory fee for the closet but if you want to step out for a smoke you will have to pay again. We watched a show and they oversold it so I got to sit on the disgusting floor. (that's mostly on me, but still) In general not my thing. but if you like grunge and being taken advantage of then enjoy!

We found a rude girl at the ticket entrance. We are paying customers, I don't expect to be treated in that way.

Night club at Babel with various artists and DJs playing, Fridays and Saturdays. It's has two dance halls. If you feel bored in one you can move to the other.

Was there on a saturday night. The place had two floors. The first floor had good music, but the decoration reminded me of school prom. The second floor was better and had a live stage. Not my cup of tea!:)

Worst club ever and definitely the worst body body guards. If are not from Malmö and visiting Malmö don’t ever think of going there cause it will destroy your experience in the lovely Malmö. I love here since 6 years and I end up going there every yeast and it’s the same. Never ever again.

Really bad venue with bad layout and not respectful staff - went for a nice concert, but people were talking all the time in the audience, staff was talking and walking around all the time. Felt so bad for the band. It was also very hard to find a place from where the band could be seen and the place was a bit dirty. It was also not so nice that upon entry we had to pay extra for cloakroom use. Not recommended.

👍 Great ambience! Learnt a new game Boule! Nice place for team activities and big groups...service was a bit slow but food was good! It works well with a package deal on food drinks and a fame of boule. They have both indoor and outdoor eating and playing options!
